Great job Bill ! We’ll make a nympher out of you yet ! Takes a little practice, but once you get used to the method, it can be deadly effective!! Again another great video with beautiful scenery and knowledgeable guides ! Keep em coming! Tight lines !
Thanks for taking on this great instruction centered fishing trip. I learned so much. Bill, I think you are a great fly angler and I can benefit from your safe wading techniques. I fish to fast and wade to deep for my age. I think I will be a safer angler this year from watching you guys fish.
Just started just started euro nymphing. Casting and getting any distance is a challenge With such a light line, is it is method that is best on wading waters ?
I finally put together a good outfit. I bought my Cabela's WLx 3-4wt reel and a Moonshine Epiphany 10'6' 3wt. I like that it has a small fighting but to maneuver the rod easier. Bill rocks BTW!
I haven't gone Epiphany yet, but I have a Moonshine Drifter and I really like it for dry and indicator fishing (two tips!). How are you enjoying your Epiphany?
Is there anywhere you recommend buying your tungsten bh nymphs? Do u buy yours or make them yourself? Would like to try your “top 4” you go through in the video but having trouble finding them online with silver heads, or in the right colors...
Hi Alex, Yes the Black Nickel or Gun Metal bead head is hard to find right now. I do tie them myself but you can try the The Fly Fiend www.theflyfiend.com He has a Calmwaters fly box available plus he can make anything up you want. Great quality and price.
Hi. My name is Joe Cruse and I’m a trip coordinator for our Northern Kentucky Fly Fisher. Could you please send me some information on your location and guided and wade trips.
I used an Echo Shadow 11 ft rod the other day (excellent rod btw) but did conclude that my 13 foot Dragontail Nirvana 400 is superior for the euronymphing style. fwiw I’ve landed a 18” rainbow and 17” smallmouth before on the Nirvana 400.
It’s good seeing Bill Spicer again!
Great to see Bill on the water again!!!
Best channel on RUclips. Change my mind
Nice episode guys! Tight line nymphing is a game changer
Beautiful video! Thanks for posting, and echoing everyone, great to see Bill Spicer on the water! Good health and God Bless. 👍🏻🎣
Excellent video. I really enjoyed seeing the action on the River then the guide breakdown of the fly line set up and selection of flies.
Great video. Jeff’s your guy for fishing great Ontario streams.
Go Bill! What a great show. Good luck and stay safe team
Thank you gentlemen. Another great episode! This is my home water and I can't wait for the spring. Cheers,
Xinghua have you fished the 'Notty'? I have heard great things about this river. It's on my list. I'm in Ottawa.

Thank you for the excellent information and scenery!

What a beautiful Experience.... Thank you..
Such a nice video. If Bill wants, I would be more than willing to go out and teach him euro nymphing.

From my experience it is and a good starting place while you hone your skills
How do I get an internship with this group?? I want this to be my future.
An internship, lol. Fish 300 days a year is a start.
Get into the Fly fishing team USA and you will receive job offers around the industry.

Did you see that?
Did you see that?
That was huge

Bravo care.
I always assumed that a bait fish pattern needs to flow with current cause naturally they do not swim with or against current.
Good video guys. Um it's comprise rather than compromise, Bill.
My fault, I do Quality Control on our shows, it got by me.. Nice catch
Mark
"Comprises" not compromises
Euro nymphing with splitshots?? Shame on you!!
Greetings, you said “compromise” when you should have said “comprise”.
:D
Cutting the water that way with a nymph, you should switch to tenkara
These techniques cannot be achieved with a tenkara rod
@@jackmcmanus1238 Nonsense! Tenkara is ideal for high stick nymphing.
