Love seeing your videos again! I’m at 15,000 miles in my first year of ownership of my 2022. Chose the Livewire One in part because of your videos. Your research on the Prismatic Lithium cells, my extended warranty, and Harley’s down-rating of the cells to reduce wear, was pivotal to alleviating my fear of a worn-out battery. Been loving and using mine to the fullest. Daily 88-mile commute with a slow charge at night. And extended weekend rides with fast chargin in the mountains on the weekend. So much dang fun and useful.
Thanks for coming back to summarize your 25,000 mile review!

Like my Ford Mach-e GT, my LiveWire One is charged at home over 95% of the time. Historically on the LiveWire when I DC fast charge I used EA chargers until today. This morning I installed the EvGo app on my apple iPhone 15 pro and headed east to Brookville, Ohio to a McDonalds with an EVGo charging station. My experience? Quick and easy and a clean bathroom. All these things matter. Ride Free

I'm at 19000mi on mine. No issues at all. I will check the front light turn indicators and rear license plate. Love it for commute and on small 2-3-day trips.

Seriously i think the servicing / checks should be free considering they advertise virtually maintenance free and the price of buying these bikes.
$500 just to look at it is ridiculous..
In fact i think this should be true of all vehicles, as long as you do not abuse the thing in any way the warantee should cover the servicing, that way people will generally do the services on time too.

I’m hoping for an update.. I doubt this will happen it’s a shame as it’s a great motorcycle. All it needs is more range and an updated display screen.

I'm at 700 miles on my 2022. The 1st check is at 1000 miles then 5000 miles. $500 to just check things is ridiculous. I'm skipping that if its that much.

Thanks for the great review! Your experience is very useful for other LiveWire/EV riders. Do you have any recommendations on how best to protect the display? For example, with a rain and/or sun cover?

how are you doing on maintenance cost? reason I am asking is because I recently got my first session done at HB Harley and the price was ridiculously high but It's great to see the bike is running well with no issues at your mileage keep us posted on your progress as it is always great to see your videos.

I've been getting my service at HD of Glendale. They're an authorized LiveWire service center and their technician (Fernando) has a LiveWire One that he has put 27K miles on himself. They mount and dismount both tires with balancing and belt adjustment along with checking the steering head bearing for $300. They do the gear oil change for $180 total parts and labor. The other things that are part of the 10K service are overkill in my opinion. At 35K, I'll get the brake fluid replaced and put in a new 12 volt battery. The maintenance cost are way less that a gas bike. I did a video about the cost of ownership ruclips.net/video/CavhhyrxKhM/видео.html

The Harley Museum in Milwaukee has absolutely nothing regarding the LiveWire. All the R&D that went into it- the marketing...gone. It's a shame, it's as if it never even existed, like a colossal corporate embarrassment. Which is too bad, because yours works for you. For the rest of us, the $28K price tag and the limited range were huge obstacles to choosing this over a traditional V-Twin motor. Plus, no potato.

Glad you've had a good experience with the bike, as have I (though I've not driven nearly as many miles.) Harley also replaced my screen under warrantee. Do you know if LiveWire Malibu has stopped organizing rides/events like they used to? I haven't received any invites lately.

LiveWire had a round of layoffs a few weeks ago and LiveWire Malibu has not been the same since. Check out the Facebook LiveWire group. They are planning a LiveWire ride next weekend. I'll be there!

@@freedomiseverything sorry to hear re: the LiveWire employees. the facebook group ride sounds fun, but my ride will be 2+ hours longer getting to and from the starting line. If it’s a nice day, (not too hot) I may join. thanks for the tip.

Front tires normally last twice as many miles as rear tires do?
