Really nice grapple snipes. This game really is one of a kind. For Titans, Tone is a good all rounder. His guns great for picking off pilots if you lead it a bit. Really is amazing to see its revival. We literally had horrible disconnects and matchmaking issues for YEARS. I don't think I played anything on the normal client except attrition because that's the only mode it seemed to match for, after half a dozen matchmaking attempts... Now I can play them all. Titans are cool but PIlot vs Pilot is probably my favorite, then hardpoint.
I love Grapple for the wierd micromovements you can pull off in gunfights. When you have your double jump midair, you can get great speed in a short amount of time. As for titans, Ronin and Northstar are my favorites because they have so much mobility. Mint, if you read this, Ronin is great against pilots after a bit of practice, and you can become a very powerful titan-on-titan menace with a lot of practice. Best advice is try not to take big fights, get close (except when fighting a scorch), and use Arc Wave with dashes to stop people from pulling your crosshair onto you. Remember to sword block. I hope you have fun. This game is pretty balanced and every titan is valid with practice.
I agree with almost everything you said here but one thing to note is when you talked about Frontier Defense you said it’s good for a game to launch with everything. Frontier defense did not launch with the game, it was added about 5 months post launch. They supported this game with monthly updates for about a year and added things like FD, the Monarch Titan, Titan Brawl and Live Fire game modes, remastered TF1 maps, and weapons like the Wingman Elite. All these things were added post launch. I think this game’s live service, brief as it was, was genuinely fantastic. I remember coming home excited to play each new thing that released.
Titanfall in it's entirety is something I have always loved and seeing content like this pop up everywhere again is seriously like a miracle to me! So many fond memories of moments that made you feel like a total B.A. like this time I was in one of the 5v5 titan matches and it ended up with only me left on the team in a Ronin with all enemy titans still standing while still somehow pulling a win at the end of it all! Still to this day one of the most fondest memories I have with gaming in general. it just felt fun! If you haven't played it I couldn't recommend it more, especially if you like the thought of Piloting a Mech! >:D
I'm so happy to see new channels I haven't seen before playing Titanfall it shows how great of a game it is! I've been hooked on it since 2016 it's amazing
It’s really cool to see you playing this game! I’ve played titanfall 2 on and off since it’s launch and I will say out of all the titans I have the most time on scorch, something about goosing pilots with your thermite launcher and melting titans with your shield is always just so satisfying for me. (If you do try out scorch remember he takes damage from his own thermite if your not using tempered plating!)
How come this fellow who has barely played TF2 has clips that make the best plays I've ever accidentally pulled off look like garbage in comparison!. I love this game and have always promoted it to my friends, the level of flow that you achieve when on a streak makes you feel like an absolute demon and to see this dude pulling off these clutch mid-air snipes only concretes my opinion on the in game engineering involved to make it such a satisfying game to play, the feeling of balance and the poise the player feels when they get the hang of it is second to none and I really hope the rumours surrounding tf3 come to light because the new generation deserve to feel the moments of elation when pulling off a kill that would be absolutely impossible in any other FPS on the market, big up everyone who understands the level that this game is on and big up mint bitzz for finally braving life outside of the halo hole of recent years (no disrespect to 343, I hear halo infinite is worth playing now!) Big love ❤️
I really like Ion for general gameplay; she hard counters Legion and Monarch (unless Monarch gets a certain perk) with her shield reflecting projectiles, and Laser Shot is such a satisfying ability to zoom in and merc both Titans and Pilots with. Her energy mechanic takes time to get used to but she’s a blast once you do.
One of the best communities I’ve ever seen in a game. Just about anyone would help you do whatever you wanted to do and offer advice for your play style. Imo for your Titan use different ones so you can figure out which one feels best for you and the map you’re playing on as well as your play style, because some Titans do better on certain maps compared to others. Always liked dropping in my Titan and having it auto while I back it up w/grapple and mag grenades cause it makes the engagements a lot of fun. Glad you’re enjoying the game bro and can’t wait to see the content you cook up.
Blitz you’re already crazy with the grapple slinging, but one thing that would improve your movement exponentially: when you shoot your grapple for a grapple slingshot, don’t use your first jump until the moment of/just after your grapple makes contact with whatever you’re attaching to. It increases your momentum a whole lot, and saves your double jump for later :D
Mint, as a gen 40 player who has been on constant titanfall content creators streams with consistent results, all Titans are extremely usable, the question becomes "which is most consistent" and the answer is Ion followed by Tone and Monarch. For the most fun, I'd recommend scorch or Ronin for new players as hard as those two can be
We're finally getting the recognition we deserve. I knew this game/franchise would come back, it was only a matter of time. Good luck Pilots, enjoy your time on Typhon. Oh also Mint. Frontier Defense did NOT come at launch. I believe we had to wait something like 6-8 months for it to come as a content patch. I can't remember if you had to pay for it. It may be possible that it was simply included in the deluxe edition you bought. My favorite titan for PvP was Tone for a long time. Being able to engage at range and keep enemies at optimal distance was very competitive for a while, towards the end of my time I opted more for Scorch because of his very high damage potential when you're able to get close. You can use your thermite to get them into a corner, then just hold your flame shield on them. Super deadly though there are situations that your Scorch is made the martyr where you might be able to escape with another Titan.
I remember leaving the game in 2020 because the server issues were sooo bad, and I would literally not be able to play the game, but I’m so glad to be back! It’s just as fun now is it ever was.
If you play warpfall scorch you can play some pretty crazy shock and awe moments. Drop your scorch right into a group of enemy titans then use grapple to grapple the titan as its falling, thisll make you board it mid air (it looks pretty goofy, and you can also use the phase boarding ability to board even faster), so by the time it hits the ground you'll be completely operational with the strongest close range titan with a bunch of completely unaware--or otherwise confused af--enemy titans. Also its possible to make make grapple slingshots even more insane if you start the grapple with grounded momentum going in the opposite direction--even just taking a couple steps back as you shoot your line can make a big difference.
Honestly, if you're asking what titan to use, just use whichever suits you best, there isn't a right or wrong answer, all of the titans are equally as good as any other. It all depends on playstyle really. ALSO love the titanfall videos :D
when it comes to what titan you "should" pick for pvp, theres not a definitive answer. most people just pick what works best for them. personally, i think you will like northstar the best since they are imo the hardest to master but when youre good with them, you are almost unkillable. plus theyre the titan equivalent to a sniper class and we all know how much you like those ;)
As a long time fan of the Titanfall franchise, I'm happy it's getting more attention, thank you Mint. About your question on Titans, my personal go to is Papa Scorch for the stupid amount of DPS you can do. He's probably not the best but I love how reckless you can be if you succeed to aggressively close space and get titans stuck in corners, while being excellent against pilots. Lots of work goes into closing the gap with your opponent but once you're close, it's barbecue time. 2nd place comes ion for its overall versatility.
Bro has been playing the game for like a week and is already better than me 💀💀💀 In all seriousness, those Kraber shots are insane. Nicely done, mint, nicely done.
As someone who's played the game since launch (when you could), Ion has been my main pvp Titan for years. It may look like the "Starter Titan" but Ion has a lot of utility in her kit once you know how to use her. She has a counter build for almost any Titan, her shoulder laser makes for easy Goosing of enemy Pilots when they eject and does considerable damage on weak points with almost no damage drop off so you can hit Northstars from their engagement range. Her mines can be good to get damage on overzealous Ronins, or placed around cheeky corners so enemy Titans walk into them trying to chase you. Her shield is great for stopping a Legion from firing his mini gun and if he continues to fire anyways, you will reflect some of the most damage possible in the game. The Split Beam also melts just about anything at medium to close range. What makes Ion tricky though, is managing her energy. Lotta people don't use Ion properly and drain her energy mid fight which leaves you open to punishment and leads said people to call her a "low tier Titan" even though it's entirely user error. I have consistently kept my one Ion alive for entire games while playing very aggressively since managing her energy is second nature to me now. So yeah a very long way of saying to try Ion and with a bit of practice, you can dominate matches with her.
Ion is actually a very versatile Titan, it has the ability the deal with really any threat. It can absorb any incoming attacks except for cores and another ions weapons with the vortex shield and launch them back, invalidating legions and tones especially. It has a laser shot that can one shot pilots and does as much damage as a nearly fully charged North Star shot. (Great for long shot montages). It can set laser tripwires to kill infantry and damage incoming titans, forcing them to either stop pursuing, take damage, waste time going around, or waster time shooting the mines. I like to combine the mines with electric smoke to hide them aswell. It’s core can obliterate enemy titans and since it’s hitscan, it’s great for killing lots of pilots too. It’s main weapons isn’t great, but when you aim, it splits the shots and triples it’s damage, and with the refraction lense perks it makes it int 5x which is a LOT of damage. This all sounds hella op right? Well one catch. Everything need to use energy, a seperate bar on the left. Vor text shield? Energy. Laser shot? Half energy gone. Aiming with Split rifle? Energy. Tripwires? Half energy gone. That’s the real challenge of ion, energy management. Learning how to conserve and use it correctly.
My favorite titan in titanfall 2 is easily scorch. I love how there’s such a big skill gap in people using the titan. players usually expect a scorch out in the wide open with bad aim, but as soon as you lure someone into a hallway and place two traps behind them then throwing down a firewall. It’s sooo damn satisfying seeing thier confidence, and titan going up in flames.
@@wii_tard1556 Was a scorch main but now i only play ronin. The most common mistake i see is ronins always trying to go for kills. Being a menace by using arc wave, phase dash and electric smoke while blocking shots inbetween to allow your teammates to deal damage is a game winning style of play if the teammates are decent. Counter ready + thunderstorm kit is great for utility and you can always keep your distance from scorches otherwise you will just burn to ashes, any other titan can be beaten in cqc.
Was an honor to fight against ya! Now, I don't know which titan is the best for combat, it's really all about personal choice, but my go to is Ion because of how easy it is to turn a battle around if the enemy just feeds bullets into your vortex shield. It's also way satisfying to blast pilots with the laser shot
As someone on Xbox who never gave up on the game through the server crashes and years of neglect frlm Respawn, I am ecstatic to see it back on the map for everybody else. It's one of my favorite games, and I love that it's coming back.
As an OG who bought titanfall 1 on release i feel an almost unhealthy amount of pride every time someone comes across and is just blown away by this amazing game
I’m so happy you’re covering this game. It’s an underrated gem. I knew you’d love it for plenty of reasons but the main one is there is so many ways to get trick shots and sling yourself across the map. Can’t wait for you to continue making more TF2 videos and play the campaign!
@@paperclip6377A 343 shill? Are you kidding me? Just because this man wants to have hope in halo means he is a lifeless husk for 343’s bidding, you my friend are delusional and I HIGHLY suggest you rethink your words…
I am so happy to hear you are enjoying titanfall 2. As a day one player, it has made everyone other fps feel 2nd rate. Scorch is my favorite. He is the best when you use him like a Ronin. That flame shield is no joke, it melts other titans.
Even with all the fantastic games that have been coming out this year, I'll always make time for my beloved Titanfall 2. Mint, if I see you on a game, I'd love to teabag with you
As a Titanfall 2 veteran, I thought I'd put in my 2 cents on the "favorite titan" matter. Personally for pvp, my favorite has to be Ion. I have put in a LOT of time with all the titans, but few things are as satisfying as mastering Ion. From goosing an ejecting pilot with the shoulder laser, to catching a pilot's archer rocket and returning it to sender, and the laser core is always so satisfying to use. The energy management is a bit of a learning curve, but pays off so well. I will always love piloting Ion every time!
imo one of the best shooters out there. i started off with titan fall a bit late but oh my do i love the movement! i’m already p decent at the game aswell and gotta say the car is INSANE. i also do enjoy the gunplay too each gun feels unique in its own way which i really like.
if you just want to be a pilot and dont want to be in a titan then enhanced auto scorch is a pretty good option also if you really really just want boosts i guess you could also call your titan and then blow it up so you can reset the meter
I think everyone will agree that Papa Scorch should be your next pick lol. And I'd love to see you just flex clips with literally every tool usable. Makes the game infinitely more fun along with movement tech. But honestly, I'm just happy to see you playing the game. Its super exciting to see you play it and I'm glad you find it so fun.
Thank you for getting more eyes on one of my all time favorite games!❤ I hope to see your kraber shot get me from across the map sometime soon 👍 oh and as for my recommendation it's Monarch with the chain gun upgrades and the cool down/reload upgrade
The campaign is definitely fun and there’s one level in particular that has a really cool mechanic to it. I had this game in my backlog for the longest time but finally played it a while ago and I enjoyed it.
I am so happy to see you uploading titan fall content! It's my favorite fps game besides old halo. Stim is a fantastic kit, I main tone for my titan. You're gonna have so much fun playing this game! I hope we get a titanfall 3
The thing that is truly beautiful about titanfall is that when someone asks what weapon they should use to pvp or what titan they should use, the answer doesn't really matter It's all about the player because of how well the game is balanced Better exampled with the titans because if u use any titan enough to get used to it, u can take out any other titan Best advice is to just experiment and learn what works for you 😉 Good luck pilots and stand by for titanfall
Titan sugestions: Trickshots- northstar Overall good for experienced players- ronin Really fun to use- papa scorch Best overall- scorch because hes fin and can decimate enemies in chokepoints
Northstar is my favorite titan, but she's a difficult titan to get right because sometimes matches in this game turn into "Oops, all Monarch!" and Monarch counters Northstar pretty hard. Northstar, however, can go toe-to-toe with just about every other titan in the game and come out handily on top, if you know how to leverage the map
Awesome to see so many comments just saying use all of them or what suits your playstyle best as that is exactly the right answer. For me I stick with Ronin and NorthStar since I'm not a fan of slower titans. I do greatly miss Tones 40mm in Titanfall 1 than was my main titan weapon.
I'm so happy to see the revival of this game and community, and I'm stoked to see you enjoying it. You should reach out to iniquity and see what shenanigans y'all can get up to!
Still amazing to see you covering this game. Also i was watching your gameplay and it is incredible that you only just started, however you play Titanfall like it's halo (ducking behind walls, peaking cover, making big pushes, etc) you should try playing into the movement system more, learn how to tapstrafe (it only takes 20 minutes) and try being more fluid in your movement. As cool as hitting a nice headshot is being able to get and keep speed in Titanfall and just breaking ankles in the air is the most fun you can have in gameing, seriously hoping around off buildings without slowing down will completely change how you see fps's forever you gotta try it.
Without doubt the best first person online PvP to exist! Its a perfect mix of infantry combat at the beginning of a match wich gradually forma into an epic Titan vs Titan Final... Also the weapons are really unique in their combat purpose and allow to adjust to your own playstyle. Some of the maps are beautiful and the whole wallrun mechanics give it a dynamic no where else to be found! Titanic!
Mint is already on track to replace RendyGaming's title card feature with all these Kraber shots lol. So happy to see this game explode in popularity again, and even more so that Mint is covering it too. As a stim main myself, I can't wait to hear your impressions of the class. I'd also recommend giving Scorch a try. He's pretty decent for both long and short range engagements, and you can even use his incendiary traps for area control. Plus, there's some downright dirty ways to turn the flame shield into an offensive tool that works just as well at defense. Regardless, I'm glad to see you enjoying the game and I can't wait to see the next video
For flashy titan plays, Northstar, railgunning pilots is akin to the kraber, real satisfying. If you're really quick to get your Titan before everyone else, choosing Ronin and just dashing around everywhere and shotgunning Pilots can lead to some wild multikills. When I play, I usually pick Monarch, it has interesting customisation. I use the Titan Battery pilot perk, so when i call my titan I have a full shield, and extra ultimate charge. Each time my ult charges up, I get a full new shield, and I try to use my shield sapper beam on cooldown, so I have some shields on, and am rarely getting hit for critical damage. My titan usually lasts half a match, it feels pretty dominant, but probably wouldn't present a lot of fun to watch gameplay.
it'll never die, real OG classic. There are some sandbox pieces that I wouldn't recommend because their too "cheesy" and TF2 vets will rinse you for. Monarch, tone, the CAR and the spitfire are "too beginner friendly" so avoid them BUT THE MOST IMPORANT PART IS HAVING FUUUUUUUUUUUUUN!! The Tf2 community is amazing and use what you want at the end of the day. A channel I'd recommend is Brickys because he's super passionate about the LORE and gameplay mechanics!
Can’t believe I’m about to give mint blitz some tips on how to play better but here we go: instead of jumping and then grappling, jump right as the grapple connects (you can hear a metallic clank when this happens) and then perform the slingshot
From what I can tell, people love Scorch. But from personal experience and some veteran opinions Tone is amazing. Landing mid air shots on Pilots is the highlight of Tone gameplay. Not as flashy as some of the others but quite a consistent Titan and learning to aim up while firing seeking rockets to go over walls helps a ton.
It's funny that you put Frontier Defense as an example of "games releasing feature complete". Because that mode was a complete afterthought released late into the game's life (2 to 3 years later iirc). It was probably an effort to help keep the multiplayer alive, since it required way less players to play, and it has a different set of grind for titans.
I think tone or legion should be your go to titan since they are strong and straightforward. But every titan requires some knowledge to use them properly, if you look at a titan and use your rockets with tone, an ion will send it straight back to you and destroy your titan, you need to aim to the sides, up or backwards to make the rockets hit from above or from the sides. -Ronin dies easily when not blocking or approaching from an open field without any cover, you need to flank and be a disturbance for enemy team while soaking up the bullets with sword block, let your team do the work, you can flank and take out a titan easily with ronin but run away from unwinnable fights. -Monarch starts weak but ends up being the strongest with upgrades, you need to stay alive, don't forget to equip the finisher that steals a battery and heals your titan. -Legion is deadly in short and long ranges, his core is nightmare for pilots and he can deal insane burst damage with his hidden compartment kit. -Northstar is boring to play but can be really effective as a support from the backlines, if you wanna be toxic equip nuclear eject and double tether trap kit and when doomed let the enemies get close, trap and immediately eject for free kills. -Ion requires you to keep energy resource under control otherwise you're defenseless. Don't waste your energy by right clicking with the split rifle if you aren't using the lens kit, use it for the shield and shoulder laser. If you have energy, use the shoulder laser to deal damage and the rifle to keep pressure on the enemy, shield to catch the rockets and bullets, hard to play effectively. -Scorch is also hard to play but he can delete enemies and keep a zone locked for a long time. His best weapon is the thermal shield, try to stay close and use your only dash to either get very close or take cover if the enemy can outrun you. Use either the plating kit or the shield kit, i recommend shield. Looking at the options, legion would be the best but tone is also a great option. You can test and learn to play other titans as well but they need a certain strategy to play effectively. My ronin's lifespan was about 30 seconds after titanfall, now i roam the map and flank enemies, don't engage in unwinnable fights and try to take down as many pilots and npcs as possible to increase the score. You'll pick a favorite with time. Good luck!
Ever since the monarchs reign expansion came out, monarch was my main titan. For guns I really liked the spitfire, the R-101, and the wingman. I'm reinstalling the game now, I sunk so much time into Titanfall back when it was receiving constant updates, I was actually pretty good. It'll be good to play it again. MRVN'S finest, checking in
Monarch is amazing to stay alive with the right build it just eats other titans and regains batteries (shields) every execution you do with monarch replenishes it's shields keeping it alive longer and longer. I love all the titans I truly do but monarch is such an amazing balance and if played right you can take an entire enemy team of titans out by yourself. Build: Titan kit: Overcore (or counter ready I like both) Monarch kit: Energy thief (execution that steals enemy titan batteries) Titanfall kit: Warpfall (drops titan almost instantly so you can crush enemy titans in one hit even before you get in your own) Core upgrades: 1- Arc rounds (electrified chain gun with increased ammo) 2- Maelstrom (enhanced electric smoke great for pilots and titans) 3- Superior chassis (removed weak points and increases max health and armor literal beast mode) Monarch is ever evolving and the longer it's on the field the more dangerous it becomes it eats other titans to stay alive and it gains strength as it massacres the enemies it's truly a monster Everytime you get an upgrade ore once you're fully upgraded it replenishes full shields with no cut off the more you kill the more you regain Best Boost to have with monarch - Battery back up always call your titan down with a battery off rip Pilot perks to use (below loadout) - phase embark (instantly warp into titan perfect for warpfall) - low profile (no jump jet trails and silent titan rodeo climbing to steal battery from titans or drop nades I to batter compartment if battery is missing) Obviously use whatever pilot load out you want but I personally love -Stim (speed boost and heal) -Electric smoke (good for information and damage to pilots and titans and blocking off sight) R-201- with tactkill (pilot kills give Stim faster cooldown) -Gunrunner (shoot while sprinting) -HCOG Ranger (3 times scope for mid to long range hip fire is too good to use a short scope) RE-45 - with tactkill and Gunrunner as well Charge rifle - for titans or sniping pilots with Quick swap and Charge hack for faster swap speed and fire rate That's one of my favorite builds but as you said there's so many ways to play I just figured I'd share my years of experience in this game HAVE FUN PLAYING TITANFALL 🙌
Just a grapple tip that you might’ve already figured out.. Use your first jump right as you attach and start to get pulled. This will give you a stronger pull and momentum. You can also use this same concept as you’re midair and grapple to a different wall/object, but then using your double jump to give yourself a stronger pull/momentum. Also, while wall running on the same wall for a long period of time, the game will push you off eventually but you can negate that by quickly using your grapple to reattach over and over. Keep up the videos!! (:
I’m very happy to see titanfall 2 is still alive, last I heard the game was infested with cheaters, and even hackers that would take the servers down for huge periods of time and the game was basically dead. The movement system is incredible and the time to kill was just right I missed it dearly.
God, I can't wait for your campaign gameplay. I love going back and replaying the campaign. It has some really awesome moments and BT is an awesome companion. Also remember to execute each of the bosses' Titans in campaign. Each of them, with the exception of one, maybe two, has a different titan execution for when you get them in the doomed state.
Monarch and Scorch are both very, very strong but have a high skill ceiling. They’re difficult to use but heavily reward player skill and investment. Monarch is just straight hard to kill with insane survivability if you build her right while Scorch has insane area denial and tick damage - someone walks into an arena with a good Scorch player and the floor is literally lava, plus good skill shots with the thermite launcher can pick players off in single shots. Ion’s also great but a bit more finicky. The addition of Monarch to the game with arc rounds created a hard counter to Ion’s Vortex Shield but she’s still very strong if you’re good at resource management.
I sucked at every single FPS I’ve ever played until I tried Titanfall. For some reason, I was absolutely insane at it, dropping 30 kill games on average. I am glad to see my favorite shooter getting back on its feet, even if I suck at it now after not being able to play it for so long. Also, I think you should play Ronin. He’s my main, and he may not have a lot of health, but he makes up for it with loads of movement and damage as well as the longest melee range of any titan, due to the fact that he has a sword, so it makes going around and slicing up pilots super easy and fun
As far as titans go, i cant really say that there is any meta titans. Really any one of them can be god tier. As a monarch main, I'd recommend running arc rounds, maelstorm, and the chassis upgrade core if your inteterested in running as her in PvP modes. If you want be a little extra goofy, you should also run battery thief. Not only does it give monarch a cool new execution animation, it also lets you steal batteries by executing titans. If you want to get fairly decent (and entertaining) summeries of each titan and their kits, I would recommend watching some of TheFlyingTeaCup's "Lets talk" videos. As a TF veteran, I want to welcome you to the frontier, Pilot Blitz!
Scorch is a GOD in the PvE mode, by the way. If you’re playing on the map rise especially, you’ll understand. His ability to deal tens of thousands of damage to an entire horde of titans is UNMATCHED. It’s quite satisfying.
g28 700+ hour pilot here, there is no go-to pvp titan as they are incredibly balanced, generally you wanna think of titans as a game of rock paper sisours, for example use ronin against northstar, scorch against ronin, tone against scorch and so on and so forth. Of course, if the skill gap between any given players in any titans is to big, the better player will win, regardless of titan. One of the few actual titan "metas" is to use Scorch on Complex, a map which heavily favours both him and grenadier weapons. Personally I main northstar as I find it best for fighting off multiple titans at once, but you need to have really good spacial awareness and map knowledge in order to constantly rotate to stay away from your enemies. In my experience northstar is incredibly effective against Ions, Legions and Monachs while Ronins tend to be the biggest threat
As long as monarchs crave the battery, as long as papa scorch has fire, and as long as prime legion has his diaper, Titanfall will never die Good fortune pilot
Long live Titanfall 2
Which Titan should I be using?
My fav is ronin but u can use whatever
Definitely should try the most gigachad titan- Scorch
tone if you want pilot kills
Ronin is the goat
If you can get all her upgrade cores, Monarch is a monster. She’s a Jack of all trades and an S Tier Titan for me

I think this game’s live service, brief as it was, was genuinely fantastic. I remember coming home excited to play each new thing that released.
Those in air Kraber shots are awesome! Keep it up!
Mint is nuts at classic mp shooters and this is like the pinnacle of the genre, gonna be a ride
Love to see it coming back. Fantastic game
How come this fellow who has barely played TF2 has clips that make the best plays I've ever accidentally pulled off look like garbage in comparison!. I love this game and have always promoted it to my friends, the level of flow that you achieve when on a streak makes you feel like an absolute demon and to see this dude pulling off these clutch mid-air snipes only concretes my opinion on the in game engineering involved to make it such a satisfying game to play, the feeling of balance and the poise the player feels when they get the hang of it is second to none and I really hope the rumours surrounding tf3 come to light because the new generation deserve to feel the moments of elation when pulling off a kill that would be absolutely impossible in any other FPS on the market, big up everyone who understands the level that this game is on and big up mint bitzz for finally braving life outside of the halo hole of recent years (no disrespect to 343, I hear halo infinite is worth playing now!)
Big love ❤️
I used to play titanfall 2 years ago. This makes me wanna get back into it
Also scorch was always my fav titan
do it.
Do it
@@jonharrison3114 You convinced me
I really like Ion for general gameplay; she hard counters Legion and Monarch (unless Monarch gets a certain perk) with her shield reflecting projectiles, and Laser Shot is such a satisfying ability to zoom in and merc both Titans and Pilots with.
I honestly love Scorch. Such a fun, heavy Titan, and it’s really fun to set up for map control with him.
That last clip, i can feel the surprise and excitment of finding out you can snipe people with the charge rifle in mid air, sooo satisfying ❤
I’ll keep this in mind thankyou
Mint, as a gen 40 player who has been on constant titanfall content creators streams with consistent results, all Titans are extremely usable, the question becomes "which is most consistent" and the answer is Ion followed by Tone and Monarch. For the most fun, I'd recommend scorch or Ronin for new players as hard as those two can be
Its so nice to hear Mint sound so happy playing a game again.
ALSO love the titanfall videos :D
when it comes to what titan you "should" pick for pvp, theres not a definitive answer. most people just pick what works best for them. personally, i think you will like northstar the best since they are imo the hardest to master but when youre good with them, you are almost unkillable. plus theyre the titan equivalent to a sniper class and we all know how much you like those ;)
Sweet I haven't even played Titanfall 2 yet but I love these Titanfall videos they are super refreshing
I like how being literally the best halo player makes him god-tier at any other fps
Love to see you covering Titanfall 2 I was a Halo fan first but I can't help but absolutely love Titanfall 2
Please keep uploading titanfall gameplay mate, so nice seeing content creators covering it!
Bro has been playing the game for like a week and is already better than me 💀💀💀
In all seriousness, those Kraber shots are insane. Nicely done, mint, nicely done.
I've been loving every minute of playing titanfall 2 again and watching you cover it. Thank you man! Respawn please see this!!
There are few things more satisfying than barbecuing a ronin with your flame shield
About time this game gets the recognition and praise it deserves! Tone is by far the most optimal titan for pvp imo.
Please quit Titanfall.
Thank you for having a platform and speaking on our behalf, a most noble cause indeed
This game is a 10/10. Very few things could make it better
videos like this will make Titanfall 3 a reality. keep it up, Mint!
Dude I hope so! That would be awesome
Bro I don't think a 343 shill making a video on Titanfall will affect Titanfall 3
@@paperclip6377A 343 shill? Are you kidding me? Just because this man wants to have hope in halo means he is a lifeless husk for 343’s bidding, you my friend are delusional and I HIGHLY suggest you rethink your words…
@@EADF-CDF-SQthat guy above you must be kidding lmfao😂
@@niklask1477 Calling somebody a “shill” isn’t very funny if it is a joke…
I will always love piloting Ion every time!
imo one of the best shooters out there. i started off with titan fall a bit late but oh my do i love the movement! i’m already p decent at the game aswell and gotta say the car is INSANE. i also do enjoy the gunplay too each gun feels unique in its own way which i really like.
if you just want to be a pilot and dont want to be in a titan then enhanced auto scorch is a pretty good option
also if you really really just want boosts i guess you could also call your titan and then blow it up so you can reset the meter
"My death was greatly exaggerated."
Amazing Video mint :) Can't wait to see how you progress through the game and hope to have more matches with and against ya
I hope we get a titanfall 3
i never reallytouched the kraber on controller , i just assumed it was impossible , but seeing you do it makes me wanna practice after all these years
The thing that is truly beautiful about titanfall is that when someone asks what weapon they should use to pvp or what titan they should use, the answer doesn't really matter
It's all about the player because of how well the game is balanced
Better exampled with the titans because if u use any titan enough to get used to it, u can take out any other titan
Best advice is to just experiment and learn what works for you 😉
Good luck pilots and stand by for titanfall
Titan sugestions:
Trickshots- northstar
Overall good for experienced players- ronin
Really fun to use- papa scorch
Best overall- scorch because hes fin and can decimate enemies in chokepoints
The one to two, day and night shift janitors need a a raise
When i played this game a few years ago i wondered how in the world there werent more players. So happy to see all of this
Northstar is my favorite titan, but she's a difficult titan to get right because sometimes matches in this game turn into "Oops, all Monarch!" and Monarch counters Northstar pretty hard.
So so happy to see this game resurgence.
What having a near perfect gameplay loop and feel does to a mf
Thank god i experienced Mint in a warm up game, i still had some hope as ran circles around the whole team.
I actually find this so wholesome
death: "its time to go, you arent getting any updates."
titanfall: "Nuh-uh"
Playing scorch again after a couple years of frustrating dismisses, etc.. Love the game. Creators of Titanfall, many 😊 thanks.
Good luck!
keep posting holy hell!!! The community loves this
Ever since the monarchs reign expansion came out, monarch was my main titan.
Build:
Titan kit: Overcore (or counter ready I like both)
Monarch kit: Energy thief (execution that steals enemy titan batteries)
Titanfall kit: Warpfall (drops titan almost instantly so you can crush enemy titans in one hit even before you get in your own)
Core upgrades:
1- Arc rounds (electrified chain gun with increased ammo)
2- Maelstrom (enhanced electric smoke great for pilots and titans)
3- Superior chassis (removed weak points and increases max health and armor literal beast mode)
Monarch is ever evolving and the longer it's on the field the more dangerous it becomes it eats other titans to stay alive and it gains strength as it massacres the enemies it's truly a monster
Everytime you get an upgrade ore once you're fully upgraded it replenishes full shields with no cut off the more you kill the more you regain
Best Boost to have with monarch - Battery back up always call your titan down with a battery off rip
Pilot perks to use (below loadout)
- phase embark (instantly warp into titan perfect for warpfall)
- low profile (no jump jet trails and silent titan rodeo climbing to steal battery from titans or drop nades I to batter compartment if battery is missing)
Obviously use whatever pilot load out you want but I personally love
-Stim (speed boost and heal)
-Electric smoke (good for information and damage to pilots and titans and blocking off sight)
R-201- with tactkill
(pilot kills give Stim faster cooldown)
-Gunrunner
(shoot while sprinting)
-HCOG Ranger
(3 times scope for mid to long range hip fire is too good to use a short scope)
RE-45 - with tactkill and Gunrunner as well
Charge rifle - for titans or sniping pilots with Quick swap and Charge hack for faster swap speed and fire rate
That's one of my favorite builds but as you said there's so many ways to play I just figured I'd share my years of experience in this game HAVE FUN PLAYING TITANFALL 🙌
That was awesome! I can't wait for the campaign video! It's so fun! I think when my TV is fixed I'm gonna do the campaign again lol
The movement system is incredible and the time to kill was just right I missed it dearly.
live footage of TF2 refusing to die
God, I can't wait for your campaign gameplay. I love going back and replaying the campaign. It has some really awesome moments and BT is an awesome companion. Also remember to execute each of the bosses' Titans in campaign. Each of them, with the exception of one, maybe two, has a different titan execution for when you get them in the doomed state.
Please keep playing this gem of a game, first time I touched halo was last night because they added husky raid back haha
Beautiful shots I love the movement I'm glad you're having fun playing this masterpiece 🙌
I can safely say Scorch is a community favorite. Not saying that everyone believes he is the best, but definitely a fun one that people rally behind.
343, thank you for making husky raid part of the playlist.
g28 700+ hour pilot here, there is no go-to pvp titan as they are incredibly balanced, generally you wanna think of titans as a game of rock paper sisours, for example use ronin against northstar, scorch against ronin, tone against scorch and so on and so forth.
Bought titanfall 2 cause of u Mint. Hopping on for the 1st time this Friday.
Titanfall 2’a campaign is on the quality level of Halo 2’s story, and Halo 3’s gameplay
As long as monarchs crave the battery, as long as papa scorch has fire, and as long as prime legion has his diaper, Titanfall will never die
Good fortune pilot
It actively refutes obscurity, and I couldn’t be happier
