    I don’t remember the DTF from back in the day but my grandmother sewed just about everything for me from baby doll clothes to Barbie doll clothes, diapers, even my clothes. My most fondest memory is when she got her Family Circle magazines, in the centerfold of the magazine there was a iron on transfer. She even sewed my patches onto my denim jacket and jeans. How I wish I had that jacket today. It was my favorite thing to wear to school.

    Very fun. I never used these as a kid myself, but I did use a lot of Shrinky Dinks😋 And I remember going to the Jersey shore in the early 80's down in Wildwood, and they'd have those 'airbrush t-shirt' shops that also had a bunch of the vinyl type transfers that you could pick out and they'd press a shirt for you. I recall getting this light blue shirt that said 'Skate Rat' or something and it had this rad punk rock rat with sunglasses on a skateboard. I haven't thought about or even remembered that shirt in decades. Sigh. Such simpler times.

    • @YouCanTotallyMakeThat
      @YouCanTotallyMakeThat  10 месяцев назад +1

      They truly were the best times. I miss it so much and wish my kids could have experienced that time period. Isn't it amazing to look back at how much cool t-shirt shops there was and now that DTF or sublimation is trending its been here the whole time. Love Shrinky Dinks

We had to draw our own so I drew Scooby Doo for myself and a Snoopy for my classmate. The teacher brought them home and ironed them for us. It was super fun and i remember wearing my tee shirt with pride😊. I wish I still had it.
