How are you I love cars and I work with them and I love modifying a sports car a lot Your cars are very beautiful. Good luck, keep up the good work😉👍😘❤🙏
I blame the underglow for my battery dying. I wonder when I'll have to buy another- and YES I charged my battery multiple times before replacing- it was dead dead.
Every battery I've gotten from Costco or AutoZone or similar usually had at best a 50% charge in it. So I always bring it straight home and put it on the battery maintainer/charger and bring it up to 100% before I start driving on it. That way the alternator isn't strained to bring it up to 100%, the car's computer will be happier with a solid voltage and it won't have short charge periods during short drives that day. I also throw a battery maintainer on it so the computer's stored data doesn't clear out (especially the emissions data monitors) during the swap; easy to do and most can plug directly into the OBD port.
Good thing the civic didn't get that upset when you disconnected the battery to change it. Some cars throw an absolute fit if you don't supply power to them while the battery is disconnected.
On my friend’s Honda Fit the radio throws a fit when the battery is disconnected and you have to enter a code in to be able to use it again. The code is in the owners manual… so your out of luck if it’s missing and have to go to the dealer. Completely bullsh*t design. Never seen that happen on any other vehicle yet. Lol
My dad owns a 2006 Honda CR-V ex,same issue car won't run correctly and the radio is absolutely useless,, after swapping out the battery so they had to go back to the Honda local dealer and have them reset it and program a code into the factory radio and now it works like new..
Hi Kayla: If your replaced battery was the Honda factory original, they really don't do well in hot climates. Last Honda I owned was in 2011, but very surprised to hear yours has been unreliable. Every Honda I owned was bulletproof. You doing your thing again with a nice video. 👍
@@hi4429 You make a valid point. Personally only have trusted 1 used car in my life. My first car in college, bought from my dad. Every other car/motorcycle I have owned over the years has been new for that specific reason. More expensive for sure, but I just don't trust random people with mechanical devices. I am super anal about maintaining my stuff. Forgot that Kayla get her CIVIC..used.👍
I asked 20 people in costco parking lot for a jump one day, nothing but ignored then after a couple of hours a beautiful woman drove up and asked me if I needed a jump, lol so nice. Pretty girls broke down will bring a crowd.
I like girls who are into cars. Love a girl who works on cars. My opinion is it's not worth changing your own oil on generic cars. By the time you buy everything and get rid of the oil what did you save 8 dollars.
Very true. However, there are a lot of scams where they end up not even changing your oil or filter and just reset your car. Better to be safe and sorry and know what exactly has gone into it.
that has to be the least interesting video ive decided to watch. I dont even know what to say about this video. why not take us shopping to walmart and pick some Vitamin D?
How are you

Everything on a used car is only as good as the original owners care and maintenance of it 😉. No matter the brand.
