  • Finding locations for your pet photos isn’t always easy! But when you have beautiful golden morning sunlight and a bit of fog, you might get lucky with some sun rays. Join Loki, Journey and me as as rush through the woods to take a collection of photos in the heather.
    I’ll show you a few of the locations and chat about what I liked about them, and show you how the photos turned out, before editing and after!
    At the end, we’re going to work on a photo of Journey in the heather, just using Lightroom, and you can follow along by downloading the raw file here!: bit.ly/3DifWHU

      Just a little tip - it's really no big deal: Maybe you don't have to raise and lower the music volume between your sentences all the time. It's perfectely fine with just background music :)

      @@PAReportage thanks! I think it was kind of an automatic setting that my editing program turned up the volume but I think if you check out my snow video I do didn’t do it again so now it’s the same volume throughout 😊

      Yeah I had it with "ducking" before but I've stopped doing that since as it went a bit crazy sometimes. I do like some quiet background music though so that will probably stay. Feels a bit empty otherwise.

    What a great video. Thanks for posting. I have really improved in the last few years as a wildlife photographer but I am definitely lacking in my editing skills. I'm looking forward to using this video as a tool to help me manipulate some light in my images. I really like Lightroom and I like that you did everything in it. You’re welcome! I’m so glad you found it interesting! Lightroom is a great tool and you can do a heap to manipulate lug by with it! I have a video on Photoshop up so see if that helps you with the basics! Once you’ve got the skills in that video, so much is just variations of that!

    Any tips on how to manage shadows when you can’t shoot on that golden hour, would a reflector or a diffusor help ? Thanks

    • @InspawrationPhotography
      @InspawrationPhotography  Год назад

      There’s not really any way to balance shadows in harsh sunlight. It’s never going to be flattering. A diffuser or blocking the sun could help but then you’re going to have a very bright background. Personally I don’t shoot in full sun. Not my style, not pretty, it’s not going to allow me to create my photos. If a client wants photos that look like mine, then we’re not shooting in the middle of the day in the sun

    Beautiful photos but I don't get why you keep choosing angles where the dogs have trees coming up right behind their heads

    • @InspawrationPhotography
      @InspawrationPhotography  9 месяцев назад

      Because I’m outdoors and there’s likely to be trees SOMEWHERE behind my dog’s head… I really don’t care about it as long as it’s far enough in the background that it’s blurry 🤷🏻‍♀️
