I love the moment when the Riddler says: "Until the truth about our city will FINALLY be unmasked." When I saw the movie, it gave me chills but it also made me laugh. Frankly, Paul Dano deserves an Oscar for his psychotic version of one of my truly favorite Batman villains.
In this film i really like MORE riddler than batman, voice, act all thinks in riddler is a masterpiece, paul dano really deserve a oscar for this... just WAW!
I love his voice, before we hear his voice the Riddler sounds robotic and deep, but when we hear his real voice, he start sounding more human
I loved how they made him a straight serial killer. Se7en/Zodiac vibes. Paul Dano killed this role (as he does with all his roles) and I absolutely loved him as the Riddler. I hope he is an occurring role in the trilogy. I think he will be. Good edit.

fuck yeah. we all know how heros work, Batman too, but villains can have many many many different motives and this guy just blew me tf away. i sound kinda weird but honestly the bad guys are always more interesting than the good.

This was a true masterpiece I love how you portrayed his broken character and that was such an amazing choice of songs worked perfectly for him my favourite part of this "from your secret friend who which one is you haven't a clue" that was so brilliantly done made this ten times better and so original 💙

Do feel some sympathy for the Riddler. He is insane don't get me wrong.
I do! I mean even tho the guy is completely off the deep end at this point, you do get the vibes that he suffered some horrific abuse in that orphanage he was in.
Probably every kind of abuse imaginable. I think if a person lives through that they lose a piece of themselves. In Riddler's case he lost his sanity.
My image about the Riddler, is that the orphanage was not the only phase of life that affected him, Nashton Edward already had a disturbed mentality just living in an orphanage, he was abandoned by his parents, that creates in the mind from that guy a very great lack of empathy, and if we elevate that by counting the abuse he suffers in that orphanage, the precarious conditions and more, he created a safe zone in his mind that would only be broken when Batman talked to him, the riddler burned down his own orphanage, he already had these psyco characteristics of not caring about others, so much so that in the end he did all that in the movie for something personal, people who hurt him in a way, but that in the end In his view the mayor had a son and he didn't care, in the case of bruce "the son pays for the father's sins" in the bible it says the opposite "the son doesn't pay for the father's sins and the father for the son's," this clearly shows that all What he did was personal, and revealed when Batman demoralizes the Riddler by destroying that image of admiration he created about Batman, something an abandoned orphan would do too, was admire a superhero, but after his plans were interrupted by Batman, the Riddler will likely never forgive him, and as he sides with the Joker, we can consider that he's been corrupted since his first murder, something Catwoman thanks to Batman didn't do to look like Riddler. (detail forgot to mention that the final scene wasn't personal but an emotional action, he was feeling empowered with followers who believed in his methods, so someone with his mindset wouldn't have done less than start all that chaos with help of your followers.oh, and another nice detail of the movie, the selection of the songs Something in the way and ave maria were not random, the Nirvana song talks about abandonment, while the biblical song of a mother's love for her son, songs that make us think in batman and riddler)

I do... I mean he isn't just any serial killer killing random ppl. He WAS on the side of justice & yep that was a brutal but NECESSARY justice, especially in a place like Gotham. What Batman does doesn't really strike fear in the hearts of those who are truly corrupted & rotten from the core. They needed to know fear. They needed to know that someone's out there who will show no mercy. Who will bring out the truth in the worst way possible. Someone who they can't just kill & suppress like they do with anyone who tries to expose the truth. They'll be hunted first. The hunters will become hunted.

This movie was one of the most fun i've had in a superhero movie in along time. really felt gritty, something these cinematic universes are missing. i easily sat through the whole film. (which i usually cant for films of that length)
