    A great Irishman, I'd remember my Father with the radio up on his shoulder while watching the game on mute on the TV, Micheál's commentary was one of a kind.

      completely on the side: what fantastic language gaeilge for an absolute nonspeaker is. but it makes sense, the roots are there...."Dé" = deus = god, "anam" = anima = soul...
      and if its not complicated enough, every county basically has its own dialect of it! fascinating.
