What is your dilution ratio for the Megs D101? In concentrate it has a pH of 13 which is one level below oven cleaner. At 10:1 the pH comes down to 11.959 which seems too alkaline for delicate interiors.
I love how direct and to the point this video is. You’re not trying to be a comedian and you don’t have some silly background song. It’s just you giving us tips and information on how to clean our cars. THANK YOU SO MUCH. You truly have no idea how much I appreciate this.
Pan TheOrganizer I wanted to learn how to detail my own car to save money. I’m so thankful I came across this video. I’m so nervous about doing it myself as I’ve never detailed before. I’m hoping it comes right. I do have a question. When I clean my windshield with the same product you used, I still see streaks afterward. What am I doing wrong?
You might need to degrease it first, with an all purpose cleaner and magic eraser. Always use dedicated glass microfiber towels (no linting). Then use a quality glass cleaner (like Stoner Invisible Glass) with a quality towel to do the final glass cleaning. What glass cleaner are you using? Also, check this video for my basic car wash tutorial: ruclips.net/video/PugdSwF9d9w/видео.html
OUCH. NEVER use household glass cleaners for car detailing. They often contain ammonia (which is bad for tinted windows) and are known to be very streaky. Use my favourite glass cleaner: Stoner Invisible Glass. Here's a link: amzn.to/2O3LnMO You can even use it for your glass at home, and chrome surfaces, etc. AWESOME.
I'm 54 years old, but I'm new to the world of auto detailing. I saw a video on another channel yesterday that compared detail sprays. The first comment below the video was from you; you wrote about your affinity for the P&S Beadmaker. For reasons I cannot fathom, there was a string of replies to you that honestly made me sick. They criticized you, they criticized the gentleman that did the video (which I found excellent and helpful, by the way), and they offered no helpful advice or content. May I just say one thing? Pan, you have been nothing but super helpful to me. Your shows are full of quality instructions and sound advice. I appreciate everything you do, because you are more useful to me than even the companies who make the products! Please keep doing what you're doing, and whatever you do, don't listen to the people who have nothing better to do than try and tear others down. Their tirades are patently false, and their bogus pejoratives are of no value to any of us. Thanks, Pan -- keep up the great work!!!
Hi Ted. Thank you for taking the time to give me this positive feedback and for your kind words. It means a lot to me. I'm blessed with an awesome audience on my channel and you guys have helped make my channel one of the biggest detailing channels on RUclips with nearly 200,000 subscribers so far and over 20 million views. Of course, with that size of a channel, there also comes challenges like some people just being jealous or simply others who don't appreciate my work or my videos. It comes with the territory I guess when you're on public forums. You can't stop human nature. What I don't appreciate is disrespectful comment or people who cross the line. And that's what happened on the channel you reference. One did offer his apologies after I responded. I think they weren't expecting me to see their comments. I'm all for people exchanging thoughts and opinions as long as it's done with respect and in a constructive way. But two of the viewers took it too far and thankfully, Jon from Forensic Detailing Channel, stepped in and gave them his point of view. One apologized, the other never replied. I call those "weekend warriors". People who sit behind their keyboards, with fake online names, and spread negativity for no apparent reasons. Sometimes they're having a bad day. But I shouldn't be on the receiving end of that. If you don't like my videos, just move on. I think we can both agree to that. :) That being said, thanks for supporting my channel Ted. What's your favourite video on my channel so far?
Ha! My favorite video? That's like asking what my favorite cut of steak is! ;o) Your tutorials, such as the paint polishing tutorial for beginners program, have been excellent! I also get a lot out of your full product line reviews, like the Gyeon, CarPro, Rag Company, etc. I've seen probably more than 50 of your videos, and I haven't seen a bad one yet! BTW, most of the products I've purchased are from Griot's. I'm getting ready to buy a DA polisher in the next few months, and I'd like your thoughts on the Griot's versus, say, the Rupes or MaxShine. Also, have you ever thought about putting out a handbook or manual that could take people step-by-step through each process of all aspects of car maintenance? Be it glass cleaning, tire polishing, interior cleaning and protecting, or paint correction and sealing, I know that would be a huge benefit to me! Thanks again, Pan -- you 'da man!!! @@PanTheOrganizer
Ted Merritt, I absolutely agree with you sir, I couldn’t have said it any better. Pans videos have been helpful to me n not only does he provide easy to follow instructions. But the methods n products he favors do actually work n protect ur cars interior n most importantly ur cars exterior (paint) cuz let me remind those that have forgotten or unaware. It’s important to know that any products u apply to cars interior or exterior may not damage instantly most products do most damage throughout along weather exposure, etc. That being said, Pans choice of products happen to be sum of the products I have personally used n I must add that they do do what they are meant to. And that’s clean n protect ur interior.. thanks Ted for ur insight n support and Pan u rock thanks for ur time n instructions for ur wisdom is highly appreciated.
You should do a video on interior maintenance for people with toddlers! Someone spilled milk a long time ago and the car had never been the same since.
Here you go again Pan! I just detailed my car interior last week, it sat in my garage the whole week, and after i watched this video, i want to do it all over again!
Ive been watching your vids and they have helped me to land a job as a detailer. Im excited to start my new career. Tomorrow Tuesday. Im on a 30day trial, but I'm confident ill be good by the time my probation is up.
I've recently been able to find a hobby to fill in my OCD habits which is to detail my car. I've seen many videos from different channels but yours stands out the most for me. I appreciate your opinions on products you use. It has definitely helped me with some of my choices between products and budget to choose from. The best part is that you do not talk too much about the detail and servicing. Some channels were talking too long explaining and I end up fast-fowarding a lot.
@@PanTheOrganizer started from regular browsing on RUclips. Searched car washing, then engine bay cleaning, then eventually detailing and then you came up on the videos suggested part. I just enjoy watching all the different products you use. Especially for someone who lives in a place without access to a hose. Sometimes able to visit my friends. You definitely have my support

I like your videos as well. But cleaning a brand new and clean car is easy. You don't need a lot of products. We need to see dirty interiors and no cuts to see results. Thanks.
I’ve just discovered your channel, this is amazing!!! I love that you go the extra mile by adding the product link depending your geographical location, as someone who does not live in the states this is incredibly handy. Amazing content, love how you have simplified the information & explained everything so well!
Hello Pan, I just want to thank you for your professionalism and recommendations. Without you, I wouldn't be aware of so many amazing products to clean and maintain my vehicle. Thank you for making this content and I hope you continue to educate me and others on car detailing. Have a blessed day.
@@PanTheOrganizer I really liked this one and the beginner budget interior detailing kit for under $200. I’m really new to this and I found them very helpful when trying to figure out what I needed.
I would want nothing less than what you offer to do this job. This is the best video I ever watched on cleaning an interior of a car. Hope I can find someone like this when I need my car detailed. Thanks for the heads up on what to look for.
I recently bought a new to me Tahoe. When I picked it up, I was shocked at the job the "Detail Shop " at the dealer did! Ridiculous! Now that I discovered your videos, my Tahoe is much cleaner. Thank you very much for your videos, they have answered soooo many questions. You're the man!
Great interior tips Pan! I really liked the Magic Eraser for the windows, and you are right about the build up of weird winter grime in the inside of the windows. And another tip for those that don’t have frameless windows like yours is to roll the window down a couple of inches and clean the top portion of the window first. This will remove the line of gunk at the top before you do the rest of the window. Keep up the great work Pan!
So ironic you posted this video today Pan! I just did my first detail job for a customer today and it went great! Your advice and inspiration is how I got where I am! Love your channel!

You have been rewarded for all your hard work over many years and being a true honest professional in your field. Pan TheOrganizer windex
OUCH. NEVER use household glass cleaners for car detailing. They often contain ammonia (which is bad for tinted windows) and are known to be very streaky. Use my favourite glass cleaner: Stoner Invisible Glass. Here's a link: amzn.to/2O3LnMO
You can even use it for your glass at home, and chrome surfaces, etc.
That being said, thanks for supporting my channel Ted.
Ted Merritt,
I absolutely agree with you sir, I couldn’t have said it any better.
Imagine doing all this work and someone starts eating chips in the passenger seat the next day
I would have a meltdown. Nobody is allowed to eat in my car.
One of my biggest pet peeves is someone eating in my car 😡😡
You should do a video on interior maintenance for people with toddlers! Someone spilled milk a long time ago and the car had never been the same since.
Eating in my car is a no no 😡😡
That somebody is getting pushed out on the side of the highway

I've recently been able to find a hobby to fill in my OCD habits which is to detail my car. I've seen many videos from different channels but yours stands out the most for me. I appreciate your opinions on products you use. It has definitely helped me with some of my choices between products and budget to choose from. The best part is that you do not talk too much about the detail and servicing. Some channels were talking too long explaining and I end up fast-fowarding a lot.
Thanks for your support and kind words!

Great tip Todd !! :)

Step 0, start with a pretty clean car
Sober Man I don’t
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I only charge $50 but do a great job lol. SUV $75. Maybe I'm selling myself short 😲
@@Ruffbone85 $50 for the interior only? It takes me about 4 hours to completely clean a car interior, but then again, I don’t think my Aunt cleaned her car interior in 2 years, so I had a lot of dried makeup, dirt, oil, and skin to clean off of every surface that was commonly touched.
Phenomenal, clear instruction. Thank you sir! Love that you show all the products one could possibly need to use and provide the links.
Glad it was helpful! How did you discover my channel by the way Kyle?

Many people who don’t own cars said they enjoyed watching my videos as there’s something therapeutic about watching someone detail a car.
Next, try watching an ASMR-style detailing video I made here: ruclips.net/video/maBAIUnpmg4/видео.html
Come forward now! Whoever gave this video a thumbs down!!!!
Hehe thanks for your support Mike! 👍🏻
Can’t say I agree with some steps, but I didn’t thumbs down it.

Hmm yet you come forward.. Feeling guilty are we?
It's a asshole born every 7 minutes....its obvious a few hundred made it to this post! Smfh
Right.. He killed this interior cleaning. Doesn't get any better you asked me💯
What an elegant video expressing the proper and sincere way to clean a car
Glad you liked it!
I like the way you make your video here so much more than other videos on youtube! No nonsense, to the point, very educational, thank you for helping by sharing the knowledge.

Thank you for the tips
My pleasure! Thanks for watching!
Thanks for this video, I was just looking for something like this! One question, I cleaned the windows but when one window goes up, I get streaks on the window (from the rubber seal I suppose) any ideas of how to clean the rubber seal?
That would be too complex. Just don’t roll windows up or down for a couple hours after washing a car.
Clear and concise,thanks
Thanks Daniel!!
Is the “chemical guys inner clean (For Canada)” a degreaser or an all purpose cleaner??
It’s an interior quick detailer. Closer to a light all purpose cleaner.
These videos are really good for people planning on starting a car wash business

Well done. Informative and efficient as Pan gets to the point, and there are many significant steps as you're aware. With significant, yet all important, content to cover, timing and structure have to work. This works keeping you interested. The content has the substance the video's portrayal and title suggest, Refreshing. Save time, start with this one, it may be all you need. I watched most of the rest related. I don't like to see time spent poorly. Just saying, not preaching. John Vox, CEO OomphSlinger
This is so fun to watch. I’d love to see you go at a car that’s been used for farm work. That would be so satisfying.
