Hey Metajoker. I just want you to know that I love pretty much all of your songs. I don't listen to your music all the time, but on the rare occassion that I do, it always gives me that wonderful chilly spine tingling sensation you feel when you listen to really good music for the first time. I've had 0:31 to 0:47 as my ringtone for a few years. :)
So I'm going to be perfectly honest. I was contemplating suicide just a second ago. I've been stuck under a abusive home with a drunkard of a father my whole life. And I was thinking about ending it once and for all, but I decided to listen to this song. Even though I haven't watched MLP in a while, and I don't really go into the fandom much. I went to this song and it made me remember, why I'm alive and why I fight. Thanks.
First off, thank you so much for your kind words; it means so much to know my little songs can have such a profound effect. There are many times in life where we feel trapped and alone, and music really can, as you say, help us to get past the darkest moments. If there's anything I want people to remember from me, it's that it's okay to be sad, and it's okay to want things to change, because in the end we can work past the hardest times and come out the other side all the stronger. Just know from me that you've got this musician rooting for you - don't let abusive or self-centered people ever make you forget how beautiful and valuable a person you are, and the potential you have. Again, thank you so much for your listen and thoughts, they are valued and appreciated. I can only hope to continue to create music that helps people to, as you put it, remember why we fight. Thanks for making a beautiful song. "And I'll leave you the world when I'm done." Is one of the most beautiful statements I've ever heard. It reminds us that bravery isn't always flashy or a big spectacle. It can be quiet and proud. A promise to leave the world a better place then you found it. Thank you for that.

I just love this song. I can't tell you how many times I've listened to it (well, all the tracks from Sisters United II through Second Chances II on your album). I didn't know this track was about Twilight in particular though. It's got such a great sentiment about it: Being so touched by the influence of your friends on your life that you resolve to make the world a better place no matter what may come.
Randomly had this song in my head. Didn't know what it was so put what lyrics I could remember in Google and got lots of mainstream nothing. Luckily search engines like Duckduckgo are much more friendly to independent creators and this came up first thing. Really great song!

Downloaded this song as a random shuffle in San Andreas. At first I kinda hated this song, mostly the singing and how it goes on and on for six whole minutes. But after listening a lot, it kind of grew on me. Not even like I just got used to it. It's more like the grating parts of it actually became the most endearing parts. I like it now. :)
This is the first one of your songs that I've strongly enjoyed from the first listen. It had a nice message and good lyrics, and over all, great! Anyways, time for my usual rude and opinionated review. The only real issue that popped out to me immediately was the "layering" of sounds wasn't nice. In the parts with only vocals and piano it was golden, but as soon as the guitar came in, it felt cramped and distorted. I don't know why, but it just seemed less clear. The guitar solo starting at around 4:00 had a bit of an AcousticBrony vibe. I liked it. I was probably complaining about extremely specific and hard-to-fix things, or stuff that no one else agrees with, but that's what I do. Stay awesome!
Bought the album on a whim a while back and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with the music and the journey it takes you on. Go listen to it people. It's well worth the time.
