hey, nice video, but you have to check your audio mixing! It seems like you recorded stereo with a backup function (L & R are Mono both R is -6dB (or so) quieter). -> easy fix to that in Premiere is to uise the effect "fill right with left" / fill left with right" If you still want acess to your backup track you have to change some audio track settings in your timeline. This is kinda complicated in Pr, in Davinci this is easier to do. Keep it up!
I’m a comedian and am torn between the A7Siii and FX3. I primarily will stick it on a tripod and film myself in comedy clubs (low light) 4K 24 perhaps as long as 30-45 minutes (continuous). Is it possible that the A7Siii will overheat? The FX3 has an internal fan and that’s the only thing making me second guess myself.
ive used both for years and have never had either overheat on me. I've filmed an hour long wedding on the a7s3 outside in the GA summer heat and it was fine! With that being said, If you can swing the extra couple of bucks, I'd go ahead and get the fx3!
Tally lights are a dealbreaker for me! I have missed some really good shots because of this, especially on a gimbal, sometimes even if you press the record button, it might not record.
Client always wants photos too , the viewfinder is something that I would miss, its silly to take photos with an external monitor. I have one fx30 as a B cam and a7SIII as an a cam. But thats the main reason why i wouldnt upgrade my a7SIII.
In regards to the FX three, missing an EVF is a dealbreaker. I know some people who really are clueless think It doesn’t matter. But when you’re outside in bright sunlight shooting up at the sky… There’s no way you can see what the fuck you’re doing with the FX 3. And the monitor itself on the FX three is mediocre at best. The EVF on the a7S3 is fantastic.
Totally feel that bro. But I have to give it up for them tally lights and that active stabe on the fx3. Which means I gotta carry around that external monitor. But hey at least I will never miss a shot and have better stabilization.
Atomos Ninja external monitor. I am a full time content creator and I never use an EVF. I use a 1000 nit pro monitor it works flawlessly on the brightest of days. In my opinion as a professional photographer and Videographer, the EVF is more important when it comes to composing still images.
I've been wanting to get the Sony A7siii because I love having a view finder in some filming situations, however it seems that sony doesn't give a shit about that camera anymore since the new update was pretty shit, my sony a7IV has a lot of features that sony a7siii does not have, which is pretty shit
The A7S3 was supposed to be THE movie camera. I didn't care about an EVF because i was only buying it for its expensive video capabilites. Imagine my surprise when the FX3 came out a few months later - qnd i could not return the A7S3. Had i known Sony would fudge the lines and ceown the FX3 a "cinema" camera i would have gotten it instead. Waiting for it to drop to a price i think i want to buy it at.
Great video! I just subscribed and am looking forward to more of your content.
awesome comparison man. i shoot with an a7iii but finding myself exploring video a lot more and aiming for the FX3, thanks for the vid!
Nice! Love my FX3!!
I have both, but I may be selling my a7s3 soon. I like the FX3 more for sure. It makes you want to create.

fx3 for peace of mind

Totally agree! So worth it!!
Damn! True realworld!
love the video do you have a low light comparison between them?
Oh boy do I! I’ll make a video on that!
First time here, great content man, just subscribed :)
Awesome, thank you!
Decided to go with the FX6
I Love that body. Especially the internal nd,s. It’s Just a Lil too big for some of my run and gun work. Do you ever fly it on a gimbal?

My question….. how does it do in low light

totally agree, a beautiful viewfinder immerses you in the shoot and it gives you an extra point of contact to stabilise image
For some reason all I can find online are A7S and A7S2, are they still worth it? Or should I aim for the A7S3 exclusively?
I would save up and get the s3. You find find really solid used ones for a great price!
bro your apparel is fire 🔥
thanks so much! Pick you up some pieces! :)
def going to get some shirts and hoodies gotta support!
That's dope! Thanks so much man!
Good job fam.
Thanks 💯
Sony FX3 LCD resolution is 1.440k dots, Sony A7S3 is 1.229k dots.
As a full time corporate content creator I use an external monitor. I’ve never once used the EVF for video.

Yeah I’ve been hearing mixed reviews on the new firmware updates.

A7s3 is King
What would you buy today Fall 2024?
I don’t care if it has ViewFinder or doesn’t.
