If you multistream DO NOT CHANGE "SAMPLE RATE" UNDER AUDIO TAB TO 48kHZ, KEEP IT AT 44kHZ Some streaming platforms are incompatible with 48khz and will not accept it.. and your stream will have no sound. Took me ages to figure out what was wrong.

I'll take a look into it though usually RUclips will do it on it's own eventually haha - also a side note is that sometimes people will skip over something crucial in the video accidentally that they didn't know about and will run into issues since they skipped it, so just another point I'd like to throw out :)

Tutorial? Very informative and well done. Thak you. Seriously. However, despite rewatching the audio portion... I have no desktop volume coming from a test stream I ran on my Kick. The audio meter didnt' appear to register any volume from the game. For a while I was hearing myself on the mic, but sorta figured out that situation. Not sure if it's permanent or was just lucky in my own troubleshooting. Wondering where did I go wrong?
Try checking your audio settings in windows and see what the default settings are and try making tweaks from there, then you can reference those defaults in obs studio
Hey, I need to thank you because that video made my journey with streaming a lot easier but however even if i set every option as you did in the OBS my stream is still only in 720p. I double checked the settings also my internet connection and everything is fine. I have no idea what i did wrong xd
@@CpawsMusic So I just tried to set this up, and from what I can tell..OBS studio is utter garbage. I did what you did with the url and stream key, and OBS sends absolutely nothing to Kick when it claims that it is live.
Hey Cpaw, I watched the full tutorial and followed every step. However when I click start streaming and go to my creator dashboard it tells me that I am offline. Also, I can see on the bottom bar of OBS it tells me that it is repeatedly disconnecting and reconnecting. I'm not sure if that is related but I would like to figure out how to get kick to start streaming.

I was trying to go live before I watched this video, I signed up for a restream and now when I don’t use restream, the stream key attached to my lock account won’t allow me to go live. I have to use restream for it to actually go live successfully and I have that stupid restream branding and they want $20 a month. How do I disconnect that?

That's a pretty subjective question, but really any platform is a good platform to start streaming since you'll be learning the process of streaming along the way. My 3 recommendations when starting out are either Twitch, Kick or RUclips (but mainly Kick/Twitch if you're only going to stream and not make other content)
Do I need a pc or laptop to stream? Also will I need a Webcam? If so I don't have one and I only have a chrome book laptop. I'm also on xbox, not sure if you need to be on PC or not.
So right now it's very difficult to stream to Kick without a PC/Laptop - however if you want to start streaming on Twitch via Xbox then it's much easier and I have videos on that :)

Kick is limiting streamers with 2 viewers or less to 720p

Try using a different encoder under your obs output settings
hey i had the same issue andd fixed it, go to settings, output then change video encoder to nvidia h.264

hey man really thanks for the vid, highly appreciate it. I have a single PC setup where i run the stream and games on the same PC. I was wondering about what encoder i should use, weather x264 or NVENC H264. Lots of people have suggested using hardware encoder for x264 cuz ive a powerful processor which is ryzen 9 5900x but others suggest using NVENC H264 cuz ive a 3060ti. what u think would work best for stream?
honestly try using the nvenc first and if you have issues, then swap to the other one
