Too late, I have moved on to XDefiant. They have an entire year worth of content ready: multiple modes, factions, abilities, weapons and maps. All of those have been leaked from data-mining and the players are very excited for all of them. They're already working on year 2.
speaking of ranked, how the cheating situation in that playlist? is that issue solved?

Nobody cares anymore mint..the people left on infinite are just people who refuse to play other games for the past 2.5 years. I have finally branched out..played Palworld, xdefiant, mlb the show, new cod will be on gamepass and I can wait till next gears and next halo.

Can someone explain the dislike for SBMM? To me, it ensures the game is competitive for you. If you’re casual, then you should end up against other more casual players, and if you’re more serious you should play against more serious/better players, right? Granted, i haven’t played a lot of halo multiplayer recently so just trying to understand
@eternitysquiregaming5573 The problem isnt the concept of SBMM. SBMM as a concept is inherently good. The problem point lies in modern implementations and how companies twist the algorithm to farm engagement. The algorithm will feed you lopsided games so you earn losses and then throw you a win to keep you hooked. The players who shouldnt be in higher skill lobbies end up being there anyway and better players struggle. The only way to circumvent this matchmaker is to play in large groups with very high skill. Sadly, not many can do this. Why not just play with any friends? Well, modern SBMM algorithms dont account for your friends if they are lower skill, only the highest skilled player in the lobby. So your friends have a bad time alongside you.

I honestly would prefer they continue to update The Master Chief Collection instead of Halo Infinite, but that's just me.

I don’t see how this will make it easier to find games. If SBMM hasn’t changed then it means the population looking for exactly the same games types you are looking for will be smaller, which then means it will be more difficult to find a match based on the SBMM criteria.
For the majority of match types it will be easier as when you consider the people which don't queue for playlists due to a single game type they don't want to play it adds populaton. You are right tho, for the more niche game types or underrated ones, they may see declines. At the end of the day the consequences of freedom are always worth it.
@@suprjudy but when you significantly narrow down your search parameters, wouldn’t that decrease the population of people also searching for the same thing? Ex: Team Slayer might have a pop of 10,000, but team slayer/3v3/streets and Aquarius might only have a pop of 50. Add SBMM to the mix and you’d never find a game.

Regular firefight and gruntpocolypse had better be split into different items... so tired of 90% of my firefight matches being gruntpocolypse. I think most agree because everyone just quits now and i never get full teams

@@iLegionaire3755 Not to mention the AI can't use vehicles....like EVERY version of firefight that's come before.
Lack of variety of modes in firefight is my chief gripe about the mode, other than the commonality of the gruntpocalypse mode. They could make shielded grunts be worth 10x points, but they won't.
That sucks, I literally didn’t even know gruntpocalypse existed until this comment and I’ve played firefight dozens of times
The Match Composer is not going to find matches any better than before, like MCC, if you have certain selections for each Halo game plus the playlists and you are not able to find anyone with that selection, its not going to necessarily speed up find matches anymore quicker. The biggest problem will be once support has gone down to basically nothing and fewer and fewer people are playing, then the match composer might make it easier for a number of months but then you will be back to square 1 trying to find matches again in your favorite preference taking longer like before. Hence, I don't really see this improving search times all that terribly much, especially for unusual combinations.

I’m sad that I’m unable to be excited for this and anything post launch. That’s how bad the content drought was for me hopefully this reignites the game for me

I'm worried about this.. and I love this idea..but how is this gonna effect some players favorite game modes that aren't populated and can't find matches.. I understand there are still plenty of players but that will dwindle with time. Just like mcc I can't ever find a halo reach invasion match.

@@MintBlitz Remmy, if I were you I would start testing the waters with different games, just to see what your audience will receive. Just a couple here and there to see how your analytics do. I know you started doing that, but maybe a little bit more frequently would be a good idea. Didn't your XDefient videos and Fallout videos do well? Titanfall 2 as well.

Hello dude I love the videos and updates a lot but I wanted to ask something. What's your opinion on the characters sex sliding bar? I feel like they missed a trick to have all sorts of different Spartans (male, female, big muscle, lean build, mix of both genders etc) because whilst I think its fine if there is a androgynous Spartan, I miss when Spartans look more like hench super soldiers. I don't know if it's something you could talk about with the sliding scale and how it was a missed opportunity
Supposedly, from what the leaders found, is you'll possibly be able to earn SP instead of XP when you max out the pass and you can also possible earn SP in custom games too. That's why custom games is kind of glitched where you will see SP out of 7500 instead of XP.

I stopped playing squad battle consistently due to land grab being added to the playlist so with the ability to filter that out and other game modes I'm definitely going to be super excited for this update for playing, however I do feel like it won't do anything for bringing back people, just a nice qol update.

I like halo infinite, and this is a good addition to the game, but whats keeping it from being truly great is the lack of social interaction imo.
Im i the only who think that the gamemodes variety will die and we will only be able to play swat and slayer modes because everyone will choose them...
At very least we need griffball if we're not getting new weapons or vehicles on infinite

Why would it help people find games faster? I would think it would make the game search take longer because it has to limit who it will match you with.
I have really been enjoying xdefiant. Would love to see you make a video on how Xdefiant has launched and how future games should launch…content, roadmap, all good stuff. I have over 10k halo infinite games played. Enjoyed it a lot..but honestly there are so many new games that have come out or are coming out in this halo downtime I will be playing other games for once Vs the same game for 2.5 years.
It is a pretty good update, and I do like I can pick what game modes I want to play, but I wish they do something about the maps because there are some maps that me and my friends do not like and don’t want to play them anymore because they are so bad and poorly designed and which I wish 343 bring back map voting so we can pick what maps we want to play like Halo 3, Reach and even Halo 4 had or give us what they did for picking game modes.
All this at the end of the games life span. What’s there to excited about, all the content is in the shop.

I'm asian, and i cover halo infinite content, but i am at the peak of stopping entirely due to its being dead in asia, its so hard to find a single match, and when i do, its 200+ ping, could u cover this topic, halo infinite in asia? and give ur opinion on this matter? it would be great to get a little sense of final stand here for halo infinite before i quit..
