disabled gamer myself I have cerebral palsy your content so far has inspired me to try different control methods for video games I originally used controller for a lot of things but now I'm using an MMO mouse with programmable buttons because I also play with one hand your videos are hilarious dude by the way keep up the good work bro
I have cerebral palsy on the left side of my body and its easier to play video games on console than on pc but sometimes could be very difficult and frustrating on keyboard
i've been so nervous about going back to an arcade after my amputation but this actually put a little excitement back in my heart seeing you have this much fun!!! i forgot how many different controls they all use. 👾 i'm such a big fan man
This man got a sponsor after only making three videos. That tells you the quality of this channel, I can't think of a single other content creator where that's happened.
I lost use of my right arm for about a year a while back. Was able to beat monster hunter world by tapping the right side of the controller on a pillow, chair, leg or my numb dead fingers lol Felt like a real accomplishment. Known its not the same but I hope you continue to enjoy games and best of luck dude.
Wouldn't mind seeing you tackle some hands free games. DDR, some skateboard games, Xbox Kinect, etc. Maybe rank those on their quality or how good you are at them.
Absolute legend is what you are kid. It took me one stroke, two heart attacks, A dropped disc and 50 odd years to accept (stuff) happens (good or bad) and the only control we have, is how we deal with it. Looking forward to next Vid.
Glad you can still have fun at an arcade! For some reason all the differing button layouts reminded me of how Masahiro Sakurai can grip 4 controllers with two hands to play test smash bros characters. Maybe you can learn from his technique to work a switch pro controller better one handed. Though Sakurai is probably just a madman so it would prove to be difficult.
BPI haver from birth, your content is an inspiration even to someone like me. I hope you're able to keep reaching a wider and wider audience so game companies might start developing better one handed controllers
When i was in high school, i got into an accident and almost lost most of my fingers on my right-hand so couldn't play videogames for a while so genuinely made me get a trauma or fear of losing the ability to play videogames if i get to lose one of my hands or arms. My best choice for those days were arcade games like house of the dead and metal slug i only had my right thumb but it was a bit uncomfortable so i started playing having my palm over the joystick and using my fingers to shoot, jump and throw grandes ended up being really playable(i have big hands so i didn't felt that the buttons were unreachable)
Man I am so stoked to see you continuing this channel AND getting a sponsor! Also, as an older dude - arcades are awesome! I had no clue there was a Quake cabinet. You might actually see if Arcade 1Up would sponsor. Can’t wait to see if you connect with MS and Byowave. Oh and your edits and comedic timing are on point dude. 🎉
Arcades are the best! It’s nice to see them making a comeback, especially with all the vintage games. Too bad they haven’t been made with accessibility in mind. Glad you had fun trying them out though!
dude im SO glad you are doing well on YT! you first video just popped off an im soooooo glad it was on my feed man you are honestly inspiring man, you seem like nothing is holding you back an that's awesome to see i hope you keep doing well here on YT bc your videos are just so refreshing an joyful to watch!
Dude, you are AWESOME. Your editing style is so cool and funny. Even with only one arm, you're a funny youtuber and GOD gamer, dont let any disability keep you from doing what you love
the shirt you’re wearing in the mic part of the video is so cool!! please let us know where you got it! this video was so fun! your dynamic with chloe was also so fun. i laughed out loud to several of your jokes, you’re so funny and entertaining!
I'm hyped you're checking out that Byowave/Microsoft accessible controller. Saw it and immediately thought you and your channel would be super into it lol looking forward to the next video
the devious hands were hilarious lol. i love your sense of humor and your charisma, its no wonder how your channel has grown so quickly :) i look forward to your videos. keep up the good work!
Dude, I literally jolted off my bed when I saw House of the Dead. God, I miss that game. It never came to mind but most light gun games are one-arm friendly, so even after losing an arm, it doesn’t have any effect on enjoyment. :D
14:32 you can get a bit of mileage out of some arcade machines by controlling half of it and giving the other half to your friend. My dad and I used to go for that when I was little :)
Found your videos by accident. Weird to encounter a video where it was like "hey, I've actually been there." Anyhow - Keep on showing the world who is boss! Games should be for everyone, after all... and things will get better with people like you spreading the word and telling/showing game designers how to make things more accessible, what works, what doesn't....
Hi, I broke my arm last year and I love to play video games. While I was a onehanded I played Spiritfarer on Nintendo switch with only one joy con👍 I recomend
9:04 Fun fact about SmashTV: On the NES port of the game, you had to plug in 2 controllers to play the games, and each D-Pad would mimic the dual sticks from the arcade.
Yo I went there on my trip to Chicago. Easily the high light of my trip that place is huge and had so many arcade games that I didn’t even know existed. It even had my favorite which was an obscure title called Wizard of Wor.
That Karate arcade game is very similar to competition Karate sparing. As soon as one person lands a high quality hit, the round ends and point(s) are rewarded. Looks like translating it to an 80's arcade game with two joysticks isn't the best game design decision.
should prob use foot pedals for pc, could get like two or four foot pedals and set them up to do any input. so like they could take over for some inputs in counter strike like shoot and scope or something, and they could act as the two keyboard keys in osu, or anything else i cant think of. also driving games with a wheel could be easier to play, like trackmania, that could def be played one handed with foot pedals and a wheel. also could maybe try getting into thinking games that only require a mouse, like chess or minesweeper, i mean like i think games are kind of like the music we like, our preferences are more based on life experience and what niche we end up falling into, more than what our brain is innately likely to enjoy. so u could try aquiring a taste for more one handed games, along with more think-heavy/non-input-heavy games
Hi Bro, I actually still have both my arms but always wondered if I could stil be gaming after losing one, your content is very good, please keep it going, also, I have a question for you, you were left handed before losing your arm? cause if not, I figure the whole process would be even harder, can't picture mysel aiming with my left arm. Anyways, you're awesome, bro. See ya!
Go to displate.com/champutee or use code “champutee” for a sweet discount!
You inspire me.

BRother, can you not make your whole personality out of NOT HAVING a hand, like, its ok I get it you cope, but like making 4 vids for views
8:34 "It was made in 1979, before disabled people were invented." LOL😆
Yep, before then they were just not quite dead people.

0:18 the biggest loss: not being able to t-pose

I'm curious what the context for that picture was? I thought it was pretty funny and very fitting for the video.

You are quickly becoming my favourite RUclipsr.

Easily one of my favorite youtubers rn. Good editing, charm, humor, etc.
This man got a sponsor after only making three videos. That tells you the quality of this channel, I can't think of a single other content creator where that's happened.
didn't he also get sponsored in his 2nd video?
@@nixongamepl He did, but I just meant yet another one back to back already is just crazy.

All the way to the end of HR storyline? Massive respect.
8:33 "Not throwing shase though, it was made in 1979, before disabled people were invented" I love this humor
1:57 i love that when its his turn to play the jojo-esc game he puts giorno's theme and when its her turn he put jolyne's attention to detail 10/10
Happy to see The One Armed Bandit again
I used to drive past that arcade on my hour commute to work! Now that I know that DOUG WALKER was there, I gotta make a trip over there.
An HOUR?
@@Professor_Utonium_ I used to work full time at a warehouse to save up for school and get healthcare benefits

First Funky Fighter looks like the exact kind of game I'd end up spending a whole day sweating it up with. Monkey brain says "smack buttons fun!"
The switching to the Jolyne for your lady friend was a very nice touch
I have never seen such a hellacious karate champ beating
