For the last 5 years on my own I've been taking an OTC antihistamine just to stay decongested ; PCP knew this. At 70, my PCP also knew I was having some urination issues and BHP. She never told me the antihistamine might be a problem! Since hearing Dr. Rena in this topic, I stopped the antihistamine and my urination has improved. Thanks! Dr. Rena! I have no other health issues; 5'10", 156, good BP, etc. My PCP means well, but she gives me my 15 minutes once a year, her head in her computer and almost never looks at me and says, "hey, how are you"? State a medicine today; she means well, but you have to be your own medical consultant.
That's become typical in the past 15 years or so. The doctor talks to the computer, not to you. And you're lucky you get 15 minutes. At the clinic I go to, you're in and out in under 15 minutes, including 7-8 minutes with the doctor. The nurse takes your weight and BP, doesn't care if it's winter and you're weating boots and a winter coat, or it's summer and you're in shorts and a T-shirt. I go twice a year, in June and December, and for the latter the doctor says "you've put on weight." The nurse takes BP with me sitting on the examination table with my arm sticking out because they have done away with chairs. All of that is against what the American Heart Association advises, and I've pointed it out to the doctor, but he doesn't care. Ever since corporations have taken over what used to be a doc or two sunning a family practice, it's all about efficiency, quick turnaround, treat the symptom, write a prescription and move on to the next patient. Remember, the doctors are now employees, not independent practitioners. Educate yourself, and don't hesitate to say no to a med if you feel it's wrong for you.
@@ssa8479 Time to find a new GP. I had one that said I was over weight by 1 pound and I needed to join a health club to exercise. In my yard and garden I get hours of exercise daily. I also wanted to say you're 5"6" and weigh 235, so I say your obese...but I didn't. It made me get a new GP though. 8-)
I developed diabetes, high cholestrol, and high blood pressure very early on in life - never smoked or drank alcohol though - I am 58 years of age now, living with diabetes for over 26 years, but been walking with my 15 year old lab for over 3 to 4 hrs everyday, the walking speed has slowed down because of my best friends age, but we still do 25k steps every day.. I do not have a prostate condition, glad I bumped into this video, will be more careful about the food and drink intake. Bless you all and good health.
Thought I'd share my short story... I'm 62, was diagnosed Type2 Diabetic 5 years ago. Dr. gave me a shoebox full of meds... got home and started watching RUclipss of doctors extolling another path, rather than medicating... stop eating carbs! Or, at least, drastically reduce your intake. ALL meds went into trash. I went to "no more than 20 grams of carbs per day". I lost 45 lbs in 3 months. I eat red meat, bacon, dairy, eggs by the carton, strawberries, and switched to diet soda. My blood pressure is perfect. My A1c went from 12 to 5.6. The internet is overflowing with this exact same story. I am not unique. They say don't eat red meat or dairy or eggs, but the proof is in the glucometer. Best wishes.
As a man with prostate issues, I'd advise all males to follow this advice. If I could go back and make some changes in my past habits, it would've saved me from a LOT of my current issues. Thank you Dr. Malik for putting this information out there.
@@doddgarger6806 Yes, this and intermittent fasting brought me relief. Feeling great. I'd say eat all Biblical recommended foods with thanksgiving: vegetables, meats, nuts, fruit, eggs, honey, milk. Avoid processed foods, keep as close to original food as possible.
A lot is outdated information. The right fed is what our body and especially our Brain needs ! Cocosfed and flaxseed for cooking and Virgin Olive Oil on salad. This is what it’s best for us. The rest is oil we should avoid 2:17 . Tomato is still correct. Meat from wild animals or at least grassfed organic meat is totally different for our body then from supermarked. You have to update your knowledge. This old believes we did learn on University before, actually makes people more sick. We know today, there are no fruit or vegetables who can cure us, but we get sick because we get far too much poison in our food and environment, and too little minerals and vitamines. The absence of minerals and certain bacteria in our gut is making us sick. Illnes is not something falling down from heaven. We create our illness with wrong industrial food. Buildingblocks our body needs to repair it selv. We have a selvrepairing system if we give our body what it needs
Watching Dr. Malik's video is like listening to a very knowledgeable and personable physician who is willing to take the time to explain things to you. A rarity in real life.
Taking the time to explain is great. In most explanations, provable facts get intertwined with deductive opinions. The validity of those opinions is a different subject.
Thanks doctor...my dad had this issue and had to have surgery...something I want to avoid. I have all the problems you mentioned, high BP, diabetes, etc., but I am going to the gym as well. I used to be very fit in my 20s (now early 50s) but neglected my health as I was focused on life/career...but now I'm determined to get fit again to avoid all these terrible health problems.
I was diagnosed with moderate BPH at age 39. That was 30+ years ago...and to this day I have had zero health issues with my enlarged prostate. No getting up at night to pee, or any of the regular reported symptoms. My diet and lifestyle factors are most probably a big influencing factor in this scenario. 1) I have been 100% plant-based (vegan) for 51 years now. 2) I have been a lifelong competitive, endurance runner since the age of 15. Even at 70-ish, I still train 75 klms per week and lead a very outdoor, athletic, active lifestyle. My PSA score is always in the 1.5 - 1.8 range.
I'm nearly sixty and have dramatically improved my health with daily exercise (5000+ stair runs a week and/or hill runs) and avoidance of sugar and bad fat. Lots of vegetables and wholemeal food, avoiding simple carbs. Eating fish often. Just a little red meat. No cakes or dessert as a general rule. My BP without meds is now 105/70! 🙏🏃
I'm in my 60s and have had BPH since I was in my 30s. I was AD military at the time and have lived a very healthy life. I've worked out 5-6 days a weeks for the past 30 years and also eat a very clean diet. None of these have decreased my BPH symptoms.
I’m a healthy 60YO who does resistance training twice a week and have been keto for 6 years. A year ago I started supplementing Iodine in mg doses and noticed in 2 months that my ability to urinate went back about 15 years. Iodine is concentrated by all glands and supports the structure of the glands as well. See Dr. David Brownstein’s book on Iodine for the protocol. It’s not that expensive and totally worth a try.
The more I learn from you and learn about you the more I realize that you are a genuine caring person who is a huge credit to the entire medical profession. Per angusta ad augusta
I went on Keto, lost 38 lbs, got off blood pressure, statin and prostate meds. I love being on keto. I actually can eat too much. The only thing that was hard for a bit, was not eating 5 to 6 hours before bed. Easy now, but hard at first. I feel alive now. If you're going to do it, just do it. Cheating on it hurt your results. Just do your homework. Dr Boz, and Dr malik helped greatly.
My Father made it to 86. Had an enlarged prostate in his 60's. They operated on it. Granular tissue developed later. In his last 3 years needed a catheter because of not holding his urine. After 2 UTI's with recovery he said no more. Before the 3 rd UTI he fell and broke his hip. I use his experience as a reference. Only other issue was high BP of which he did not really die from. Kidneys, Liver, Lungs, Stomach, Heart, Brain all in good shape upon death. He was quite a Gardener and loved vegetables, and Burger king to.👍 Great video. It is important to track family history.
I watch a lot of your videos and I appreciate all the free information. I'm 58 I'm in good shape. Started using sinex nasal spray because I could not breathe through my nose. Now I cannot pee hardly at all. I drink lemon juice and apple cider vinegar lemonade everyday. Taking quite a few prostate supplements since all this just started. I just watched this video about you talking about antihistamines. I had thought that the residue running down the back of my throat after I spray my nose might be doing something to cause my problems. I tested my urine with pee strips for kidney and liver health. My creatinine level was slightly elevated. Forgive me I'm not a doctor but I'm not stupid. I thought because my urine is backing up it is probably caused a mild kidney infection causing the creatinine to elevate after watching more videos online. Thank you for bringing up the antihistamines I know that they have been linked to forms of dementia as well. My father-in-law was an electrical engineer and he passed away from dementia and he would take a Contact just about every night because of his sinuses. I'm going to get rid of the bottles I have and hope that that works. On another note I take every fruit and vegetable known to help your kidneys and liver and put them all into my ninja blend them all up into a slurry and I chug a glass every morning Thanks again you're smart and very pretty thank you very much. I am 58 I have a 17 year old special needs son and I am trying to stay around for as long as possible for his sake.
I had BPH for years despite living a very healthy lifestyle and keeping my weight under control. Unfortunately, I eventually developed Prostate cancer and had it removed almost 2 years ago. So, at least I no longer have to deal with BPH or having to pee every half hour. My PSA is now undetectable.
In my early 40's I went vegetarian and insisted on lots of dairy for the protein I thought I needed. Over the years my prostate symptoms grew worse and worse with slow stream and "multiple voiding" my dominate symptoms. About 10 years later I went 100% plant based and stopped the diary. Unexpectedly, my prostate symptoms began improving somewhat and multiple voiding faded away though slow stream (slower than my youth) remains. I was pleasantly surprised to have no further prostate symptom increase over the following 20 years, now at age 74. I'm convinced it was growth hormones either in or produced by the dairy consumption that caused my prostate growth.
Yup plant based for the win. Luckily I started whole plant diet 22 years ago so never got enlargement like my father and uncles. Plus no viagra needed at 53!
@@danwipper Science is being ignored by government. Animal products shorten lifespan and raise the amount of medications needed for seniors a whopping 58 percent!
You are lucky to have been wise enough to go whole plant based early in life. I got you beat on one thing ... no viagra at 74 and still fully functional. You have a healthy future! @@Fearzero
I cannot be sure whether it was the drugs given to the cows or cow milk in general. Since cow milk is designed to rapidly grow a calf into a cow, diary simply has more growth factors than I care to ingest. I don't consider myself as "vegan" but choose to eat very simple starch based foods. Until recently, my garden provided about 25% of all our calories in the form of potatoes, sweet potatoes, field corn and dry beans. I certainly enjoy the benefits of great health with no hint of chronic disease nor any required medications - unusual for an American man at age 74. @@danwipper
Although the explanation you gave here was delivered quickly, I was able to follow along. In my opinion, you have one of the top five RUclips health channels. I hope that the time it takes remains rewarding by whatever scale you measure that.
My father had it, my older brother has it but I don’t. They ate red meat regularly, I don’t, I eat vegetables regularly they didn’t. I’m 66, I am a hard core cyclist, distance backpacker they played golf in a golf cart. So far I have no symptoms and I plan to keep it that way by out climbing my 30/40 year young mountain biking buddies! Thanks for your advice I will add it to my quiver of preventive measures!
Golf carts seem funny to me. But there are not many carts that could cope with the humps and bumps around here. Two people walking together is more sociable anyway.
My father had enlarged prostate and got surgery he’s fine now. I have feeling of enlarged prostate but I don’t want surgery as I’m still young and I want naturally ways to shrink it
Thank you Dr. I had TURP surgery around 5 years ago. I wish that I would have had this information 20 years ago. Thank you for all the great information that you share.
@@richricogranada9647I think that is true. A few of my friends are having or have had this. Their urologist gives them two options. The operation or you will be on pills for the rest of your life. The ones who have had the operation all find their ejaculate goes into the bladder and now wonder if they have made a mistake. This was outlined to them before the op as a "possibility" but in all cases became a reality.
High fat, ruminant meat cooked medium rare combined with very low carbohydrate intake was the cure for me. I lost ALL the risk factors for BPH with a carnivore diet, walking and lifting weights. I lost 50 pounds on carnivore, got off ALL medications, and rolled back BPH over almost three years at this writing.
I agree, and had the same. Unfortunately she was off on her meat aspect. It was insulin resistance (from sugar, carb, processed food and seed oils) that caused the enlarged prostate, and once you get that reversed so will the prostate issue.
Similar story here. I eat fats and lots of protein and veggies but almost ZERO added sugars (almost three years now) and exercise every day, all the metabolic risk factors disappeared. Fats and healthy red meat are not a problem without empty carbs/added sugar. It’s kind of annoying that medical professionals always lump fats/red meat in with sugar, and the studies never seem to account for sugar. Just eliminating sugar resulted in the best health of my life at over 50 years old.
I have the same experience. Carbs are the issue, over time leading to insuline resistance. Solution is to get your energy out of fats instead of carbs. The doctor mentioned diabetics and blood sugar level, but missed the link with carbs.
I removed dairy products (milk, cheese) from my diet and my PSA plummeted. I’ve also read that adding grains like flaxseed to your diet can lower BPH and help with cancer prevention overall. Appreciating everything Doc Malik brings to the proverbial table, though!
One of the best videos yet - thank you. I can't eat too many tomatoes (I used to grow bucket of them) due to gout-like symptoms appearing. But I do eat watermelon, particularly in the summer. Now on to medications - I was on tamsulosin and tadalafil, but dropped the tamsulosin due to increased problems of night peeing and blood pressure going up 8-10 points, now down to more acceptable limits since stopping. Have anybody here had similar symptoms with tamsulosin?
Thanks Dr Malik. Me thinks she is good Urologist. I went through brachytherapy five years ago. Been on light medication since. PSA been normal since. Been eating everything in moderation, so far nothing to complain about except low libido, and episodes of body weakness , lethargy. Am only 69.
1. Reduce weight 2. Exercise 3. Avoid antihistamines, pseudo-ephedrine, anti-depressants 4. Reduce fats and red meat and eat more vegetables 5. Lycopene is good (found in tomatoes, watermelons 🍅) Welcome
I eat carnivore, absolutely love it. Never stronger at 58. My 31 yo girlfriend will testify. 😮. I was a vegan for 3 years. Got fat, weak and brain fog. Keep your kale, I’ll stick with ribeye. 🤠
@@Your_Crazy_Uncle Good luck with your enlarged prostate then. Plenty protein to bind on a diet that promotes cell growth (excess protein turning on mtor and igf1).
Plant based diet here. I started eating or drinking 1/2 cup twice a day of Hunt's pasta sauce and my PSA dropped from 4.18 down to 3.20 a 23% reduction in less than 2 months. The only issue I have is the 4 gm of sugar per half cup serving so I recently bought a 50 mg lycopene supplement to cut back on the sugary pasta sauce. My urine flow did seem to improve.
What brand supplement? I was looking in Vitamin Shoppe and all they had was 10mg concentrations and it was quite expensive! I had seen a study that used a whopping 500mg of lycopene so I was looking for a high concentration product. However, Im thinking such a product may not even be cost effective if 10mg was ~$45.00.
I had BPH in my late 30s. It went away when I changed my diet from the typical male diet of crisps, chips and Mars bars to one which would be called a healthy diet. I have not had problems for years.
@@VanlifewithAlan Pain is not a symptom of BPH. The typical symptom of BPH is incomplete and frequent voiding due to constriction of the urethra by an enlarged prostate. Unless a digital exam detects an enlarged prostate, or until you experience problems voiding, you won't even know that have BPH.
I am 5’10”. Now I weigh 170, down from 183. I have these symptoms off and on. I will go 1.5 weeks with and it’s miserable! Then several without and it’s great joy!! I don’t drink, smoke or anything of this sort. I am active mostly. May walk 2 miles a day in work related activities. Let’s see……..oh, my Dad has the same problem. He’s 87 and still dealing with it.
I have to concur with what has been stated several times here, and that is, the good Dr. does a fantastic job of explaining how the different types of BPH may be caused, and provides lifestyle changes that are a cure not a bandaid. Her understanding of androgens, the receptors and the relationship between DHT, test, estrogen, receptors and their affinity/sensitivity is better than 99% of the male doctors I’ve seen. The fact that she is aware of the 5-alpha reductase treatment, and understands that having high testosterone doesn’t mean that you’re automatically going to have that as the cause of your bph is refreshing.
Dr. Malik Can you discuss PAE? I had this procedure done over a year ago with great success. I'm aware of all the other procedures available for BPH. I know the urologic community is slow to adopt this treatment. Can you discuss this treatment in a future video. Thanks
PAE is performed by an interventional radiologist, not by a urologist. There is no procedure that cures BPH. Your prostate will continue to grow after the procedure, and you eventually need another procedure in about 10 years.
I agree. A urologist may not perform this procedure but would certainly be expected to be familiar with pros and cons of all available treatment methods, providing referrals as appropriate. Since this is an educational channel (and a pretty good one) such a discussion would be welcome.
@@GarySBCA What I wonder is how effective is PAE at arresting, or at least slowing down, prostate growth post PAE and what are the unwanted side effects.
Diet and exercise always seems to be the key. Living in Florida/The South, one almost has to mainline 'antihistamines' to be able to breath. I have an upcoming visit with my Urologist, I'm going to suggest he watch this because he's never given such good information for preventive medicine.
Sadly, doctors can earn more by prescribing something rather than suggesting lifestyle changes. Then you also have the problems that patients think they are ”customers”. Fat acceptance people don’tlike doctors that ask about their weight. Should you mention BMI, they will go elsewhere. That acronym is very taboo
i started having BPH systems in my late 30's...and I totally blame it on ant histamines. I was taking allergy medicine regularly since i was a child because my seasonal allergies are pretty bad. I was taking claritin and Zyrtec almost throughout the year. At one point, i started to have RLS-like systems (restless leg syndrome), and the BPH systems at the same time. My doc at the time thought i was just diabetic, but i wasn't then, i'm not now, and i don't have hypertension, but the cholesterol could be lower. But at the time, i was told to get off the allergy medicine, and that immediately stopped the RLS systems. But the BPH issues remained. Learning years later that antihistamines interact with the prostate was upsetting as i do believe they were cause of onset of BPH for me.

Concerning dietary intake for BPH, tomato is causing inflammation in my experience and that is why people who have arthritis advised to avoid eating tomato.I was surprised that Dr. Malik mentioned it as an anti inflammatory. Based on my experience, people with Prostate enlargement should avoid caffeine and spicy foods in their diet as these foods make prostate symptoms worse for sure.
Thank you Dr Rena Malik for a most easy to follow, easy to understand and clear guidance on what it needed. Thank you and warm greetings from Johannesburg South Africa!

As an aside, I can't believe I'm the only viewer who noticed abnormal camera focus. Unfortunately Dr Malik's face was not as clearly focused on as the deeper portions (background) of the studio. I will recommend this video for the urologists at the Phoenix VA Medical Center. The VA is big on education and in Phoenix, the number of veterans who go to this facility has risen dramatically over the course of the last decade. Thanks Dr Malik for the information.

Well, I have practiced and done many of the said things. PSA is 23. Biopsy is negative. Not sure what to do now. I run 3 miles a day, consume no or very little processed foods. Eat a salad everyday and there has been no change. This is a challenging situation at 62 years of age.
Similar problem PSA at 15.1! I just had my 3rd Biopsy after Cancer Diagnosis 2+ years ago and my last 2 biopsies including one done 6 weeks ago show no found cancer! Now having to undergo BPH tests!
Any inflammation in your body can raise the psa just from the scratch i had bad teeth recently with bad inflammation. My psa raised to 6 from 0.6. After taking care of it its back to normal.
I’m 61. Runner, for decades, normal weight. Started to have slow peeing. PSA steadily rising year after year (7.1). It was not so bothersome, but went to urologist. Had MRI. No cancer, just enlarged prostate, 50 cc, so about twice what is normal, but not huge. Dr. Recommended Rezum. Did not want drugs, if I wait, prostate will only grow larger, so had Rezum done. Still recovering about 4 weeks into it, but doing well. I can see improvement already. The longer you wait for treatment, the worse it will be to treat.

Try an elimination diet, like Whole 30. I did Whole 30 strictly for a 100 days to lose weight. Went from 175 to 155. What was unexpected was that allergies and arthritis significantly improved. Was able to kick decades long daily antihistamine regimen. Even though I don’t have Celiac’s, wheat turned out to be a major irritant. Also sugar. Now whenever I stray too fear from Whole 30 and start eating baked goods the psoriatic arthritis and allergies return

No word yet on carnivores having obstructive urinary symptoms. There is a huge and growing community and they do little else but report on their health status. One of the many problems with dietary studies -aside from what you already mentioned - is that they dont control for all the variables. They compare plant based to omnivore but never include a carnivore cohort. So red meat is added to plant based, but plants are never excluded from the experiment. Much has been learned and disclosed about the toxicity of the plants in our modern diet, both natural and that introduced by farmers and geneticists.
I go twice a year, in June and December, and for the latter the doctor says "you've put on weight." Thought I'd share my short story...

We are all different, but following the rules mentioned will help many, possibly most, but not all people. You are just genetically unlucky I guess.
There's no getting around genetics. For those who are not genetically inclined to have BPH, exercise and diet will be beneficial.

Can it be reversed after being diagnosed with enlarged BPH?
I had BPH for years despite living a very healthy lifestyle and keeping my weight under control. Unfortunately, I eventually developed Prostate cancer and had it removed almost 2 years ago. So, at least I no longer have to deal with BPH or having to pee every half hour. My PSA is now undetectable.
Are there side effects like incontinance or ED?
Yes,incontinence does happen,it's the luck of the draw if it doesn't happen.

Thank you Dr. I had TURP surgery around 5 years ago. I wish that I would have had this information 20 years ago. Thank you for all the great information that you share.
These urologists LOOOOVE to perform and advise TURP to add thousands to their pockets.
Why do they always group red meat as a “diet”. Big difference between eating Fast food and a steak dinner.

Dr. Malik
Can you discuss PAE?
It's so basic and yet needs be repeated...good and simple lifestyle leads to better health and quality life
Diet and exercise always seems to be the key.
Dr. Malik - Love the way you present the information, which is a refreshing change.
i started having BPH systems in my late 30's...and I totally blame it on ant histamines.
Probably correct. I was on a med, Seroquel for eleven years, which probably caused my prostate issues....
I'm a new construction plumbing contractor and do a LOT of major remodel and an occasional complete custom house and some plumbing repair for everyone I know (they don't trust anybody else) and do it by myself. Any inflammation in your body can raise the psa just from the scratch i had bad teeth recently with bad inflammation. My psa raised to 6 from 0.6. After taking care of it its back to normal.
Same with me, I have done everything and I'm in good shape and I'm not fat, etc. still have to get up at least three times in the night to take a pee.
I am glad I watched this video. I am 53 years old and have been taking Pseudoephedrine, Flonase, and XYZal daily for years due to allergies, what should I do? Allergy shots did not help.
Whole 30 is there a list of foods on a link i could check that out for myself.@@bunnyass69
One think you didn't mention is the benefits of pumpkin seeds which have been used for thousands of years to sucessfully treat prostate issues. After a couple months of taking a pumpkin seed oil supplement I no longer had to get up in the middle of the night and at my annual physical my PSA dropped.
Hi, How much of the oil did you take each day?
@@piptutor I used Piping Rock 3000mg capsuls, One twice a day.

Great video. Highly educational. Understood by clinicians and lay people alike.
Highly information dense video - thank you Dr Malik.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.
Men's prostates swell because they stop using them. She mentioned everything but that. If you don't know what it means to use your prostate then you need to find out. Studies have found that using your prostate regularly can reduce prostate issues up to eighty percent. That is significant, But not according to her.
Wow, what an amazingly informative video. I learnt so much from this.
Mediterranean Diet, yoga, and pilates have helped with my BPH. Yoga and pilates strengthen my pelvic floor and relax my body. During the winter, I try to warm up my prostate with a hot water bottle before going to bed.
Do you still have prostatitis?
@@bekabeka71 I still have BPH, unfortunately. I am hoping my prostate will shrink with time. It freezes when the weather gets cold (takes a while to pee). I have to bundle up at night to make sure my body stays warm.
@@meelvis939 my father had turp, he’s fine now but I’m only 30 and I don’t want surgery I want to find solutions like pelvic floor exercising and natural ways to possibly shrink it
i take finasteride for hair loss. am i indirectly preventing an enlarged prostate?
Thank you doctor for providing this information.
As a men is embarrassing to have issues down there.
And is hard to talk to the doctor about it.
Regarding diabetes as a risk, at what
A1C level does the risk begin? I'm a 69 year old man who has been a diabetic for about 30 years. I maintain an A1C of from 5.0 to 5.3. I have no symptoms of diabetes. No neuropathy. No retinal damage. No heart problems. No kidney problems. I'm still sexually active and have a normal sized prostate gland.
This indicates to me that there is a threshold below which no damage is done. What is that number or range of numbers?
If you are a type 2 then you are no longer diabetic. That label is applied when A1C reaches 6.5 or above. Congratulations.
If you’re A1C is 5.0 and you’re NOT On medications you are not diabetic. You’re not diabetic unless you’re A1C is 6.5 or higher
I'm glad thst I discovered these videos, they're very informative and helpful. ❤
Like most things, it comes down to eating healthy and exercising.
Lion diet helped me tremendously, definitely worth a try if you want to get healthy.
I was hoping to hear something about saw pimento. Do you have any opinion taking this for prostate health?
I just love your channel. Thank you for all of the science based information without agenda. :)
After a couple three months on high-dose Lycopene supplementation I sometimes forget that I ever had symptoms of BPH ... FYI, the supplement dosage is much higher than what's recommended in this video. Even with the higher dosage I have not had any adverse side effects what-so-ever !!
What dose were you taking?

What dose and brand are you taking,be appreciated for your answer thanks
Thanks Dr Malik I know that you don’t like me like that but I love you thanks for all the information.
Thank you so so much for putting this information out there !
I was hoping that you would touch on the effects of alcoholic beverages as well....especially beer.
Thank you for this information, Dr. Malik. Prostate cancer has claimed the lives of many of the men in my family including my father. I don't want to join them, so I am trying to be more prostate conscious these days.
My favourite Urologist 😊 a wealth of information - note to self “eat more tomatoes” 🍅🍅🍅
And don't forget they're better for you cooked than raw! 😉
This is great information! Thank you Dr. Malik!
Does creatine monohydrate supplement cause BPH ?
Thank you very much for taking the time to make these videos, very informative
No word yet on carnivores having obstructive urinary symptoms. There is a huge and growing community and they do little else but report on their health status. One of the many problems with dietary studies -aside from what you already mentioned - is that they dont control for all the variables. They compare plant based to omnivore but never include a carnivore cohort. So red meat is added to plant based, but plants are never excluded from the experiment. Much has been learned and disclosed about the toxicity of the plants in our modern diet, both natural and that introduced by farmers and geneticists.
Thanks for the info, I’m doing all the things you mentioned except for taking antidepressants which I will get off soon.
