      I also need to change the wiring harness to the left low beam light. I wonder if that could be causing my truck to act all crazy electorally and not start? or other problems I am having in my description above?

  • @patkennedy7333
    @patkennedy7333 Год назад +2

    That is not the starter fuse… In my 2013 the starter fuse is the 40amp one to the top right of the starter relay. Look up any 2007-13 1500 fuse box diagram.

    I think the 40 Amp green fuse is the fuse for starter

    • @jcalene
      @jcalene 6 месяцев назад

      Yes it is in a 2011 Tahoe! It is important to check the manual. 40A is the correct rating for the starter circuit.

      On my 2008 sierra the green 40amp is the starter as well

      In most cases it would be bad connection on your battery or ground. You may want to check it

    On my 2009 chevy Silverado I just replaced the flex plate and now the starter would work at times and wouldn’t so I would have to take it off and put it back on and it would work another 3 times and do the same thing and now I got a new starter and still does the same thing snyone have any idea what it could be ? Maybe the fuse or the relay or battery ? Anything helps 😢

    This may just help me with my problem. My gages will sometime get power and or radio or will do nothing at all and not start. other times the power to the gages will work but not radio and it will start and run just fine, sometime just my radio and AC will work but gages go back off, but it starts and runs fine. best case everything comes on and it starts and runs fine but I will almost always have to take of the ground wire and wait 10 secs. to 10 Mins. For it to finally start up one way or the other. One other thing I noticed. when it appears to be working and running just fine, the ac controls won't work or the volume on my steering wheel to turn down or up the radio won't work. This has been a HUGE STUMPER to me. I think it happened when I was jumping my truck because my battery appeared dead. Got a and I heard something pop electrical like a hot touching a ground from the fuse box or EMC area under the fuse box almost / Same general area for both. I will try these fuses tomorrow. ECM or says (PWR TRN) fuse and starter fuse. I already checked Mosty all of them if not all, but it wouldn't start for me after about 45 mins of taking the neg. battery wire off and on after work. Even tried to reset the EMC by connecting the hot battery terminal to the neg ground wire not hooked to the battery. after that still no power to the cluster gages at all sometimes I would get Radio AC cab lights windows would work as well but when i did get power to the gages they would just go back off. they stayed on one time, and this has also happened a few other times it would start then turn right back off or shut off...like no fule or something. - Reset neg battery wire and would work fine or reset again until it did. But now it won't. you get the picture!!! X my fingers for tomorrow. 4/27/22 ...

    • @awayne03
      @awayne03 2 года назад

      Also, I checked the wires at ground points and hot points from battery to other lead end and sanded the area clean. If the 2 fuses, I try tomorrow don't work it must be the ECM itself
      (Meaning the Computer Control module).

    I watched your video because my truck wont start... I think it may have to do with the gear shift indicator. Can you elaborate on that issue? My truck was working fine and now its not showing what gear I am in and wont start.
