Just want to say I very much appreciate the depth of your wig reviews and color comparisons. You even go the "extra mile" to show what the wigs look like worn different ways and taking time to set them all up outside so we can compare the colors in natural outdoor light also. Very helpful! 😊
You are so welcome, Ms Lacey Rose! I'm so glad my videos have been helpful! i appreciate the feedback and just knowing that I am meeting a need!! Thanks so much for watching and sharing!!! You have a great week! Hugs, Coco 🤗
My goodness, Coco! I had no idea how different the same color code could be! I know this was such an informative experience for both of us. Thank you so much! Love and blessings ♥️🙏
I found this video extremely informative and helpful. It’s so helpful to see them side by side. And that would explain why the color may be different when you order the same color on a different wig, wow. I did find that very interesting. Thank you!
Your videos keep getting better and better. Thank you (!) for going slow so I won't get dizzy. LOL A couple of ladies were insisting that Honey Rooted was blonde. No, it's brunette! Your outdoor side by side video helps decision making.
Hi Kathy!!! Thank you so much for being a part of this community!!! I'm trying to provide information that will be helpful for all of us in looking and investing in these wigs! We'll see you in the next video! Hugs!!
Thank you Coco!! Thia was so informative, much better than the swatch pictures online and in the catalog. I now have an idea on which I will be interested in trying. I did take a leap of faith and ordered Leslie and Rowan in the Vanilla Swirl color, thank goodness it turned out perfect but see ing the different colours like this beforehand is the best. Looking forward to your next one. 😊
Hi Sarah!!! Ooooohhh! I haven't seen Vanilla Swirl in person yet and have been so tempted to get Leslie--she looks like the kind of style I would like! So glad you found this helpful! See you in the next video! Hugs!
I am so grateful for this video as there are very few color reviews for Paula Young wigs. Do you happen to have reviews of non rooted blondes, too? This has been the most helpful in choosing colors for my next purchase... which is right now! Great sale going on, so thank you for your time and effort put in to reviewing and editing this vid. PS, Now... how do we get them to do a lighter root, like a 12 in JR's Malibu Blonde 12fs/12?!?! 😋🙂
Boy, if I knew the answer to that question I’d probably be doing something else besides making wig review videos!! Lol!!! So glad that you found this helpful and yes I have thought about doing another video on non-rooted blondes. But right now I’ve got about 12 other videos waiting to be edited and scheduled. That will take me through August into September before I can start anything new. I’m so glad that you stopped by my channel to take a look Christa! Thank you so much for watching and you have a wonderful weekend! Hugs and blessings to you!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
Wow, that was a REAL eye opener for sure!! I've never had a versa fibre Paula Young wig yet, so had no idea there was such a difference in the same colour code as the Euro line! I usually order the Sunkissed in the whisperlite wigs, but I think I would lean towards the Buttered Toast in the VF, because of seeing the differences. I especially appreciated you showing them outside in natural light, which is so important! Great information. Thank you for all your work in putting this video together! :) ~~M~~
This is another excellent PY resource on colors. It's fabulous how you've developed a structured presentation working from lightest to darkest. Invaluable! Also appreciate you calling attention to the differences of the same color combo in the different lines. You rock, girl❣️
Thank you so much for your kind words! I strive to make sense of a very confusing situation and it can be so frustrating to have all kinds of duplicitous information out there!!! I'm so happy you found it helpful and understandable!!! Hugs and blessings to you!!! ~ Coco
Thank you so very much. That was a whole lot of work…and greatly appreciated as well. Very interesting to all who wear PY as I am certain many had no idea of the exact color numbers/different shades. Great information and again..a lot of work and time on your part….thank you very much!
Thank you so helpful. I actually stopped buying versa fiber wigs. I think all their colors have a warm tone to them. Paula Young wigs are lovely and affordable.
Thank you so much for this! I've been wanting to see the differences of the blonde wigs just like you did. I have ordered many blonde wigs and chose some wrong ones. I can fix them to be fitting for me, but had I seen this video first I would have chosen differently. Thank you for your help! Now I'm wanting a Tuscany Toast wig lol
You are so welcome, Tamara!!! My apologies for not seeing this any earlier!!! Seeing all these blondes together was an eye opener for me too!!! But once you know, it's so much easier to know what you're ordering!!! Tuscany Toast is very pretty, indeed!!! Thank you so much for watching and being a part of this community!!! Hugs and blessings to you! ~ Coco
Valuable info, a very time consuming task! Thanks for taking the time to present an easy to understand video. I'm sure you have saved some of us time and money. Just wondering, maybe I missed it... which wig did you wear to the wedding? Amber from Oregon
Thanks Amber! And no, you didn't miss anything--I'm trying to collect some photos for a small wedding video. I wore Ashlee!!! Hope to post it soon! Thanks so much for watching and sharing!! Glad to see another Oregonian--Where are you???!!!Hugs!!! ~ Coco
Very, very needed video, thank you so much! Generally speaking, heat resistant fibers are more difficult to be manufactured in cool tones. I don't own one, but in the affordable line, Toni Brattin seems to do a decent job with her light blond.
Hi Mari! I thought it must be something like that but no one has ever mentioned it! Thank you so much for sharing and being a part of this community! Hugs and blessings to you!! ❤️❤️❤️
@@cocoshairsolutions Thank you, you are welcome! I hope to see your review of vanilla swirl soon (Rowan or Heidi), I haven't bought a PY yet but there are many of her pieces on my list.
My Question is: PY wig Rowan in color 1488A because it is in WhisperLite fiber , Coco will. it ALSO be different than the Euro/Versa/ Jaclyn shown above because it is WHISPERLite fiber?
Hi Ann! I've found that there really is a quality difference between all those kinds of fibers. And in fact, I know that many manufacturers use better (and lesser) quality fibers that can last much longer (or shorter)!!! Even wigs that all say they are made of Kanekalon are all a blend of different types of fibers and depending on the largest quantity of fibers in the blend, it can make the difference between those wigs in a big way. So, if you're looking at comparing the fibers of those 4 types that are in PY's lineup: JS, VersaFiber--which is heat friendly--Euro and Whisperlite, you're going to get a different blend with each one and especially with the VF line. They're going to feel different, last different lengths of time, hold their shape differently, lose their luster differently, respond to friction frizz at different rates respond to preventative treatments differently and deteriorate at different rates. And finally, color will appear to be different between the different blends of fibers because of the physical properties of each blend of fibers and which are the most dominant in that blend. I hope this answers your question. It can be a little crazy-making trying to understand all there is to understand about the wigs we wear! Thank you so much for watching and sharing!!! Hugs, Coco
@@cocoshairsolutions OMGosh many many thanks for you response. I am so thankful for all of your tutorials and review them often when I have questions. Wow Sandy, this is absolutely fabulous. Thank you so much for all this information you went well above and beyond I have only one question on the Tuscany toast colored wig on the euro line. Can you tell me which wig that is please? really loved it. Thank you so much again. ❤
Hi Suzanne! I'm so glad it was helpful! The wig in Tuscany Toast is Victoria. You can still get her from Paula Young! And Thanks so much for watching and sharing! Hugs & blessings!! ~ Coco
If you're talking about PY's SF12/28 Honey color, I would use at least a dark brown if you want the roots to be barely visible. I personally use black spray on my SF12/28 wigs in short brief "shots" of color close to the wefts to keep the color in a smaller area. That way it adds dimension without looking like there's too much root. It also disguises some of the "nesty" looking permatease and hides the wefts, too. I hope this helps!!! And thanks so much for watching and sharing! - Coco 🤗
Thank you. I wonder if you could do a comparison of the blonde shades using the rooted fibres against the same code but in unrooted? Also the same codes in HD and straight synthetic (non-HD) styles? I’ve heard that the shades are different depending if they are HD or not. Is there the same wig in HD and nonHD fibres? The colours can be so confusing
Hi Jill! That’s another video I’ve got on the back burner/in development! Usually there are not the same colors available in both HD and non-HD. There will be different blends. Also sometimes the single colors can sometimes look a little “flat” in dimension & color when compared to blended and highlighted colors, so they only offer blended colors or salon color treatments. That’s why knowing the numbers can be so helpful! Thank you so much for watching and being a part of this wonderful community!! Hugs!! ❤️❤️❤️
