I think they're probably both more personally likable vs Scottie and MJ. MJ would be seen as a psycho jackass if he never won big. Scottie has been throwing shade for years and it makes him seem jealous even if there is some legitimate bad blood between them because of MJ's personality. I see this more as if Magic and Larry were drafted by the same team. Ruthlessly competitive on the court, less intense personally. Won't flip over a Monopoly board or gamble recklessly and have those traits excused as something necessary to become a champion

This contrasts to other universities, where they do make fans line up to get good general admission seats. The University of Iowa values its women's basketball fans, and treats them right!

Yes, she's is the best Female player ever. It took her 4 years and the Major Advantage of the 3 pointer that Pete didn't have. Plus the points he scored as in 3 years with No 3 point shot. Someone who does Stats said if he had the 3 point line he would've Averaged 57 pts. per game because he shot past the 3 point line they have now. Even though he didn't have the 3 point line he still Averaged 44.6 points per game in his 3 years. I'm not taking anything away from CC but I wish they would clarify the differences between Her and Pete.

Growing up, my dad put a basketball net in our drive way. He taught me and my sister how to play. My sister was tall, 6”1 when she was in high school. She wasn’t competitive, didn’t like the sport enough to stick to it. I just straight up sucked at it, but I still really enjoyed playing with my dad, brothers and the neighborhood kids. It was a sport that brought everyone together. My dad ALWAYS rooted for women’s sport teams, he made sure we were watching women make history. My dad isn’t alive anymore, but watching Caitlin Clark makes me think of him.. I know he’d enjoy watching her play. My six year old son picked a WNBA game over an NBA game. We can’t wait to follow along with Caitlin! 🏀🤍

The WNBA as a whole and Indiana coach team better build around Caitlin Clark on her first year.
If they decide to haze her, the WNBA will lose its opportunity to have eyes on them.

Someone pointed out the other day -- I think maybe it was Dan Patrick -- that there isn't a single men's college basketball player this year, with more "Name Recognition" than Caitlin Clark. And when was the last time THAT was true? Answer = never. And he was right: I will tune in on a Saturday, if the Iowa women's team is playing -- to watch Caitlin Clark shoot those mind-boggling Steph Curry-like three pointers. But can I name even a SINGLE player, on the #1 ranked men's college basketball team (the UConn Huskies)? Nope; I couldn't name ONE player on UConn -- not for a million dollars. But I know who JuJu Watkins from USC is, and I for d*mn sure know who Coach Dawn Staley of South Carolina is. I hadn't thought about it, until Dan pointed it out: even for lifelong college basketball fans like me, everything has pretty much shifted to the women's game. And who'd have thought THAT would ever happen?

I agree! I’m so excited to fill out my tournament pool for the women! I will actually have watched the teams play and know some of the players. Men’s pool, not so much.

That’s the media hyping her up though. She deserves the recognition, but there’s a clear agenda too.

Bigtime Women's Athletics was in desperate need of a star and it got it with Caitlin Clark. She is quickly making all of us forget about the horrific sportsmanship and narcissism displayed by Megan Rapinoe and the USWST. The marketing appeal of Clark is going to be staggering.
