Keith Dunwoody sunburst is still a sweet supplementary rhythm guitar....but this here...! The best soloing and live playing type of emulator ! Love orangetree!
Thanks for getting to the possibilities and moving right to the next ones without talking a load of crap. Now I can decide way more readily if I want the software. If I decide that it’s gonna be mine, I’ll find out how to work it no problem! Thanks for cutting through the garbage and just demoing it! And dude can I just say you’re good! I just gotta keep reminding myself that you’re playing a keyboard 🎹 AWESOME 😎
It’s a real pity that Orange Tree Samples don’t put a complete preset video like this on all their libraries. I really want to hear the presets with Evolution Infinity as well.
Guys come sell your presets already as a stand alone vst you would kill bias fx and amplitube and guitar rig and others this r some amazing tones specially overdrive ones r just godly best overdrive tones i have ever heard in my opinion
i wish they would sell lilke a Midi Preset pack using these libraries to be used in some recording or i can go into the way they played, because they are amazing!!!!!
I can't deny I love the presets here but this (and the other guitars) only seem to have 2X round robin according to the store page which is pretty unacceptable for repetitive parts.
I'm aware of that but there are lots of riffs that use downpicking only for certain repetitive parts (think Metallica for example) and alternating between just 2 samples tends to sound machine-gunny in my experience. But I can't really say without testing it myself. That makes me wonder: you don't apparently offer trial versions? Buying an expensive sample library is no small decision so something like Ample Sound does (7 day full version trial) would be fantastic. Or is that not possible with Kontakt stuff?
You can always automate the pick position to get even more variance--though we'll be adding an automatic variance amount for that in the future, too. We would love to offer trial versions, but Kontakt doesn't have the necessary security to do that, unfortunately.
That's a shame about Kontakt. Anyway, do you happen to have any demo pieces (even if just short riff examples) showcasing faster repetitive picking? Overall this guitar seems to have really nice tone (and pickup selection is a big plus) and it's clearly good for leads and the kind of riffs that are present in this video but I'd like to hear it used in different context.
I immediately bought this after seeing the video, and rarely if ever have I done that...this...is...that...good. I can't imagine how much better this could be, it's all there. HOWEVER, in the middle of setting up a new computer, I followed the download and installation instructions and everything went OK until I got to the installation for Native Access...and nothing but freezes and failures. After several tries/uninstallations of the installer/retries I have no idea what else to do. ***So the instrument download seemed to go fine, but it remains unusable without being able to actually play it. ***A quick search found all sorts of similar problems by others, so this MUST be a known issue. I'll give it another try or two today, but if I can't get it to work, I'll have to flush it. Too bad, but really unacceptable.
havlicekeys you think you followed the instructions but there’s a slight mistake that many can make. You now need to open in native access the entire folder that was downloaded and unzipped, but do it from the prompt in native access. Everything else in the folder will be faded and Access won’t let you choose them. You must choose the entire downloaded folder at its top folder level.
It's to make things more playable for keyboard players and non-guitarists, so that the instrument works in a more predictable way, without having to worry about which notes are played on which strings.
Nefarious Affliction it can definitely hold its own. It’s not as extensive as Shreddage as far as palm mute variations but it’s pretty damn good. If you really want something more metal-oriented, try Evolution Dracus. It’s modeled after an 8-string Schecter. It’s vicious.
Major kudos to the player as well as these incredible samples. Instant purchase. Closing my eyes, it sounds real.
It's kind of rare for a keyboardist to be able to play guitar style so well as in these demos.
i always recommend them to sell the midi or something of these demos so you can see the actually notes and practice
Some of the best pinch harmonics I've heard in VSTi guitar. The Blues tones are awesome too.
Very inspiring! I wish I hadn't bought the NI Electic Sunburst now. Orange Tree you're blowing my mind, and my wad. :)

@@truthmanifestingtruth Right on. Now if only I could blow on keys like this guy in the demo video.
me too I'm replacing Session with this one and also buying Baritone to cover the low end.
This was beautiful! I've been eyeing this library, and eventually will have to get it for the blues and jazz tones alone. Great job :)
SUPERDAZE hollowbody!!!!!!!! Or archtop too 🤷🏾♂️

I’m saving 💵 too get this library 😋 love your demos and how it sounds

FYI, you may be able to get these awesome samples for 60% off! Go to Orangetreesamples by July 12, 2018!

That sounds.. GOOOOOD MAN !
This is not a guitar sample library... this is an encyclopedia of tones and styles that opens up a whole world of music to be made.
Claudio Tassitano you have convinced me. Now I am interested in the packs.
you would be hard pressed to find better guitar sample libraries than "ORANGE TREE SAMPLES" !!!
Fantastic demos!
Wow Greg! Nobody can play keyboard guitar like you. You are an awesome gift from God.
i wish they would sell lilke a Midi Preset pack using these libraries to be used in some recording or i can go into the way they played, because they are amazing!!!!!
great player. Not sure this is as good as the Native Instruments ones that I have 🤔
How to add delay in these voices?
Is this squealing activated automaticly and can it also be activated manualy?
Wow, sweet!!
all guitars are beautiful, but please add slide strum in strum mode !!!
Can the sound libraries be moved to an external drive?
Yes
I can't deny I love the presets here but this (and the other guitars) only seem to have 2X round robin according to the store page which is pretty unacceptable for repetitive parts.
There are 2X round robin, but for each pick direction. So you actually get a total of 4X alternating samples, not two.
I'm aware of that but there are lots of riffs that use downpicking only for certain repetitive parts (think Metallica for example) and alternating between just 2 samples tends to sound machine-gunny in my experience. But I can't really say without testing it myself.

Can't decide! Only have money for 1. Strawberry, Rock Standard or Stratosphere ... For new wave like "The Cure" ... Strawberry?
Distanz Music rock standard and don’t look back...just make it work! You revisit this demo for a reason.✌🏾
Eighties Ballad sounds perfect for Every Breath You Take... Or maybe Mute Ant :-)

I'm confused why it sometimes shows the two notes of a power chord being played on one string??
It's to make things more playable for keyboard players and non-guitarists, so that the instrument works in a more predictable way, without having to worry about which notes are played on which strings.
I just bought the standard and very impressed so far. Great tone.
Should I get this or strawberry???
THIS!
OMG really amazing
Очень здорово звучит! Благодарю 👍
Can it do metal?
Nefarious Affliction it can definitely hold its own. It’s not as extensive as Shreddage as far as palm mute variations but it’s pretty damn good. If you really want something more metal-oriented, try Evolution Dracus. It’s modeled after an 8-string Schecter. It’s vicious.
I've downloaded, it opens but give no sound. Says snapshots not loaded. What can I do?
This makes Strawberry sound like a piece of garbage
