The problem I've got with major influencers leaning Republican is not that they're just trying to grift - which they absolutely are - but that _this_ is the average mindset of "the youth". All the misrepresented talking points are _actually_ how a large swathe of young people think about things. They don't bother to do the barest of minimums because they think someone else will do it for them, because they have and will continue to do so but not in any intelligent way - they'll have people like the Paul brothers spout off about issues that have _zero_ impact on their wealthy lives simply because those are the issues of their viewers. That will just turn into the Pauls spouting off nonsense like this and have _millions_ of young people duped into thinking these issues can be fixed just by vibes alone.
It's fucking lunacy, and it's just going to get progressively worse.
The answer should be obvious: if you want to grift, you go where the stupid people are.

An alternate explanation to simply wanting lower taxes is that some of them might become radicalized due to being hyperaware about "cancel culture". Influencers have to walk on egg shells to preserve their public image. I feel like a party thay **claims** theyre against cancel culture might be quite appealing to some influencers who arent that politically aware.
No, i think its mostly the taxes, considering most of them have done other things in line with this objective, such as move to puerto rico. I'm pretty sure some them are also somewhat aware that Trump wants a weaker consumer protection agency, meaning that they will be less likkely to be chased down by .gov when they scam.

entrepreneurs generally have looked towards the right for seed money. Democrats are more friendly to start ups but I think its a stigma. "Conservatives tend to save fortunes better even if liberal ideas and healthy hiring leads to the success" type logic.
Its unfortunate but seen a lot in my life I havent got conservative with age but a lot of friends have. To their defense they are thinking about more than themselves usually I think having kids and feeling little helpless can scare people towards center. From mass and work in senate a while we had 4 republicans out of entire body and I worked for the whip with a 36-4 majority so it was wild learning experience. You see caucus like biotech and see how companies use young hungry minds as they are easier to pay lower salaries usually being single or without children.
