Thank you for sharing this. I am actively involved in helping my wife to foster rescue dogs and taking good photos of the dogs is critical, to give them the best shot of getting a good home. Your advice and your recommendations are very helpful.
oh bless that was the sweetest video we have a rescue dog to love him to bits take care
Would definitely be interested to see the editing process. Teddy’s pictures were fantastic what a photogenic little guy. Even his nose licking shot is super cute.
These are amazing! Thank you so much for sharing, this has really helped!
Awesome video! Great tips and you can see that you love your work. I like the way you make and capture what the dog is really like.
Very helpful video and really terrific pooch portraits. You make it look easier than it actually is, particularly the action shots. Well done. Subscribed.

Lovely act of love to te home puppies! Thank you for sharing! Smiles from Puerto Rico!!!
Nice shots thanks for tips
Awesome video thank you so much a few more details about the camera settings that you used such as aperture and f-stop would be awesome
Great information! My own dogs used to shy away from the camera, now that they know it's fun and they get treats, they jump right up on the studio platform before I even tell them to!
Thanks for all the tips! Very worthwhile. :) I subscribed.
Great video. Thanks!
Fantastic, I learned a lot more in this short video than I have in other long extremely boring ones! Dogs are fun! There is no reason learning how to photograph them shouldn't be fun too!
I just found your site and I enjoy your tips very much! Do you have a video on post processing? Love to see it if you do.
Loved this!!
Good job with this video. Honey, that's clever. :) I actually learned a lot of this by trial and error on my own but when I see you are doing the same things it makes me feel better.
Great video. I gave my dog a treat every time I took a photo of her. After a while she came over and posed every time I picked the camera up. And she was 16. And they say an old dog can't learn new tricks.
Your editing is stunning. I would love to see how you achieve such fantastic results!

Learned SO much from your great videos. Have a Canon 5d (but my husband is the photographer). Of course no matter how great the camera, if I can't even rame great pictures, a nice camera matters not! So - I'm taking a course & enjoying your videos!

Great video thank you for sharing. I would love to know how you edit your images after
great video! Thanks
You focus is "spot on". Do you have any videos or tips on your camera focus settings for animal photography (Single area AF, continuous AF, etc.). Great job and thank you.
Omg yes please please a tutorial on how you edit would be amazing.
Also what was the flashes you were using outdoors?
I will do an editing video soon. Here is a guide to the outdoor flashes. ruclips.net/video/yISjsB1e7ms/видео.html
Great video! Any tips on how to actually get the shutter going on the camera?
Thank u so much awesome
Brilliant video
The photos are great! How did you edit the photos? Can you share it too??
Great video! I would also love to see a video on how you edit your photos! You do an amazing job! Just Subbed!
BEST video on this subject, HANDS (or paws) DOWN!!
In the last year or two, I have switched from Canon gear to Sony mirrorless! The Animal Eye-Autofocus of the Sony cameras is wonderful. Not required, of course, but Animal Eye-AF has made life easier for me as a dog photographer.
BTW: squeekies are great to get the animal's attention.
Yeah that animal AF sounds like a winner. Just not ready to make the jump away from canon just yet. Hoping to get the R5 once the world gets back to normal.
The honey works every time!! 🥰
Would love the editing tips but am mesmerized by your ability to point the camera at a subject without hardly looking at camera; have seen you do this in many other videos; I'm impressed!! Don't see how you get the eyes so sharp with that approach!
Auto focus lenses + live view (checking your composition and focus point on back lcd screen)... Great features which gives you more options on shooting position then just using a view finder.
Quite a few of the shots are out of focus to be fair....but I also sometimes put the lens on manual focus and then use depth of field preview.
Really enjoyed your video. Could you please let me know how you edit to make those amazing finished photos
Would love some editing tips. Great video Thanks
Tip 5 made me laugh. It's so accurate!
Awesome contenido

Brilliant ... Teddy was a super star
Thanks for the great tips. If the dog is moving around how do you focus on the eyes?
I usually have my f stop at around f8-f11..give me a little leeway with the pin sharp focal point. you can also use manual focus to set the focus between a certain distance
