Im not trying to emulate anything Blackmagic is just one I worked with the longest with some time I can make anything look like anything lol dont be such a fan boy. If anything I always try to emulate film and sony is actually closer to what real film looks like than blackmagic, just people like blackmagic colour because they like this digital mega hdr look
huh? Blackmagic does exactly what the above $4,000 cameras do, there's a reason it's part of Netflix's approved line of cameras for goodness sakes. Who are you to tell what something can or can't? Besides, where in any part of this video or his descriptions did you see him trying to copy or "be like"? I've seen $8,500 bodies looks like shit compared to an FX30 so whatever you're talking about, take that negative Nancy stuff with you. TOTALLY easy to get cinematic look. Good lens and good editing yields the results not 100% camera

Each to their own. I used BM for many years takes time to learn a different system. Thats what people forgetting when simping over one or another brand - if you spend enough time shooting one - you will master it. They all the same just takes time there is no cheating that
@CINENIMUS they are not all the same if it takes time to learn each of them separately, but you can definitely get pretty similar results when you know what you are doing.
