I think with his skills, start monk to improve at the 2, have Carter be the spark off the bench. go get Ingram and another good wing. Thats a contending team. trade barnes and davion for cam thomas. maybe keep Heurter for 1 more season as a bench shooter. And seriously give the ball to Keegan every other possesion!

I’m grateful that he sounds excited to play for the Kings. Personally gonna be supportive of him and a fan of his play style. A little sad about the position fit and that it probably means one of the guards we supported this year may be on the way out, but I’m hopeful that Monte can smooth out the roster and bring in some size somehow.

Devin also said he studied a lot of what Brunson does and is incorporating Brunson’s footwork and crafty moves into his game. He could make for a fantastic 6th man if we move Malik to the starting 5, or is an upgraded Keon Ellis if we keep monk as the 6th man

I was in shock after the pick (like I was with Haliburton), but from everything I watched last night, I am excited. He seems like a dawwwgggg (Deuce bark) and has great defensive instincts and tools, and feels like a winning player. Plus, he gives us a swagger that this locker room needs to shake off this nice guy aura. I am 100% on board. I just hope there's a trade or free agent move incoming for some wings/forwards. Ok I love DC as a player as he seems like an absolute winner, but I'm losing confidence in Monte's ability to get trades done so its hard to be happy right now cause this drives down the value of Keon and Davion and hard to see us getting a significant wing upgrade outside of dealing with a team that values draft capital. And I don’t think anyone is expecting to get anthony edwards or KD for one or the other. It would be from a lottery team. And Barnes and heurter is most likely better than the #1-10 in the draft. And I’ll just answer the question for u about this draft. U know the #1 draft pick comp comparison is Harrison Barnes? Just cause they haven’t had the best year last year on the kings doesn’t mean they wouldn’t be great on another. Look at malik monk before the kinge
