You two are going through the same thing that me and my ex-wife went through. We got a divorce six months before you too, didn't speak for 3 months, and after we sign the papers we became best friends again. Right now we are dating again. God works in weird ways.

Wow I have been waiting for this day!!!! Makes me so happy to see you 2 together. I first found your channel just searching homesteaders and I came across your “how to homestead even when your young” video and I was so encouraged by a young couple who was working together making homesteading work for them so I was really bummed to see you 2 separate but always held on to hope that you two would find your way back to each other. I know this doesn’t mean you guys will actually get back together but the fact that you can be friendly with each other and help one another is a beautiful thing!
And lastly, the coroner called me 6 days ago to tell me they found my brother deceased. We hadn’t spoke for a year because I was unhappy with his choices. I can’t tell you how much regret I have not keeping in touch with him, good or bad. Now, I can only make arrangements for his body to be buried. THIS video made me smile for a minute and forget what a crappy week this has been. Please take it from me, be kind to each other whether in love or not. Any one of us can be gone in a minute, and anger or hate is hard to live with. Peace guys, I really hope things work out for y’all.

Im friends with my ex. We have been friends now for 30 years. We now live together as friends. You have a history together. So you know each other better than other people know you. So you can have someone to be a good friend and give good advice.
My ex husband was a horrible husband but a great best friend. We divorced when our daughter was still a baby and once the raw feelings were over. we became best friends again and happily raised our little girl together. We lost him about 3 years ago. And honestly I really miss my friend. But I don't have any regrets of us staying close as friends. He even lived with us at one point becuz of his illness. I am grateful that I got to spend the last couple of years with him before he passed. So you two count your blessings. Yes things happen for a reason. I have always believed that. I bet your friendship grows stronger now that all the divorce stuff is behind you.

My ex wife and I tried 3 times over 30 years and we are good friends, as long as we aren't living together. Weird but, that's how it is. 25 years after our divorce, she contacted me needing a friend. We got back together, the apart, then together and now apart, permanently. Still friends though. That was how our relationship was. On and off all the time. Can't handle that so, sticking to just being friends.

That's awesome!! I love it. Before my first husband died of stage 4 lung cancer I had his ex wife come down and they were able to forgive each other for all the bad!! And there (our adult children got too witness it) It was beautiful there wasn't a dry eye in the house. I'm so happy to see this... Love you both

Me and my wife were split up for 8 months and on our court day to finalize our divorce we went into court, she started crying, we talked to the judge and signed the papers, and we walked out of the courthouse together and she wanted a hug, and well, we got back together in the parking lot of the courthouse. And we were together for 4 years after that day and then we went our separate ways. To this day we're still friends that text and calls each other. No matter what, it's always better staying friends if at all possible. Good on you two.

I'll only spit out one piece of advice...and it's based on experience. Be honest with each other. Say whatever you feel. No matter what...be honest. It sucks to be left with those "I should have told her such and such" regrets.

Yes! There can be friendship after divorce. My ex and I were divorced in '89, there was a bad patch after but soon resolved, both remarried and we are still friends.
I’m really happy to see you both getting along so well. My ex and I have stayed friends since our divorce in 1998. We’ve been able to get over hurt feelings and everything for the sake of our daughter. It makes life a lot easier getting along. Good for you both for rising above!

Before splitting your lives were very stressed apart from your relationship. Building Jared’s house, building a You Tube channel, renovating the family ranch house. Then there was relationship stress, financial stress, stress re the future. Most of the in your first year of marriage which is notoriously difficult anyway.
Been married for 36 years, 3 children and 2 grandchildren. We had our ups and downs... but I grateful and blessed that we stuck together through thick and thin because now I am growing old with my best friend and enjoying our grandchildren. Key to good marriage is communication, serving, loving and forgiving one another, shared vision and direction, community of people who believe in marriage and will mentor you and realizing that nobody is perfect only God is perfect.
I am SO PROUD OF YOU BOTH! Sometimes we marry for the wrong reasons, but in the end it is a travesty to lose the friendship. As friends you must work on the relationship, as married folk, that is not always considered. You both have learned one of the greatest lessons of life, LET THINGS GO AND HOLD ON TO THE PEOPLE THAT HAVE YOUR BACK! Ooh Wow this might just be the Devine intervention needed..... looks so freaking natural. I'm very good friends with my ex. He was my first love. We've both been married to other people and divorced. Haven't been together as a couple for over 30 years, but were the best of friends. This makes my heart smile.

My parents talked more divorced than they did the last ten years of their marriage. When it came time to split things up they both sat at the dinning room table and talked it out and did it without a lawyer fighting over everything. They just grew apart and was so unhappy that the divorce was the best thing for both of them. It can be done!
