about 40 yrs ago in North New Portland Maine....I remember seeing the most beautiful colorful northern lights in Maine. I remem remember my Grandmother saying to us this was a once in a lifetime experience.....all I have to say it was gorgeous , beautiful...it had very vivid colors in the sky....wish I could see them again.
Very awesome and extremely brilliant, wish I was up there, thank you for the excellent movie and great music! Love this so much, this surely out does the double rainbow that man cried of as he was so excited to see it and film it. Thank you again, great, great, great!
To me it is jsut a pure blessing to watch God's awsome power on display, I have been blessed many times to witness this spectacle and it is be in winter on a clear cold night, you can even hear them then, most awsome.
the northern lights are one of the most heart warming and beautiful things ive ever seen in person if you get a chance to go to canada look for them every night they dont happen every night but if you see them man its a once in a lifetime thing
Beautiful...coming from the Highlands of Scotland, I've seen the Northern lights on a few occasions but the music and images together are totally encompassing...thank you x
That was lovely. Seeing the Northern Lights is on my list of things to see/do before I die and this just makes me want to see it even more. Thanks again.
There is NOTHING more beautiful in the world. I live in Nebraska and I'm going to Canada in a year for college and I couldn't be more excited. Two things I want to do in my life more than anything are visit the Amazon and see the Northern Lights, I CANNOT wait.
Absolutely breath-taking. Once I witnessed the Aurora Borealis, it was like I became a different person. Like something profound touched my inner being. It's absolutely amazing... as are your photos. You did an excellent job capturing the beauty of not on the Northern Lights, but of Canada as well. Cheers. - Wulf
so beautifull and so peacefull! =) Very nice! 5* I like the song becuz it's so peacefull. Really a song for the northern lights =) I'm gonna favorite this video!
Love these pictures, i saw this while sitting outside my house as late as march this year. We had a lot of northern lights last winter. It is a wonderful phonomenon :)
Thank you so much for that upload - great pics and easy to listen to music (for a change) I've seen the Northern Lights from Montreal, which is an indication of how bad our street lighting is! They're faint but they can be seen sometimes, usually in the summer. Once my mother was staying at my sister's in the country southeast of Quebec City and she said the whole sky seemed to be filled with red Northern Lights. She said she could strain her head right back and see them above her head.
Awesome! I saw them at 2 a.m. when I stepped beyond my tent on an island up near Sioux Lookout, Ontario. Surreal! Sad for those who don't appreciate the wonder... or miss the opportunity as I often slept through the magic.
I was on a night flight from Chicago to London one time and the flight path took us on the very southern tip of Greenland. I saw this from 37.000 feet. Breathtaking from an plane.
it´s sooo wonderful to see this northern lights i like that and I hope to see Northern Lights in Alberta in March 2011 when i come to vacation. greetings from germany
I saw them one time when i was on a trip, and Had no idea what they were. I was shocked, scared, and amazed all at once. When some of the locals told me what it was, I simply could not believe how something could be so beautiful. I will take my wife to see them one day.
I miss them and moved a ways south, where I dont see them anymore. If you get a chance to see them... do... more impressive when you are under them and you can see them dance and move... feeling like you can reach up and touch them... natures light show
Beautiful. Pretty sure I know some of the locations you took some of them from, cause I've also taken beautiful pictures from there. I may try to learn how to make a quality mix with them and post it sometime in the future. Thanks for posting this beautiful video, love the music to match too!
I get chills down my spine when I see this they often say that there are 10 things you should do before you die well I say that seeing the northern lights would have to be one of them thanks for posting this video I've added it to my favs.
@NVanWendy LOLOLOLOLOLOL and I LOVE your description of the damp ripples formed by the waves on a flat sandy beach. BRILLIANT! (Still LOLing from the miming a joint reference XD)
Thompson Manitoba has brilliant Northern Lights. Had a National Research Council Study of the NL there back in the early 70's. The further north you go in all the western provinces the more brilliant the northern nights are.
it's beautiful to see in nature...I had some spot in Iceland but usually it happen every year there and in North Europe. It's also difficult to catch on the video cause of the strong wind blowing in the while and a dark place is needed too. bye
Gods art is truly breath taking and gives me goosebumps. 2:53, see a cross? bottom middle screen 2:58, right in middle of screen, looks like a hand reaching down to earth. and the shadows make it look theres there fingers too i know the science behind this, but it touches me spiritually as well
@manas4 oh i forgot about another great place! it's called the dark-sky preserve and there are many all over Canada. The one i know about is Point Pelee in Ontario but there are others in the prairies, B.C. and Quebec. it's a place that's protected from artificial lights for MILES and you can see the stars really clearly. i don't know if they get Northern Lights there too but it's worth a look. glad to have helped :)
When I lived in New Hampshire I was driving around 4 am and saw white light far off in the north sky. I figured to be aurora borealis not sure though. It was amazing none the less
It depends on the solar activity. On an average night, you can see it from 1-6 hours. On a good night you can see it as long it's dark outside, and mid winter up north means up to 20-22 hours with aurora. But of course, you will need a clear sky to see it.
