  • Boris Johnson has apologised, at the UK’s official inquiry into the Covid pandemic, for the way his government handled the crisis. The former Prime Minister said it had "vastly underestimated" the threat posed by the virus.
    Mr Johnson admitted that as Prime Minister he should have realised sooner how serious the crisis was. He said he was sorry for the pain, loss and suffering of victims and families.
    Mr Johnson has been accused of lying about government decisions during the pandemic. It's accused of failing to protect elderly people in care homes. The UK suffered one of the highest death rates from Covid in western Europe.
    Mr Johnson was forced to resign as Prime Minister after it emerged that parties had been held in Downing Street in breach of the government’s Covid restrictions.

    He's apologised. Ah, I feel so much better about my mother dying in isolation because of the ban on visitors in nursing homes, knowing that he and his lot were partying away and laughing at us at the same time: that numerous lives and businesses were completely destroyed and changed forever. An apology from prison might do it - and while we're at it: let's not forget the part that the bbc and other outlets played in this as the governments' press ofiice.

      One word is suffice to show you that Lockdowns were not necessary, and in fact, did more damage than good: SWEDEN.
      The Head of the nation of Sweden's response to the pandemic knew that the Covid-19 virus, largely, did not affect over 99% of the population, and actually it was far, far better to follow the Swedish policy of letting the virus sweep through the population so as to let 99% of the population develop enough affective anti-bodies against the Covid-19 virus, i.e.Natural Immunity which has now been shown by multiple studies coming out of Japan and other countries to be far better than both lockdowns and the vaccine; through this Covid-19 enquiry we have learned that the heart of the problem was Chris Whitty's and Patrick Valance's thinking - they did not have the adequate training or wisdom to discern that the policy of herd-immunity would have been a far better response, and would have resulted in a much better result for the people of the United Kingdom, reflecting the good result that Sweden achieved by not locking down except protecting the most vulnerable, and aged of the population, while allowing the healthy majority of the population to just get on and make the wise decisions themselves. This should have been the U.K. 's better response to follow the Swedish policy, instead of relying on Lockdowns and the resultant horrific devastation of over 11,000 students who dropped out of the education system during Lockdowns, as well as spikes in suicides and self-harms, depression etc . Apart from the other davastion and misery visited upon thousands due to not working, and our economies, albeit destroying the hosting and entertainment business. IF WE HAVE LEARNED ANYTHING FROM 2020-2022 Covid-19 pandemic is that, IN THE FUTURE NEVER TRUST ANYONE WHO SAYS THE WORD, "FOLLOW THE SCIENCE" UNLESS THE MAJORITY OF SCIENTISTS HAVE COME TO A PEER-PRESSURED CONSENSUS. EVEN DURING THE LOCKDOWNS, THERE WERE OVER 100 OF THE MOST RESPECTED AND HIGHLY QUALIFIED PROFESSORS AND DOCTORS WHO WERE FROM HARVARD, OXFORD AND CAMBRIDGE WHO WERE SAYING LOCKDOWNS WERE NOT WORKING AND HERD IMMUNITY WAS A BETTER POLICY; THOSE 100 EMINENT SCIENTISTS ALL SIGNED "THE BARRINGTON DECLARATION'' SHOWING THAT THERE WAS A SECOND-OPINION WHICH NEEDED TO BE DEBATED AND NOT SHUT-DOWN, YET THEY WERE ALL SMEARED BY THE BRITISH GOVERNMEMT - in fact, the Secretary of State used his Parliamentary privilege to call for an emergency-statement and stand up in Parliament, unchallenged, and tell the country that they were all wrong, over 100 doctors and professors from OXBRIDGE AND HARVARD etc, when Mr. Hancock does not have even a certificate from the British Boy Scouts, as far as I know. WE HAVE LEARNED THAT NEXT TIME, WE SHOULD HAVE SCIENTISTS DEBATE FROM BOTH SIDES OF THE ARGUMENT. THIS COVID-19 GOVERNMENT RESPONSE WAS AND IS THE GREATEST CATASTROPHIC GOVERNMENT RESPONSE EVER VISITED UPON THE UNITED KINGDOM, AND IN HER HISTORY, WE ALWAYS LOCKED-DOWN THE SICK AND VULNERABLE IN A PANDEMIC OR EPIDEMIC FOR THEM AND FOR THE HEALTHY, WE NEVER LOCKED-DOWN THE HEALTHLY WHICH BORIS AND HIS TWO DOCTOR AND PROFESSOR DRS. DOOM AND GLOOM DID, ALWAYS FALSELY PROPHECYING THE WORST SCENARIOS WHEN THEIR PREDICTIONS ALL TURNED OUT TO BE WAY FROM THE TRUTH AND GROSSLY EXADERATED, AS WAS NEIL FURGUSON'S PREDICTIONS GROSSLY EXADERATED, PROJECTING 500,000 deaths, if we didn’t lockdown. THERE NEEDS TO BE SOME ADMITTANCE OF WRONG DECISIONS BOTH POLITICALLY AND SCIENTIFICALLY, AND THE STRIPPING OF A FEW KNIGHTHOODS, as well as a better response plan which has both sides of the Scientific debate listened to and fleshed-out as well as the Media, and Her Majesty's Opposition Parties reflecting this, instead the Mainstream Media of the British Bias Corporation, a.k.a. the BBC, ITV, and Sky News U.K. just acted as Boris' and Dr. Doom's and Gloom's "lap-dog calling for quicker and harder and more frequent lockdowns. I HOPE WE HAVE LEARNED GREAT LESSONS FROM THIS PAINFUL SCHOOL OF IMCOMPETENCY AND IGNORANCE, for the future and our new generations, and future generations.

We were told he would have a good team around him to cover his weaknesses. This clearly wasn't the case. So while it is tempting to blame one person, I won't. The system itself failed. There was no plan available, insufficient resources for PPE and other equipment. Insufficient bed space in the NHS. Not enough care home staff. The list is long and it is rather simplistic to blame one man, who get elected in December and was dealing with covid in February.

    Boris Johnson was also responsible for Prolonging the Ukraine conflict, Both Russia and Ukraine agreed to a Peace deal in march 2022 this according to Davyd Arakhamia who is a close associate of Zelensky, Johnson prevented that deal on behalf of the Military Industrial complex of America and its allies who wanted to make money by prolonging that conflict.

    • @veritas2222
      @veritas2222 Год назад

      I am skeptical of this claim that Johnson prolonged the Ukrainian war. Biden has been extremely supportive of Ukraine and both he and Zalensky want a meaningful peace, but not on Putin’s terms. The weapons they are receiving from the U.S. are not the latest and greatest, but rather, surplus and stuff retired by upgraded versions. The forces prolonging the war are coming from Russia and its allies. Boris may be an idiot; I just don’t see him being cunning or motivated enough to meddle with a peace deal for Ukraine at the very beginning of the conflict. That deal would have been for an all-out surrender of Ukraine, and yeah, I hope Boris would have aligned with Zalensky and the western leaders of NATO to vote against that.

    • @SarahHope883
      @SarahHope883 Год назад +1

      There’s differing opinions but the general message I’m getting form the Inquiry is that because lockdown was implemented so late it had to be a hard lock down.
      If measures were implemented sooner eg border control, cancelling super spreader events in Feb and March, discharging people to care homes in early Feb rather than late March, the virus wouldn’t have spread so quickly and the spike on the curve might have been shallower. So a softer lockdown might have been possible as well as fewer deaths.
      It seems Covid wasn’t taken seriously enough in early 2020

    • @yvonnesanders4308
      @yvonnesanders4308 Год назад +1

      If anything you want super spreader events whilst shielding the vulnerable.
      Community spread builds herd immunity whilst those at risk are protected.
      The problem was you had competing agents in government and the civil service and the press whipping everyone up to a frenzy

    • @SarahHope883
      @SarahHope883 Год назад +1

      @@yvonnesanders4308 with respect I have to disagree here. With a novel virus you don’t want super spreader events and a heard immunity approach because you don’t yet know who is vulnerable. We found out later that the elderly and those with pre existing conditions were the most vulnerable groups but the next highest vulnerable group to acute covid were men in their 50s and 60s. And then the most vulnerable group to long covid were middle aged women but this wasn’t properly investigated until a year into the pandemic.
