That's great but apparently the guy was singing over the original music from the 1987 single though... He was singing live over the original backing... It's clear to my ears. Why on Earth ? Why wasn't it ALL genuinely live ??
George has mostly done songs live as he close as he could to the studio versions. I guess it was to save time and money and pretty hard to do without the gear he used back in the day. On the Cover To Cover tour it was all fully live.
