  • The plaintiff brings her son to court. She says her son dropped out of school when he was 16 years old and started drinking and acting out. He went to jail several times and ended up homeless. The plaintiff says her son moved back in with her to help him get back on his feet, but now she’s suing for rent. The defendant argues he’s clean and sober now and is working on getting his life back on track.

This is a perfect case for women who are raising boys. No matter what the reason. You cannot give a boy everything that he wants when he asks for it. There has to be some type of consequences for his actions, and when he does good then you reward him. But you just can't give him stuff just to pacify him. Because what happens is he turns into a man, that expects everyone to give him something, and then on top of that he won't know how go get it himself.

in my opinion , a mother should not sue her child for rent , especially when she is not even a landlord , but his mom was living with him in her own house for goodness sake . i would understand if the defendant actually had cost her money , but he didnt because her rent or mortgage did not change while he was there . and why would u want to hurt your child's credit by having a judgement put on it ? i dont think thats love , i think thats jus a way to get money and by the way she never proved they agreed on 300 per month .
