Also the Smoke Grenades are made using lead. During Bruce's preparation to fight Superman, he made gas canisters that had the chemical symbol for lead printed on them. Also x-rays can't see through lead so Superman couldn't use his x-ray vision to see him.

I love the way this shows just how good Batman is at hand-to-hand combat. The dude is unparalleled. If he was born with superpowers he’d be almost unbeatable being that he’s a gifted fighter and a genius.

The line i assume is most likely inspired by Dark Knight Returns (As is what the movie is heavily inspired from) and Batman here is simply stating that Superman should be scared because he is powerless just like Batman.

I actually just realised how smart batman was being in his approach to this confrontation. He outsmarted Superman with ease; the reason hes smirking when Clark is being blasted by the rays isnt because he thinks hes winning, its because Clark thinks HE'S winning. The guns, the rays were all meant to be futile to give Clark a false sense pf confidence until he fired the Kyrptonite which Clark wouldve caught assuming "really?". 100 IQ.
What if Superman instantly breaks apart Batman’s suit after the rays ? Not so clever plan. Or if his gun broke when he was flying through that building

Even before the movie came out you knew that the only way Batman could fight Superman was by using Kryptonite. The trick was to have Batman use it in a smart and entertaining way which he did

The next time they meet is in the airport where the official first fight between them starts and he does try telling Iron Man that the doc is behind all of it. It just seemed like Tony was hell-bent on working for the gov he didn't care to listen. I mean there are a lot of ways and small things that could have caused them to not fight and the whole plot, yes, is a little forced but I just thought I should point out that cap not telling tony about the doc isn't one of em.

This fight scene is so underrated 🔥
Mind You, Superman still has Super Strength and Durability even after getting hit with the Krypt-Gas. He makes Huge Dents in Batman's Arm pieces after punching them and doesn’t bleed at all even after being Rag-dolled around. It’s really Impressive and It shows you that even with Powers you can’t outfight Batman when forced to play on Equal Grounds. Also one of the many reasons why Superman really Respects (and is kinda Intimidated/Scared) by Batman.
It’s not even equal when Superman is de powered he is weaker than a human arguably. Also no matter if he is de powered batman is still in a suit so it’s not equal grounds
It really is a terrible film. It was basically made for the enjoyment of people with the mental capacity of a child, who can't follow a truly interesting and complex plot.

Yo Batman's thing is that he is scared, he knows he's just a regular human with no powers at all, going up against villains who do, but he pushes through it anyway, thats what bravery is. Feeling the fear, and doing what needs to be done anyway. That's why Batman wears his biggest fear as his armor, because his ability to overcome it is actually his greatest power.

The smartest thing the Batman did was construct the proper suit to aid him in his fight against Superman. Going through buildings in his regular suit would've killed him.

For everyone who is saying that Batman would win this fight with prep time, you are missing the fact that when Superman was revived, he literally destroyed the rest of the justice league like they were nothing. Superman in some comics (depending on the writer) has faster than light speed ability, so he would not lose, ever.
However, the fact that Batman is nearly his equal despite being a human being is a testament to his work ethic and determination, which are inspirational qualities. However, he was taunting Superman after weakening him, and if Batman really was smart, he would realize that Superman is not a threat, but this scene just shows him to be an idiot.

This was one of my favorite movies, I loved the aspect that Superman didn't lose control and killed Batman out of anger because he can just kill him any time. But Batman as a human really embraced that "Men are brave" quote.
