@@alphafilms_at Hey! This was initially meant to be a multi format piece. We actually shot with 6 cameras. But the vision eventually died and I decided to still edit some of our footage into a cohesive piece. So that's how that happened!
Incredible work as usual. I love to see how much talented people can get out of these cameras. Are you happy with the performance of the Aivascope or more trouble than it's worth?
@@henrybusby thanks for the kind comment! It's definitely the least cumbersome scope to use. Very strudy, focus is easy and smooth. Close focus is great. And it picks up the character of your taking lens quite well. I'm actually selling mine at the moment, but mainly because I simply want to move on to other lenses. I've had mine for 2 years and shot a ton of projects with it.
Good job! As tu utilisé le Ai voiceover de Artlist pour le voice over? Oh et btw je suis disponible pour des projets si tu cherche un autre videographe ou photographe je suis à Montréal :)
@ I believe I purchaed it online maybe 5+ years ago now. But they are quite available online now, sometimes for free. You just need to tweak them in post a bit to your liking.
@@PLArseneau I really liked the super 35 look on the pockets but I fear that it won't have the same look cropped in on the Pyxis so I've been testing it a lot to compare
editing and everything was awesome. except the lens quality looks a little cheap in certain cuts. was it a plastic lens? Oh i see you posted the gear used. maybe it was the canon lens I noticed. not the greatest glass unfortunately. but over all good job guys.
@@BobbaFett-v7f hey thanks for the comment! I have to say I did add a lot of "dirtiness" in post here. Softness, halation, grain and glow. Which can all make a lens seem that way.
@@PLArseneau the shot where she is looking down into the camera lens and sweating till the end. the character of the lens vanished and seem plain. before that cut it was awesome. coloring, lighting all top notch. maybe you can do a re-edit and see if you can match it all in the clips if you have spare time? be interesting to see.
@ I personally don't feel that way about that shot, it was shot on a DZO 12mm. I'll say that maybe what you're seeing is that we used the cropped sensor instead of the FF open gate for that one and you're associating the smaller sensor look with "cheaper looking" perhaps? Or maybe it the lighting (gloomy day)?
Beautiful work

Great shots and story. Glad to see the bmcc (and others systems) working so well.
nice! may I ask why u used three different cam systems? I know each has it's own advantages but why not stick to one manufacturer?

What’d you do for the grade? Haven’t got a solid workflow with the bmcc 6k yet curious how you went about it looks great!
