Miss Clark has made me want to watch women's basketball frequently for the first time in my life. This is because she is not just a great player, but is an inspirational role model for people all over the world.
I finally had this RUclips interview with Kaitlyn Clark pop-up on my RUclips feed. I want to say that this is one of the best interviews I have heard from any athlete. The gentleman asked the right, in-depth questions and sequenced them in a flowing perfect manner. What a great interview. Go Lady Hawks, 2023, 2024
It's 2024, I'm older than her dad, from England, never watched a game of basketball in my life but clicked on a random clip of this girl a couple of months ago & I think I'm getting a little obsessed 😄 She is just so nice, raises herself above the haters, never gets involved, never makes excuses, & win or lose she is so slick & fun to watch. Actually makes me want to watch a full game, and I will.
I don't entirely agree. She is changing basketball period because the TV ratings for this tournament have been higher than NBA games. I'm thrilled she is a fellow Hawkeye. It blows my mind that when she turns pro, she will lose money - CRAZY!!
@@johnlozauskas778 Actually she won't, she will be the first female basketball player with 100 million dollar deal. Endorsements and bigger contracts for all women players.
I had VHS - and nothing portablr. Calm down all you young DVD people lol From Northeastern Pennsylvania and a big PSU fan who has nothing but respect for this young woman - her skill, her confidence, her "I am one member of a really good team" personality, wise beyond her years, intelligent, well spoken - I could go on...I hope they take it all this year!!!
Angel just copied Caitlin. Angel needs to find her own taunting technique. Caitlin doesn’t just have the skill, she has the bball IQ to coach D1. Not sure Angel has that ability. Angel is a 6’3” female, so naturally she can rebound & score from underneath the basket. What else?
@@briankaufman0529, she may have copied the YCSM gesture (but the ring finger pointing was all Reese) and Clark has certainly never singled out and followed an opponent
My wife was assistant coach to the local high school girl's basketball team. Until then I really only understood pro or college men's basketball. When I started sitting in the stands for girl's b-ball, that's when I realized the girls game is so much more exciting to watch. The guys just run the ball in every play. The tactical plays by the girls are much superior to me as a spectator. And as an aside, who wagers that Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese end up on the same WNBA team?
10:35. Here is the deal. Men like to watch Caitlin because she is overwhelmingly good- better than good and men will go to see her play, will women go- yes, with their men- the girls game has arrived
I really don't mean to be critical but I am dying over here with how SLOOOWWWW the interviewer is getting to the questions. I couldn't do any better but it is just killing me!! 😂😩
I totally buy her argument about women needing to be better than men as shooter because they can't dunk or otherwise use their brute force. Just discovered yesterday that Shaq couldn't even fire a decent 3 pointers during his whole career so there is that.
I believe that at the very least it could be argued that women have a softer touch equating to a smoother form.. Nelly Korda for instance has the best golf swing of any one ever..
i don't see any issues with the audio. sounds perfect. ambient air noise is super low 4:24 caitlin has her own microphone hidden under the shirt. you can clearly hear the microphone pick up the shirt movement. it is not a bad microphone
Caitlin is a great encourager of her teammates and vice-versa! She passes like a maniac - you need to watch a few more games if your comment was about her! I hope it’s not, bc she has so many assists and I’d think you were being very unfair. They are all there to win.
@@andynizzi she shoots like a maniac maye but not passing..she cant do what Bueckers do..havent seen her do the 360 and shoot..all her points are from the outside..if she cant shoot..thats the time she passes the ball..and she should do it often so her teammares can also score..pity points?
This is the best Caitlin Clark interview I've seen!!
She's got the tenderness and sassiness at the same time, such a rare talent.
Caitlin is showing the youth of this country what is possible with hard work and determination. Its a message all ages need to hear or remember.
She’s also showing this 50+ guy from Asia how to do it.

This tiny RUclips channel has the best CC Interview...kinda crazy 😮!!
The three-point shoot Ms. Clark takes and the way she takes them are as exciting as dunks.
I cannot wait to see Clark and Bueckers in the WNBA. The women's game is changing and those 2 are the trailblazers
Sadly Paige Bueckers will not be playing in the W this year. She is using here 5th year of eligiblity and is coming out in 2025 if she declares.
She’s a great player!! Love the drive she has!!
Excellent interview! More of these types of interviews please!
@Mark Keller, I loved the "That's in" "That's in" enthusiasm she showed to the interviewer at the end.

She's not eligible for WNBA until after next year. She will be back for another year from what I understand.

Do the girls still shoot with a smaller basketball than the mens basketball?

Yes.
They should also lower the rim but they take offense at that. Despite the ball already being smaller.
