Hey guys. Chickens need grit on demand to help digest their food. You might like to use a cow panel and make them a shelter over top of the little chicken house. it would give them a dry space to move around on rainy days. Living Traditions Homestead channel have great shelters for their chickens. I really enjoy your hard working attitudes. Fantastic homestead.

We down here in Vegas are going to 110 degrees plus this week, it is gonna be hotter than the devils wiener in my hood. I’m betting on old age and I say that because I work for a chicken farm that is an egg facility and you said that’s where they come from and they force those chickens to lay out all their eggs and once they are done laying they are done if you know what I mean. That would also explain why your not getting eggs or very few. They have none left to lay. I would make chicken noodle soup and get new chickens.

Same here! I think if you keep chickens for a while it will happen. If you feed a lot of scraps it can lead to obesity and heart problems.
Sometimes chickens just die for no reason just like people.
Please guys buy a small shed for your tools.
