I am very over weight (never been thin) 50 year old and my period has been irregular off and on for the last 5 years. I know my irregularity has more than one cause; stressful life stuff. I would like some help deciding weather I should focus more on weight loss or hormone support. I feel like I need to do a little of both. I also have issues on and off with my thyroid my whole life. I feel longer fasts would be beneficial to repair but I also feel I need the hormone support. I feel better when I eat some sweet potato and squashes, ect. Thanks for all you do.
I feel like Im stuck on OMAD (not that Im complaining, I love it!) because I put weight back on the moment I dial back. The very day I go back to a slightly larger eating window I put on weight that takes me another 3 days to shift with OMAD. So I feel like Im stuck there or else I will never shift the weight! I don't mind at all but Dr Mindy seems to suggest that we need cycles of fast and feast to balance hormones. :(
If you are still growing, I would advise you to eat as much meat as you can. Skip the sugars and junk food but eat some steaks. Your bones are made out of protein and right now your bones need as much as they can get.

Hi good afternoon Dr. Mindy I'm on this journey to fast and heal my body so that I can become a better healthier me. So my question is can still take supplements while I fast. I'm 33 years old. Pre diabetic, high blood pressure and PCOS/PCOD. So with all that being said what is the correct way should I take the supplements or just let my body do what it does best without adding any chemicals.
@Sam Starr ok thank you I'm happy to know that because I wouldn't want to keep putting these supplements in my body when it really does not need any help to restore itself

How does fasting affect hormones if your thyroid was removed? What considerations need to made?
I would love to do your next fasting as a group
I bought the fasting like a girl book but I love to hear you Dr Mindy

I am very over weight (never been thin) 50 year old and my period has been irregular off and on for the last 5 years. I know my irregularity has more than one cause; stressful life stuff. I would like some help deciding weather I should focus more on weight loss or hormone support. I feel like I need to do a little of both. I also have issues on and off with my thyroid my whole life. I feel longer fasts would be beneficial to repair but I also feel I need the hormone support. I feel better when I eat some sweet potato and squashes, ect. Thanks for all you do.
Thank you Dr Mindy
#shackalakaboom💣💥 and #StayLegendary my fellow #fasters 💯💖🌈🤸♀️🤸♀️🤸♀️🤸♀️🤸♀️
Such a great video :) I like the high level and deep dives
God bless you. Thank you so much 🙏❤️
I haven't heard back about the resetting group
Thank you for the video! I'm working on all that. My question is, what is best for adding muscle as I go along?
I feel like Im stuck on OMAD (not that Im complaining, I love it!) because I put weight back on the moment I dial back. The very day I go back to a slightly larger eating window I put on weight that takes me another 3 days to shift with OMAD. So I feel like Im stuck there or else I will never shift the weight! I don't mind at all but Dr Mindy seems to suggest that we need cycles of fast and feast to balance hormones. :(
Love this
Hi Dr. Mindy😊
Big picture methodology is the way 2go!
I'm trying to use fasting to increase the man hormones and help me grow taller to, I'm still in my growing Yrs as a teen
If you are still growing, I would advise you to eat as much meat as you can. Skip the sugars and junk food but eat some steaks. Your bones are made out of protein and right now your bones need as much as they can get.
Thank you so much for the knowldge u share. Is there any possibility tht despite fasting 24 hr insulin resistance doesn't improve? Kindly adress the concern..thank you
God bless you Dr Mindy.
God bless everyone with in depth knowledge & analysis.
Can we drink warm water during water fasting for internal cleansing &can we add to warm water lime for speeding cleansing. As you said about warm water bath to burn liver fat at evening. Please clarify.

Is intermittent fasting the same as 16:8 fasting? And is it okay for a peri-menopausal woman to fast every day during Day 1 - 21? Or is every other day better? This was a very helpful video.
Dear Dr. Mindy. Thank you so much for your videos... Very educative. I have recently been diagnosed with underactive thyroid. Can intermittent fasting help me lose weight? As I am struggling to lose weight. Many thanks. Lilian (from London).
Great video
Thank you
Love from india..Tq you so much
How to fast during summer @Dr.mindy pelz
As always... it helps!💝
Dr. Mindy, thank you so much for your amazing videos. I am 59, had my total hysterectomy (my internal sex organs all out) last year, feeling fine, was postmeno already, taking HT, already practising IF 6/18 since 4 month, normal weight, doing strenght training and fast walking 10 k regulary. Could you please tell my target fasting method to maximise my benefit ? I love watching all your videos, best wishes from Hungary☺
❤Good video!!

What if one is hypothyroid but tests show normal. Doing everything one can possible do but weight not budging. Will fasting help with hypothyroidism?
I really like this
Hello Professor
Hi Mindy, I was diagnosed with HR2 positive breast cancer caused by my hormones. Do you have any suggestions for me because I refuse chemo. I want more natural approaches. I am fasting 24 hours.
Has there been any discoveries on this relative to hormonal acne? I suffer from this and am wondering if, once the fasting helps balance hormones, will it help treat and prevent or level out hormonal acne?
Hi Dr Mindy! I was thinking if you have a video about the relation between the hormonal acne and fasting, I've heard it's very good for that hormone imbalance specially after the 20's. I hope you can answer
Very interesting ❤
