Navankar bhai that is what exactly happened to me. I went for the interview in 2018 They asked me 4 questions 1. What do you do 2. What country have you visited 3. What is the reason of travelling to those countries 4. What is the reason for travelling to US. And my interview also lasted for 3 minutes 😂 And I was denied too
One of the major reason your US visa got rejected was your earlier rejection of Australian visa. The big 5 - Canada, US, Singapore, Australia and UK have a common sharing data and any Visa getting rejected in any of these countries marks the person under red flag. I am from Australia and aware of certain laws.
I had two refusals from canada and now i am going to apply for US interview and they ask me to hide my masters and will apply US interview on bsc degree but the fact is i showed my master degree for the canada now I am confused is it right to get interview on my bsc basis
Some points I feel would have helped getting the visa (assuming an unbiased visa officer): 1) Language: I think the rate of selection of those giving interview in English would be higher due to first impression of being confident in English. 2) Funds: US generally requires you to have funds comfortably enough for a US trip rather than just enough. Also you mentioned that your parents will fund you "in case you have some shortage of money" might have given the impression that you are likely to fall short of money. I feel it would have been better if you had mentioned your parents are fully funding your trip (along with their bank details and relevant documents) since their salaries would be higher than you therefore giving more confidence that you have enough money. Along with that, channel income as additional income. 3) Assumptions: Although you would be using hostels, couchsurfing, airbnb or other cheap options for your stay, the visa officer assumes hotel stay price for his calculations to determine whether you have enough money. This could be the reason why the visa officer felt you wouldn't have enough money while you thought otherwise. Also the cities you mentioned are among the most expensive ones.

I guess the reason why he was not selected is because interviewer does not felt that he would able to finance his trip as he also mentioned to visit Las Vegas. And also interviewer would have felt that he is not genuinely interested in visiting American by his answer of "purpose of visit"
Sirji, I agree with you, Hamne sabse jyaada chadake rakha hey USA ko. I have seen these kind of long and long lines in Mumbai. Go to some other country where we are respected. In some countries Indians are really respected. and we will respect them and start go there.
U r not alone, once I have read even our railway minister Shri George Fernandes was made to take out his pants in checking at us airport, so I think us is worst country, u can see racism over there
Sir, Getting Usa visa is not an ultimate destination , Yes i would like to touch one of the important aspect of psychological aspect of our societal behaviour, and even u may have experienced yourself. The general belief in the society is that American educatiin system, their lifestyle and security is much better than our own country. Which many times disappointed me. We need to see our society in broader spectrum . We are best in education, culture, tradition etc. So Dear the rejection from so called intellectuals should not demoralise the confidence of any one. Be postive and be Confident We should always have a dream and work for its reality that one day there may be reverse brain drain and we feel and give pririoty to our own place/ country rather than sacrifice our own self esteem for sake of money. Trust me there is nothing outside this country which we cannot achieve here. DR. SANJAY MATTOO
U r not alone, once I have read even our railway minister Shri George Fernandes was made to take out his pants in checking at us airport, so I think us is worst country, u can see racism over there
I had this experience due to my look at panvel local train station. I have grown my hair and not shaved. police came to me and asked questions couple of questions like why I came to panwel? Where I am from? Kind of basic questions. But that day I felt that at some place grooming is important else everyone will misunderstood with the naksals or terrerist.
@@navankurchaudhary8038 I agree, but kya kare jo log samj lete hai uska kya kare, khali me apna time bigadta hai. V informative. U are exactly right. Mine USA was refused 3 times from London. I visited Japan, New Zealand, Canada, Germany, Switzerland, France. I live in U.K.. they only give visas to those who intend to go and work in USA. If u are genuine visitor they refuse. They choose wrong
I have some other points to add to this topic. It is not about bhav bhadane wali bat bro. Every country has a set of procedures and we have to respect that. Our country India also has a lot of procedural delays in most of the things even for Indians. Shakal wali baat is not true to a great extent unless koi alag se rockstar ban ke nahi ja raha hai. (I have seen someone in the embassy wearing flashy clothes with a lot of gold chains and all). We might think they have not seen anything while interviewing but they actually do. If anything a person says which doesn’t match with the information in the form is definitely a red flag. Other thing is as you also mentioned about people coming through Mexico route. Illegal immigration is also a big factor for extra scrutiny and due to this even genuine people have to suffer as happened in your case. Intent of coming back to the home country is what they mainly want to see during a tourist visa interview. Unfortunately, a lot a people work illegally on US tourist visa (B1/B2) and even worse they stay back even after visa expiration. Due to this people who genuinely want to visit and travel face the consequences. I shared my perspective as I think these things are also important to consider while discussing this topic. The information could also help some future US visa aspirants.
Trump administration was always in favour of stricter immigration rules. Whenever a rule was passed especially regarding H1-B visa, Indians used to sweat out. Now the new government has reversed everything.
For all those who have gone through rejections or plan to apply for visas to first world countries. The most relevant aspect is how well you are anchored in your home country. 1. They want to be sure you are not immigrating in disguise and have strong reasons to be back. Second is financial backing, part of which is linked to point 1. 3. Be honest. Your interview is a mere 20% of the decision. An extensive background verification is usually already carried out before you see them. This is why submit only facts in the form, facts which can be verified by a third person. If you are a student, say so. If you're working, give all the info about employer. Embassies have a battery of staff involved in processing visas. US being in high demand, you can expect scrutiny. This was through my personal experience applying for visas to various countries including the US. Although I am no expert, hope this helps. Safe travels!
the students who visit usa for studies and eventually end up applying for permanent residence, do they also state that they will return back to their country or what is the statement?
5:50 "Apne hi desh me" Embassies and Consulates are considered as foreign soil... they belong to the country whose embassy/consulate is situated there and it's governed by a lot of international laws and treaties....
you have to learn the process, the visa for tourist is based on an algorithm, at a current point of time, the only limited visa is issued. and following that based on situations. for example, if you want to attend an event, conference, marriage, etc. as you mentioned you are going for visiting and tour... it becomes nonpriority for them. They already have enough tourists in that time frame in the US. The amount of people who wants to visit the USA is triple compared to Israel, you are comparing tomato with potato. Secondly, the US is not a very tourist-oriented country, Europe is... The USA is more business-oriented, anything that makes business sense, or professional need is considered on priority hence all the people visiting for meetings, seminars are preferred because they have an itinerary. You told him about which places you wanted to visit.. if you could have given him your travel itinerary.. high chances of approval even in case of tourist visa because it should you have business sense. Desi bhasa mae hr launde ko bhejne late USA tho, USA India bnjayega... kyoki hr indian ko USA jaane ka but shawk hai. The Line that you mentioned is due to the demand of people wanting US visa. the more the demand, the strict the rules to maintain system and prevent chaos. Its so evident, that he is interviewing 100 people in a stretch and you go to his face and say Uncle mjhe USA ghoomne jana haii kyo jana haii... bs avaiiiii tho cancel hoga hi visa...
US ambassy ka jo area hai, vo US ki dharti kahlata hai. Athart delhi (chanakya puri) me jo ambassy hain vo usi desh ki dharti kahlaati hain. India ki nahi.

The USA Embassy rightly rejected your visa application. First, because you concealed the fact of your being a medical student from them, something you should not have done . Secondly, being a you-tuber, you may pose security problem by filming their vital installations and making the video available to all and sundry on the you tube.
The US Ambessy do a thorough check on you even before you enter their premises .They know every little detail of you as they go though your social media . This is what I was told at the US counslate in Mumbai back in 2018. Next time if you want to apply for one do disclose all your details and try not to be nervous and also if possible try to tell everything in extreme detail cause this will make them believe your story. As it's USA they have to take ultra precaution because many Indians (10%) who go on tourist visa end up working illegally in US or try to sneak into Canada.
They only look for "Immigrant Intent" especially for young applicants. You should have a mentioned Medical Student undergoing classes. Surely, you have to then give leave approval from Medical school. The look for strong reason to return.
I understand your frustration but no one forcing some one to apply and pay the embassy fee. We should understand well before applying that there is a chance of rejection and prepare for it in advance. As for the guy in the video, I think he has the inferiority complex. No one judge you by your face. Personality on the other hand plays an important role. The interviewer try to judge you from your behavior and answers whether you are a genuine traveller. But they are also human so they make mistakes. But I think confidence and preparation is the key to cracking this interview.
@@UnmeshaMishra They know. They have enough data at their disposal. Govs share data as well. One Google search can tell you what someone does. In my experience with US visa, the decision is almost already made. They ask very basic questions which obviously seem like they're screening for honesty. No way they don't know answers to what they ask. Just be truthful. It's the same at immigrations.
@@UnmeshaMishra they do background checks thats why they dont ask for any documents they already have everything otherwise anyone could lie and fly away to USA
Most important for US visa if you are young man/woman: You need to prove you have reason to come back such as you have permanent job and property. If not, you will be straight away rejected.
Bhai Australia is a good country, I am here since 2008. If your documents are right, you will get visa 100%. As per my experience, in Australian nobody will reject your visa on your looks.

Same thing happened with me as well bro...back in 2016....i had to wait outside in queue for at least 1.5 hours and the interviewer asked just 2 questions - What do you do and purpose of visit....even though I had genuine invitation letter, my visa was refused. Interview finished in less than 2 minutes
Whoever is planning the apply for B1/B2 visa , don't try to lie while filling application form. The moment you submit online visa form your background checks starts. Somehow the embassy has all access to your information. Physical interview is just a formality and the decision is already made whether to grant you the visa or not.
I applied for US Visa in 2018 as I wanted to visit the US for a conference. First time: It got rejected. Even my collegues couldn't figure out the reason as I had a valid reason to visit the US and I had to finish my PhD so coming back to India is important and hence, shows strong ties. What I concluded from this experience and the following reasons might caused the rejection. 1. I couldn't show strong ties in DS 160. As far as I remember, you can only list down the points showing strong ties if your visa is rejected before. And in the interview, I somehow couldn't say that. 2. My entry city was not the same city where the conference was scheduled. 3. My attire was not formal. 4. May be luck and mood of the interviewer. 5. May be confidence. 6. Interview was only for 5/6 minutes. Asked purpose of visit, my research is related to what, persons I know in the US, where you will stay and for how long. I applied again after 10 days with the following changes and this time, I got the visa. 1. I mentioned all the points in DETAIL to indicate strong ties to India. MOST IMPORTANT as you cannot say all this in interview. 2. Told specific number of days of my stay, hostel name and made the entry city as Chicago in the new DS 160. 3. Formally dressed. 4. Interview stayed for hardly 2 minutes. The interviewer was friendly and chill. 5. Was relaxed and confident. Conclusion: I know it hurts a lot when your visa is rejected. Especially the visa fees. I wasted in total Rs 15000 (travel and visa fees) and I was a student at that time. However, the learnings were immense. For 10 days, I researched almost everywhere for the US visa videos, blogs, quora and what not. I was continuously thinking why it happened and why me. But, when I got the visa after all these struggles, I was delighted and grateful. Getting the US visa is tough, but not impossible :) I helped my 2 friends to get the US visa in first shot :D
Don’t worry you can try again after you travel some other country’s. I am in USA for more then 35 years and I own 2 companies so I can help with invitation latter and also for your stay because I own 2 timeshares .
yes.. very harsh usa embassy... i suggest use 'doctor' profession as introduction everywhere... people of older generation generally do not understand concept of vloggers and travelers ... best of luck
@navankur, I got my US visa in a single shot as I had travel history in schengen area. Interview process was pretty simple, Interview time:- 1 min. Questions asked:- 4 1. Purpose of visit? 2. Location of visit? 3. Funds of trip? 4. Purpose of travel to schengen area? Verdict: visa is approved. P.S. Applied in delhi. Process was smooth. Though I could see from the faces of people that rejection rate was high. God knows the exact criteria but I guess travel history matters the most. Based on my experience and my friend's visa experience(may be wrong), they were not convinced and worried that you might not have strong ties in your home country and may not return, as many people have travel US like this and have not returned.
You told he asked two questions only, After your first answer there was no need of second question. He asked you second question only to be polite to you . First answer was more than sufficient for visa rejection. Now you are just satisfying you ego.

Bro, you did any mistake in visa application form you have need to study carefully DS-160 form and try to understand what mistake you have done in your visa application form other wise you can join Face book account of US Embassy New Delhi I am not sure but either Thursday or Friday you can talk directly with Consular officer through chat or you can leave your query at their webpage. Good luck
Sometimes it’s all on the visa officers mood, I think he was in no mood to give you the visa when you already told us he didn’t even check your passport. This means he wanted to reject you before you even started the interview.
If I Was the visa officer and a 20 something unmarried guy who looks like a homeless person came to me with attitude, who has lied on his visa application by not disclosing that he is a medical student, who considers a piddly little youtube earning to be stable source of income and does not have a stable job, chooses to give interview in Hindi, doesn't show any bank statement proving that he can pay for himself and above all shows NO ties that would make him come back to India... then I would ALSO NOT bother to open the passport and slide the "Sorry you are rejected" form letter through the glass partition... LOL
Are bhai, basic samazo...US Ghoomne ke cheez nahi he. Aapki professional approach zaroori he. Hope you don't loose your money in next try . Better luck brother..
Bro you shouldn't have lied about the first question, you are still studying right? So you would have wrote it on the visa form. They just caught you lying or should I say hiding information. I know USA is over rated but they too have their rules and norms.
You are nice guy......you look awesome......'beauty is always in the eyes of beholder'..... don't demotivate yourself..... always stay self-motivated........! there must be a better plan ahead wait for right time.....!👍
My student visa was selected..and it took 35secs .. they don't care abt anything..it all depends on visa officer's mood. Also...this is not true that jinki jobs nahi hai wo US jate hai..I had a good job in india ,but I went to US for education and now I'm working. Although I agree, that visa process of US is horrendous
I feel as a RUclipsr, you should be careful with the information you provide. You said you didn't want to tell the visa officer that you are a student as you didn't want to go through the hassle of getting NOC or other required documents. I feel a few of your viewers might get encouraged to hide information in their visa application or interview and lose an opportunity to get a visa. You should always encourage your viewers to always provide accurate facts and information and not hide anything when applying for a visa and in a visa interview, whether you get a visa or not. Willful misinterpretation in visa application/interview is considered a crime. I hope you take my comment in a positive way.
Yes bhai first visit Australia, Canada, Germany, UK at least once.. And then US Embassy will give you 100% visa. Also consult with Mountain Trekker he can suggest you. . Why should a country not return visa fee if not selected. They may deduct a processing charge.
And clearly you didn't understand it 🤦♂️
Indian embassy doesn't return it either... Tit for tat...
Be postive and be Confident
We should always have a dream and work for its reality that one day there may be reverse brain drain and we feel and give pririoty to our own place/ country rather than sacrifice our own self esteem for sake of money.
Trust me there is nothing outside this country which we cannot achieve here.
DR. SANJAY MATTOO
Sanjay Mattoo Sir, very nicely explained.

I had this experience due to my look at panvel local train station. I have grown my hair and not shaved. police came to me and asked questions couple of questions like why I came to panwel? Where I am from? Kind of basic questions.
But that day I felt that at some place grooming is important else everyone will misunderstood with the naksals or terrerist.
agar kisi ko bomb blast karna hi hoga toh shave karke aa jayega Jesse kasab aaya tha isliye looks pe jaana chodo aur apni intelligence pe dhyan do

Why we should go to USA...
foreigners make fun of Indian visa website. Almost impossible to fill according to them
my earlier b1b2 had only 6 months validity ..usually people get 10 years..if people dont misuse their tourist visa can they get 10 years next time?
@@gagandeepsinghtalwar2498 Usually people get 10 year multiple entry visa and 6 months is the maximum time for each visit.
14:00 This determination needed in every Indian......Good job Doctor😊😊

You can make something out of every unfinished story and every rejection if you work at it.
you have to learn the process, the visa for tourist is based on an algorithm, at a current point of time, the only limited visa is issued. and following that based on situations. for example, if you want to attend an event, conference, marriage, etc. as you mentioned you are going for visiting and tour... it becomes nonpriority for them.
Its so evident, that he is interviewing 100 people in a stretch and you go to his face and say Uncle mjhe USA ghoomne jana haii kyo jana haii... bs avaiiiii
tho cancel hoga hi visa...

$160 per applicant and rejecting in 2 minutes after waiting for hours and this happens daily across cities.
This is full blown misuse of power ☹️

Very true

Ambassy Sahi nhi fir hain ..
Whoever is planning the apply for B1/B2 visa , don't try to lie while filling application form. The moment you submit online visa form your background checks starts. Somehow the embassy has all access to your information. Physical interview is just a formality and the decision is already made whether to grant you the visa or not.
No problem bro

214B rejection
Don't b worry brother, keep it up 🇺🇸💕👌👌
Don’t worry you can try again after you travel some other country’s. I am in USA for more then 35 years and I own 2 companies so I can help with invitation latter and also for your stay because I own 2 timeshares .

Your vlogging gives us very good feeling, like we know you
@navankur, I got my US visa in a single shot as I had travel history in schengen area. Interview process was pretty simple,
Interview time:- 1 min.
Questions asked:- 4

Sometimes it’s all on the visa officers mood, I think he was in no mood to give you the visa when you already told us he didn’t even check your passport. This means he wanted to reject you before you even started the interview.
Discretion of visa officer might be less. I bet after background check , they have made up their mind in 99% cases and in 1 % cases it's a grey area.
LOL
