Great Experience. The reason for holding your case under 221g is due to visiting few countries and they wanted to have administrative or security checks before they approve your visa. Nice that more and more youtubers are getting US Visa approved and travelling US. Congrats!
Hello sir I m a b2 rejected candidate and visa was rejected in august 2023. I have refilled the ds 160 form for f2 but I m not getting the slots please help me with the slots I need it urgently in June.
Its the normal process of the US visa because you have visited all these "" "" countries. They might have did a through background check about you and the countries you have visited. Congratulations you got the Visa! Once you get the US Visa no one will reject your VISA after this.
Your visa was never rejected. It just went into 221g administrative processing. They check for terrorist links maybe because of the countries you visited.
@@thegsid-yt No that's the correct reason. I received 221(g) for my student visa too, despite going in top 10 Universities in US at 100 % tuition scholarship. Reason was I was going to study antenna design in US and I had worked in ISRO for 2.5 years.
Standing in line for US visa was one of the tiring and humiliating experience I have faced while travelling. Standing in hot sun of Chennai for 2hrs and then to see some of the people crying when their visa got rejected was heart breaking. A lady who wanted to visit US for a wedding got her visa rejected but her entire family had visa! She was bawling her eyes out. Then immigration during first visit was another humiliation, guy asked me all weird questions. When I was visiting fourth time and during Trump years, immigration asked me "what guarantee is there that you will return back to India?" I did not take a minute and replied. "I have seen how you treat brown people in your country. What makes you think I want to stay in US". He looked at me for a minute and put the stamp and said "welcome to US"

US Visa is the hardest to get for Indians. I lost a dream opportunity of going to New York City for at least 2 weeks as a fully sponsored trip from my Company Harley Davidson India for work purpose in 2019 😢 I went to the US embassy and did very well in interview process. But the lady just asked a few questions related to Purpose, place and then at last she asked for my salary package and rejected me by saying Sorry we can't proceed for now. Please try again later. I remember correctly, they were only hardly accepting VISA request of 2 people out of 10. I felt very sad for the lost opportunity for a long time. But at last forgot and moved On 😊

@@AutoRoar I applied it from Dubai US consulate. They don’t ask for any bank statement or wealth certificate or hotel/flight ticket just ask some very basic questions such as why do you want to travel to US, what all places you would be traveling etc. while submitting DS - 160 put your complete travel history. If you have traveled to US friendly countries such as Europe and UK etc it will be a plus. Also I used to work for a US multinational media company which was an advantage I had. If you work for a US MNC it’s much easier to get US visa.
