Thanks Louis, my son and I put a different model hitch on my Outback, the rear bumper was removed it made installation much easier I think. I do want a video of you installing the wiring harness for the trailer lights. Please keep the videos coming. Your friend from Pennsylvania, Charlie😊
Louis, I forgot to tell you I won’t be driving out for you to wrap my chrome to black, but I may have my mirrors done 😂 take care, Charlie from Pennsylvania
Nice job! Very helpful video. Couple things I noticed: You had to enlarge the heat shield holes more than you originally cut them. Also, I'd recommend (strongly) nylon ratchet straps instead of that bungee cord! Those things dry rot and if it broke you might injure yourself or the exhaust system connections. How long did it take you? I noticed it got dark outside.
Hey Biff! Thanks for watching! I did indeed have to cut the holes a bit bigger. I believe it took me 4 hours but only because I would have to start/stop a lot for the sake of filming. It would of been 2 hours without filming.

No worries! Maybe next time! Thanks Charlie!
Luis, can one of these be installed on my 1979 Subaru Brat?
It's so I can move a 15-foot aluminum fishing boat a few miles.
I just looked up your car spec and unfortunately you’d have to get one custom Made for the brat! They don’t sell them out the box for your vehicle!
Thanks!
Thank you so much!!

Nice! Appreciate the video! How much weight can your hitch pull?
Thanks for watching!
It’s 4500 lbs!
@@Loubar87 i think its 3500 lbs
Can I install a tow hitch onto my 4 cylinder Subaru Outback? I hear you can only install a hitch onto 6 cylinder cars?
I installed a hitch on my old 4 cylinder with no issues. Power is going to be different and load capacity as well.
Where do i purchase the tool you used to remove the muffler from the brackets?
Here’s the Amazon link for the tool!
