Sleep is the most underutilized aspect of recovery, from personal experience I can attest to this. Being tired is a scale for me, from sleeping less than eight hours (the range of exhaustion) to sleeping eight to ten hours (my personal requirment; the range of 'confusion to cognisance' I would phrase it). Sleeping is something that taught me 'how cruel the world is' by virtue of their being specific hours the world uses opposing or contrasting my need for eight to ten hours.

You forgot a major reason for ED that is very prelavent among young and healthy individuals (teenagers and young adults)... Stress and anxiety. The best example is during a male's first sexual intercourse. So many young and healthy males experience ED during their first sexual experience. And that is because they are very anxious and stressed about their "first time".
Another very impotant reason that causes ED is phimosis. Male circumcision performed by many males worldwide due to Religious reasons has many, many health benefits. Not everyone in the world lives a comfortable life. Taking two or three showers a day for millions of people is a dream that will never come true as they do not have access to clean water and soap.

    • @Beensash

Have you had any experience working with patients? I will give one example. Old people tend to have mobility problems. This as a result makes taking a shower a difficult task (for them). In some cases old people need another person to help them bathe. Uncircumcised males who have reached an old age tend to have health issues that I would rather not get in too much detail. And do not forget that in medicine, one health problem can lead to multiple other health problems. I sincerely hope I have covered you.

Well, since I have neither of the first 3 you mentioned as I assumed I had ruled out with my physical results. And I sort of thought that only leaves exercise. The problem with that is bad knees, some hip arthritis, and continuing progress in Spinal Stenousis and previously ruptured Disc. Diet I can easily correct, but I have fairly maintained a healthy diet. I already use specifically organic low red meat, and I'm prohibited from large amounts of green vegetables due to Hemochromatosis. Watermelon has a serious effect on Diabetes. Oh, and I've lost 22:lbs after retirement. Oh, and I don't drink or smoke weed ..lol😂. So, what's left outside of exercise doctor?

I have some bad joint issues, but my doctor was able to put together a good exercise program for me, doing things that wouldn't aggravate my knees or back. Your doctor might be able to come up with something for you, too. It doesn't have to be vigorous treadmill or bench press stuff.

This is not a gimmick. Even when I used to smoke like a chimney, I would be able to hit it hard with my then girl friend. I just took 1000 mg of vitamin C everyday. Sometimes more. Another natural thing I did was drink one glass of water with lime twice a day. Nowadays, I don't smoke anymore but still get rock hard erections in the morning. I walk an hour every day. I eat okay, not much meat or chicken, on occasion. I am 53. I think all through my life, I probably could have had super hard erections, but I smoked and didn't know what I was doing. A little older a little wiser. Young men, if you smoke stop. Try to get the blood flowing, walk, jog or run and lift a little weights. Eat properly, you will rage hard c*c&. Good luck.

As you said in this video, of course it's true that physical exercises, especially, kegal exercises help a lot to get a hard erection. I know this well because I am doing exercises on a regular basis and I have no ED at all. I have got my blood pressure under control through regular exercises. I am now 47 years old and never take any medication for having erection (aphrodisiacs) such as viagra, cupid. I suggest that people who have ED do kegal exercises or some other aerobic exercises regularly for better erection. Anything that we do as physical activity would help us to have a better erection and enjoy sex.

At 1:00, when you say "improvement", what were the measurable numbers and how big was the sample size? Having spent the better part of 40 years in the gym, I recognize the benefits of movements that promote testosterone & GH release like compound exercises. However, age and meds to manage conditions like BP and Cholesterol are still going to put a couple of check marks in the negative column. For some, lifestyle change isn't going to be enough and meds become a necessary daily thing. While exercise can help, one still needs to manage expectations. Regardless if it helps this particular condition, losing belly fat should be a goal.

A few years ago I got pretty ticked off at how I felt, my weight, sleep quality, boners, etc. As a trucker, I've had access to junk and bullshit more readily than healthy food.
So, I decided that if I dint have it on the truck, I wasn't eating it. I had a fridge, slow cooker, skillet, and microwave.
My diet from then on consisted of keto coffee, eggs, bacon, avocado, Boston butt, and a dessert of an isopure shake (only processed food I took in). I paired this with 16/8 intermittent fasting and after only a couple of weeks was visibly slimmer, had a complete reversal of certain conditions men over 30 find themselves with (was ready to go at the drop of a hat and had stamina like never before). In only a couple of days my sugar cravings went away, and even got to the point that smelling sweets turned my stomach a bit. I could smell meat cooking a mile away (or so it seemed). My vision sharpened, my mood stabilized and nothing could get to me. My sleep came easier and was more fulfilling, and I even had an increase in muscle mass and definition as my waistline shrunk.
Lads, I stumbled onto the traditional/ancestral diet of the Scottish highlands. Completely by accident, I found myself eating like my more recent ancestors, and I felt like a lion in a field of sheep. (She thoroughly enjoyed it, too.)
My blood pressure was great, my bloodwork was groovy and life was good.
Then Thanksgiving happened. 😂 But I'm a week back into it and things are pretty sweet. I could go for some salmon, though...

None of this works with venous leakage. It only helps to delay the decompensated stage of the disease.

Hey Dr. RM, quick question on the diet portion of your video. Might there be any correlation between those who eat well and have a healthy lifestyle in general? Was diet isolated from the other factors in the 1998 to 2014 study, such as sleep, regular exercise, etc.?
Really enjoy your videos, keep up the great work!

Pretty good stuff, I just realized that Mario updated his favorite way to tackle ED and it's crazy! Although what he previously talked about was pretty decent, it was difficult to follow, I just go'ogled the latest by Mario Volpstein, it's so much simpler and potent now!

Had some issues with ED after using some recreational (stimulant) substances for quite a while. It helped me deal with the shitty things I was going through during the pandemic, but it messed with the quality of my boners after a while. I mean, the desire was there but…just no dice. Things got a lot better after I started taking some standardized hot-water Tongkat Ali root extract. Worked a trick in a few weeks and helped me get motivated to start exercising again too. My theory is the effects were compounded with exercise, which in turn helped me sleep better, and led to a reduction of my usage of the recreational stuff. All said, it’s been a great new cycle of motivation. Got my drive to exercise back and my erections have never been better!

Slaves "give it up". A true wife in a loving marriage should be looking for mutual interaction. If there are any irreconcilable issues, time to move on and change the spouse. Very simple and easy. Not supposed to be a prison sentence.

High cholesterol is NOT a disease!!! (except FH),
(prove me wrong with cause and effect, correlation is not causation).
would you rather I lower cholesterol by eating carbs and seed oils? and become obese with low cholesterol?
or be low/no carb, never seed oils, healthy with very high cholesterol? or would you rather poison me with statins and brain fog?
