I am so happy I came across your channel, I am an English language teacher from Bosnia, and I actually teach the English language online to Japanese people for like 4 years now, and I am very interested in the lifestyle there. I love cycling too,so this is like the perfect combination!
I absolutely enjoyed this sakura video. Please film more while they last = ) BTW looks like you are getting used to pan and reframe the 360 video, kudoes!
wouu , nice weather , here in Denmark we just had 2 wonderfull days of spring weather with around 17 C and sunshine . but tomorrow at April 1 St. we are back at 8 Celcious-
@@TwoWheelCruise Thanks. I’ll go for a gentle ride tomorrow and see how I feel. I’m treating it like a taster of the real virus, and I don’t want to rush back to exercise and cause more problems.
Cherry bloom season is just starting here. It's the Forsythia bushes that are now in full bloom in NJ. Even the evening temperatures no longer dip below 0 degrees celsius. So the gardening season is gearing up.
I discovered your channel a few days ago..., very interesting and beautiful video. I feel like I am in Japan 👍, you made me thinking about made some similar video about the Italian small ancient villages where I live 😅😅, you make a really nice job!!!
Wonderful bike tour of the cherry blossoms. I enjoyed watching how you edit your Insta360 One X2 video because I also use one on my bike rides. I hope you continue using that camera on rides.
Lovely ride and absolutely stunning cherry blossom in bloom everywhere. Used to have one in my garden in the UK which was spectacular when blossoming in early spring. We have something similar here in Malaysia which is just ending its blooming period now so the pavement ( sorry, sidewalk to you guys) looks like it's covered in snow where the blossom is falling from the trees. Very pretty nevertheless. Take care guys and stay safe 😷🚲🇲🇾
Paradise! That backwards view is trippy. I bought a sports mask but gosh, I’m still scared to go cycling, I feel like we should avoid going out ever but I know that’s irrational.
Beautiful ride-around, love the cherry blossoms. Nice job with the Insta360. I had one of those (Version 1) but I sold it because of post-processing was so difficult. Looks like you're getting good results from it.
Nice ride, I need to ride through my neighborhood's cherry blossom trees. Hopefully today and tomorrow's storm doesn't blow them all away. I'm also warming up to Insta360 shots. In the test shot videos, there were lots of 180 degree pan when showing what's in front of you and yourself. In this video there were more cuts, which seem less jarring. Are you doing the cut edits from the phone?
I remmber when i was in high school and i was biking and a tree here (not cherry blossom) drops its petals and i swallowed one 😅😅😅 that was fun and terrible at the same time 😂😂
One question I have is who picks all the cherries when they are ripe. If they are left to drop, then the pathways would get pretty messed up. Great video
I missed you two. Been out of town on business. But I did have my mountain bike with me so that I could ride in Florida. Unfortunately, the Florida ride will be the last for a long time. I came across a snake in the road and applied the brakes too hard, which threw me over the handlebars. Severely sprained a wrist and broke my arm! The snake survived. John
If you want you two could stream live on Twitch it is such a great platform and a lot of people would enjoy watching it and still continue to upload videos here just giving you an idea :) keep cycling in Japan !
Hey Cruise, Once again thank you for the ride videos. the previous long one I got 3 rides (RUclips remembers where you left off.) out of on the recumbent nautilus. I am also a subscriber to nanana's channel and was pleased to see the collaboration. She has been using the X2 on her handle bars and have considered copying her setup for riding the fat bike on some upcoming trips I'm planning on Sedona trails. But, I have have lots of questions about the insta 360 X2. I thought you mentioned it doesn't film in 4k but the advert states 5.7k. (so I'm a bit confused.) and placement... do you put it longways so that the lenses are pointing to the bikes sides? trying to keep this brief but just 1 more tidbit. being a student of Japanese, cant help but notice how you speak as fast as a native speaker, I appreciate the subtitles which I'm sure is a pain, but if not too trouble some hiragana to decipher what your saying sometime would be awesome. And yes, I learned my directions (Migi, hiradi, mastugu just from watching your videos) :) TY!
It's a great camera for cycling. The 360 video file is 5.7k, but when exported to a regular video file it unfortunately only goes up to HD, not 4k. I angle it so one of the lenses is facing me directly and forward.
Not sure if you've heard of the hygiene hypothesis, it's a super interesting theory. It suggests that people in more developed countries have more allergies because their living environments are so clean. When people's immune systems are developing as children, they don't need to respond to as many bacteria and parasites as our ancestors did and so the immune system just looks for other random things to respond to, like flower pollen. It's notable because Japan is seen as a one of the cleanest countries in the world. Anyways, beautiful video as always 😍
Thanks! It's definitely true to some extent. There are lots of people with weak immune systems here and I think a big reason is because things are too clean at times.
Good day to you both. Tell Thuong sorry I haven’t commented on her vids. A couple of days ago I had my first COVID vaccine. Most people say they didn’t get symptoms. Then I came along. It knocked me on my butt. I felt terrible. Anyway, love the video, and love Thuong’s pink jersey. It would have been great if both of you sported one. Ride on. Much mahalo.
They don't have the stripes in smaller intersections like this, but it is a scramble style with all of the pedestrian crossings activated at the same time.
Thanks a lot Cruise & Thuong for the nice video; hope you're not cycling with mouthcaps on, that's dangerous & they doesn't work against virusses ! greetings from The Netherlands.
I'd try to work in the "natural" shot in the insta 360° studio in your videos as much as possible: what I've found to work for a few of my vids. Of course you can scroll back a click or two.
@@TwoWheelCruise natural view and then you can zoom in a few clicks. I was messing with a 1 by 1 aspect ratio and it worked really well. If you have a 2inch I'd think about linear. The fisheye and other modes are great as well.
14:08 whats that old man upto?? ...did he cover his mouth because he saw u guys? lmaoo that was weird also yeah it seems like a good idea to have 360 on short interactive rides and gopro on long rides so we can watch it on the trainer and get the feel of riding along with u guys
The 360 camera sometimes gives a weird effect (like at 9:25-30). It looks like Thuong is vibrating or is superimposed on the background. No biggie, just something odd.
I was wondering about this too, since I'm on the fence about buying the One X2. I didn't notice it on a previous video, perhaps this effect is more pronounced at 60fps vs 30?
I don't know the laws where you live or level to which they are enforced but enjoy the ride a bit more and take that mask off (keep it in ya pocket). Your not gonna spread it or catch it on the saddle. Love seeing where you live! Keep it up, 360° cams rock! 🤙

That gold jersey looks fantastic 👍Thanks for sharing the Sakura with us...
Wow, It’s my home town! Thanks for the “hanami” update mate, I couldn’t go back Japan more than a year due to COVID. Regards from Australia.
Wonderful vlog!
The ride is relaxing, thank you for showing us the sakura flowers, they''re so pretty! :)
Sakura are so early this year! Thanks for showing them. It is amazing what you can see on a bike in Japan. - Love the pink jersey.
Another sign of climate change
Sakura looks lovely there in Japan:) Thanks for sharing. I also love to enjoy cycling around cherry blossoms like this video. Cheers.
I think you edit in post very well! I enjoy the relaxed style, too.
Glad you enjoy it!
Such a beautiful day for a ride! Thanks for filming it. Cheers :)

Lovely video as always! Thank you.
Nice video again. Japan is such a lovely country.
It really is!
I know the chest mount is kinda uncomfortable, but I love the perspective a lot more
Will be doing both, that one more for longer rides
Beautiful, I saw this on the news yesterday.

A nice rad ride! I would burn rolls of color slide film if I was there watching the sakura bloom!
Relaxing ride. Nice tour even though Im at my house.
Beautiful
Thanks for the usual feel-good video. I’ve been dealing with vaccine side-effects for the last few days so this helps :)
Hope you get back to normal soon! My sister also had some bad side effects from it, but is good now.
