Update short: • Update on 1970 Riviera...
Honesty cost me $4550. I guess that is why many sellers either lie or create plausible deniability.

Update on the brakes and fuel starvation mentioned in the video. I have adjusted the rebuilt brakes and now it brakes wonderfully. The problem with fuel starvation was a dirty fuel filter. I installed a new filter. Now it is fast, powerful and runs down the road without intermittent sputtering.
This is my favorite video! I wish the circumstances were different, but what a great job you did telling the story!
I live to fight another day.
All in all, very nice example of a 1970 Riviera. The color is nice as well! 👍🏻
truly enjoyed the video, always like hearing about all the little details.
Thank you. I had mixed feelings about all this.
Is an amazing car ! If was me, I was keeping it, even will take some jobs , but in the end will be something!
New friend here! I hope we will stay close!
Respect!
In 4th grade my dad had a 66 when I turned 18 I got a 66 love those cars
I had a 1967 Riviera GS that I loved. Also a 1971 Boattail.
I remember the color and liked it then. Now, I am not so sure! I had a 1966, 1969 & 1971 Riviera. I always loved the 1970.
I think there were 2 or 3 different golds in 1970.
There was also Harvest Gold and Desert Gold for Buick in 1970. Maybe you are thinking of either of those colors. I personally prefer Desert Gold.
I have to say that Buick made a car that was beautiful in 1967 into something truly hideous.
I once had a 67 Riviera GS. But the 1970 has become more and more beautiful to me as I get older. That is not to say the 66 and 67 isn't.
Those wide stripes down the sides that are painted a cream color most likely has chrome underneath . I had a red one that a paint chip that exposed chrome underneath. I removed all of the red paint that covered the wide strips on both sides. It really looked great afterwards.
Yes, the entire cast molding is chromed. The insert is usually painted either the body color or the contrasting color of the vinyl top.
Except for the color, she is so pretty.
@@Turtlepaparazzi Did you wash it off?!
@@Species710 No bad! Points for wit.
Greetings from the UK ! Great video + fabulous car !
thank you
it’s a shame. i dealt with 4 ppl in the three mos i searched for my new sunday driver. i got bad vibes from all of them and moved on.
i got real comfortable real quick dealing with you. the car you sold me is so damn nice. i feel just plain luckky to have dealt with an honest atheist as opposed to an honest christian.
Thank you my friend.
What does your last sentence mean? Are you against Christians?
Did u buy sight unseen ?? should not be complaining Nice car though
If you watch the entire video, you will see I admit is it MY fault two or three time that I did not fly in to inspect the car before I bought it. I reserve the right to complain about anything, even if they hang me with a silk rope.
@@MostlyBuicks 😂 lol I agree. Beautiful car.
