- Analyzing Huxley’s Brave New World is challenging. It is a novel more interesting for its ideas than its literary qualities.
But what is the main import of its ideas, aside from casting doubt on how satisfying a totalitarian government can be even if it caters to our lusts and manages life entirely?
I have used C.S. Lewis’s The Abolition of Man to reglect on the questions that Huxley poses but does not answer.
