Really nice arrangement here my dude and even though the 1st trumpet require lots of endurance if you can find brass players to play this live i bet it'd sound amazing

Really challenging arranging this tune. You've got the Lead Trumpet doing their thing and the whole band is busy. I would personally experiment with Trumpet 2 or Trombone having the melody more often which would give the French Horn some much needed rest and Trombone players can soar. Other than that this is really good.

@Reese Blaskowski, i just want to say that the original autor is not Michael Buble. This song was writen by Pablo Beltrán Ruiz and Luis Demetrio, both are great mexican composers. But in sheet music your score says that composer is Michael Buble

mpei brass its most likely based off of micheal bubled cover. As covers are not the same and he most likely transposed bubles cover instead of the originals

So you’ve arranged this for a quintet with a school band beginner horn player in mind and a professional pit lead trumpeter? So many inconsistencies in the arranging and rhythms makes me wonder if you play a wind instrument at all?

The range of the horn solos are in a non-projecting range. The player would really have to work hard. And the first trumpet part is a joke. Why not have both trumpets share the high stuff??

I'm glad you take the time to shit over everything I arrange. I agree with you about the horn part, I wasn't sure how to do the vocal part, since trumpets and trombone are very busy. I think it gets better after the key change though, which is when it needs to be loud. As for the trumpet parts, that's what the first trumpet plays in a live performance of this. Its certainly not easy, but it's doable by professionals/good college performers. As for why I didn't have the trumpets share, I generally try to arrange so only 1 trumpet needs to have exceptional range.

Reese Blaskowski im a chronic commenter. I think a simple change in the horn octave might help. As for the trumpet parts, its not so much that its high, but that its always up there

Frank Starobin lol theres a reason that this guy has twice your number subscribers even after all his videos were taken down. Also its called a lead trumpet part. A fantastic arrangement calls for fantastic players.

As a horn player, that particular range is slightly more difficult to project, but it's really easy to play well. Honestly, I'd rather have the lower part than a high screechy part.

Reese Blaskowski if I purchased and performed this with my quintet would I need to Mic the horn? Not throwing shade. Just making sure

Impractical---if anything----for a brass quintet to do ANY of your ill-considered arrangements and perform them with any amount of general musicality. All of your "notes" are for example trumpet 1 are so rediculously in the EXTREME upper register (like WHY??) that though you've done this DIGITALLY , you don't consider the practicality of having a legitimate performing brass quintet feature a piece like this in rtheir repertoire after doing the Ewalt for example. Also, there care numerous rhythmic eccentricitires that are the result of you not proof reading your shit man.

The trumpet 1 part is nearly identical to the lead trumpet in the original Buble arrangement, which you can find multiple live versions of online. So it's playable by a good player, but thanks for your stupid comment anyways.
