    What AEM are you using?
If AEM 1… I recommend riding at higher revs. I set my rev indicator to 11,000rpm and ride above 9,000rpm (when possible) then shift at about 10,00-10,500rpm.
The bike loves it. And so. Will you

Hey! AEM 2.. I tried AEM 1 for a while and went back to 2. I felt like I could be smoother at 2. It was winter though when I was using 1. I remember being on some super tight twisties, it was cold and damp and I didn't like the abrupt throttle response. I like a hard hit on dirt but not street. I might try it again though. I have the rev light set at 10,200. It makes peak HP at 10,500 so I set it there so when I react to the light I'm right in the sweet spot. I mostly just go off sound though. And of course I'll short-shift it up depending on the corner. Like a long sweeper where you wish you were a gear higher mid-corner. I didn't know this road at all, so I was off on my shifting and line selection.

@@B-LeeRides yeh definitely take it easy on cold wet days. I also mostly go off sounds as well. And I will go back and give AEM2 a good go. I do find AEM 1 very aggressive. It suits my style of riding though

@ExtremaRider I always appreciate your comments. This makes me want to mess with settings again

@@B-LeeRides lol. You have made me want to play with my settings more. I haven’t had time to really try AEM 2 again. I will this weekend though. I rarely used commute mode now as I find there’s too much throttle lag with AEM 1. So I compensate by giving it more throttle.
Now use dynamic mode instead of commuting…. Definitely looking forward to trying AEM 2 with my individual settings. Thanks for. The advice.

What would have happened if there was a car around that corner? Or a bike coming the other way?
