    I’ve never had my own camera 📷 before, but I’ve seen so many cinematic videos with the fx3 that makes it my dream camera 🤩. However I have to be realistic, I know that starting off with the Sony ZV-E-10 probably the best route to take as a beginner 😅. Amazing video keep the content coming 👍🏾

    FX3 - Top Handle, Fan, Tally Lights, Better body shape for video, Cine EI,
    A7Siii - Best in Class View finder.
    If you don't take photos the clear choice is the FX3. The top handle alone is $600. So the price difference is well worth it.

    Great review ! i'm still debating between the FX3 vs FX30. Thank you!!

      For most people i would probably say they should choose the FX30 since you get almost the same as the FX3 just with a crop sensor instead of a Full-Frame sensor. Your wallet will probably also thank you for that decision!

      @@Ekstra_EU Thank you much for your reply. I already bought the FE 24-70mm F2.8 GM II Lens -- but still deciding between the FX3 and FX30. I don't mind the crop factor on the FX30. I kind of like it so my subject has closer reach. I watch so many reviews between the 2 -- it seemed the FX30 produces clearer video which I also love. One review I saw, the person said he rather have two FX30s than one FX3. I normally shoot in night-time live partying event. I'm currently shooting in two old Canon camcorders. I am so new to the Sony niche, let alone the Cinema line -- I don't even know S-Log or Cine EI, and wouldn't know how to process it. When I have the camera, I'm going to shoot in S-Cinetone-- this seemed to be auto, as is, coming straight from the recording. Thanks again, Ekstra!

      @@apsaravideo If Night-time live partying events is really your niche that definitely the low light offered from the fx3 would be your choice. People seemingly can get good results in controlled low light situations with the fx30, but if you're not in control of the lights you'll want that full frame sensor to soak in more light.

      @@AlexDiazVideo Very good advice. Thank you much! Yes, I'm not in control of the lights at the venues.

    Man, I had the FX3 when it first came out, Had to sell in the pandemic unfortunately and got an A7IV which I actually love but it over heats like crazy, Since a year I have been back to doing 99% video and contemplating getting the FX30 or Fx3 if I can scrape the funds together.. Not sure if I can get by with the FX30 which is way cheaper and wait until the FX3II which might come out really "soon". One of my concerns also is with my A7IV I shoot 16:9 and have no problems cropping to vertical and it is really good quality and sharp but it is a downsampled 6K sensor. Would the FX3 have the same quality since it is only a 4.6K sensor? I never got a chance to use 16:9 and crop to vertical when I had it. Apparently the FX30 is also from a 6-7K sensor and I am wondering if it is going to crop better for that purpose..? I also do not shoot much super low light. Any suggestions from any professionals that may have a user experience with this? Thanks!!

    I am so stuck between the a7S III and the fx3. I mainly do nightclub low light photography and videography as well as some day time shoots so I’ll need it about 50/50 for both video and photo. What do you think?

    • @Ekstra_EU
      @Ekstra_EU  5 месяцев назад +1

      Hmm.. Since you're more of a hybrid shooter, the A7SIII would probably be the better choice purely because of the viewfinder. OR.. I would probably go with the new A7R5 since it can shoot video in 4K60 fps and it has a 61mp sensor, together with the best flip out screen.

    01:18 The FX3 does not have Dual NATIVE ISO. It is Dual Base Sensitivity. There's a difference.

    Low base is 640 not 800. Also it’s a 12mp sensor, not 10.2

    • @Ekstra_EU
      @Ekstra_EU  4 месяца назад +1

      Base ISO of the FX3 is 800 after 2.0 update, and The Exmor R sensor and BIONZ XR processor offer true cinematic expression with 10.2MP effective video and 12.1MP stills capture.
