Nice man. I found a roughly 8” wide by 14” tall perfectly round piece of driftwood and had the idea to make basically this exact lamp! Went online to do some research and stumbled upon this video which was basically exactly what I’m looking for. Thanks! 🤙
@@Sidswoodworkingprojects down here in Texas we have a town called Canton between Tyler and Dallas. They have a trades day market once a month. You couldn't make enough of those lamps for those folks. They would buy you out everytime. $50.00 is a deal!

Beautiful
Thank you. 🙏
Looks good Sid. Did you apply any type of finish on those?
Thanks. I haven't yet. I'm gonna use spray laquer on one set and poly urethane on the other.
Great job
Thank you
You need a drawknife to remove that bark!! Much easier!!
I'm attempting to make one as well. Is oak alright to use instead of cedar
Yes
Was there any bugs in the wood and if so how did you kill them
Nice. How do you attach the lamp shades to the base?
I used lamp shades that clip on the light bulb.
Hi Sid Late Comment. I Just Made a Log Lamp but I Didn't Debark It. Should I Have? Or Will It Be Ok? Thank You.
nice job next one leave out music not everyone likes same music
Thank you. I won't be using music in my future videos.
how much do you sell these for?
I don't sell them. If I did I would think around 20.00 each.
You definitely need to up that price ! At minimum 50 bucks each! You could get that all day.
I would definitely make and sell them for that price. Is that online. Like etsy or something like that.
