    The last one was my favorite! The video was a tad fast but slow mode should work for those of you who didn’t catch everything either ☺️

    I don't quite understand why you're fast-forwarding through your video. It would be nice if you shared your gauge of wire and what lengths of wire you're using. Please take your time and do a thorough tutorial for us. You're very talented but not everyone can understand what movement you're making when you're fast-forwarding through your designs. Please take the time to make regular speed video and explain in detail what you're doing along the way. We would really appreciate it. Thank you.

    HI, I love the fact that you fast forward through it! You show so many designs/ideas that way. For those of you that think it is too fast, practice with other tutorials first, and then, you start to catch on; for example, how she does the weave one. As far as the length of wire and the gauge -the same thing, just use extra wire, and guess/practice -you can't go wrong. You'll get it! Thank you for sharing your work!!!! beautiful!

    • @selphactualized9801
      @selphactualized9801 2 года назад

      Isn't that counter to being a tutorial. Teaching others how to do something doesn't include an edict saying "if this is too fast for you(assuming that people who it's too fast for are novices)then go somewhere else and practice with someone who is more your pace." Inherent in that message is exclusiveness. Either you do a tutorial with intention of tutoring or it's a demo, either way is fine just call it what it is.

    I make hand made wire jewelry too. I use a vise to twist the wires together to form the band then place the gemstones or beads on it then fold the ends around the band to make sure it doesn't poke the customer. I use 20 gauge I found that to be the best and artistic wire brass colored anti-tarnish. I would love to someday use gold filled.

    Geeez! I wonder if you could have fast forward that video any faster for us!,?? Why would go speeding through a learning video like that? Also, did you use the same gauge wire on all the rings? How much length did you use for each ring? I understand you have prob made 100’s of these videos. But for those of us still learning, a little slower pace would have been nice. And yes, rewinding is possible. But at that rate it will have to be 100’s if times for some of us. Great ideas though and thank you for the flash play.

      I do apologize and am well aware of the speed... 😅 I'm very new at video editing and honestly I never thought people would watch them! I have maybe all of 12 videos. I would love to make another video and go in depth for these rings and slow things down for all of you guys to follow along. I'd stick with 20 and 22 gauge wires to start with these rings. And perhaps try copper if you are new to the craft!

    • @IndiPendantsJewelry
      @IndiPendantsJewelry  2 года назад +1

      If you decide to try again, make sure that you put the bends next to the bead before you do the herringbone weave. This makes sure the weave doesn't come loose when you are shaping it around your ring mandrel.

    Not a beginner’s tutorial at all, as fast-forwarding through everything without any audio makes it almost impossible to follow what you’re doing - unless you’re already fairly experienced at wire-wrapping.

    These are the worst tutorials, there's zero narration or actual instruction of any kind, just a demonstration that seems intentionally vague, important steps are done just as the camera pans away for a second, or are obscured by hands getting in the way. The rings themselves are very pretty, and I'd love to try and make them - if I could figure out how, that is....I slowed the video waaaaay down to try and catch anything I'd missed, but it turns out everything I missed hadn't been there in first place, I pretty much had to just look at the finished product and wing it. Very disappointing, if you're not intentionally trying to frustrate people and give practically useless instruction, then you need to put a little more effort into giving directions and demonstrations that are clear and concise and helpful. Not trying to be a jerk but it's very frustrating.
