Do I have to use OBS or a streaming app to get this working? Would it not work through the Kick website alone?

You can do the website, but you'll need to use a display capture in your streaming software

Question, I use a hdmi cable to my Xbox too my laptop and all the time it shows my capture at times than sometimes when I reload OBS doesn’t show my game capture so I have to remove everything and put it back in 😢🙈

So I’m using stream labs as u know and I put the chat on my screen but I can’t seem to see it from my end but when I manage my live it’s showing how to I make it visible from my end

It's not very simple at this point so I don't recommend it at the moment :(

Why is my stream on kick vertical?

My stream is not showing up on kick but in my achievements it shows I have streamed for minutes...even my friends can't see the stream
try resetting your kick stream key and possibly using a different encoder in obs output settings
On edit stream info for me there’s no save button do you know why?
