Great info Dave. I was wondering why the level is low when engine running.

Which brand/spec fluid are you using? Since Shell Donax TX is difficult to find in the US is there an equivalent that you'd recommend?

Do you suggest having it just on the bottom of the dip stick like that? I always checked mine warm after a run?

Yes. The tank needs room for the accumulator volume when it discharges.
