My introduction to Bludgeon was in the Orion Pax spotlight comic.
Before that i knew Bludgeon existed but i was never interested. In
Him as a character but that spotlight changed that. Everytime i imagine a transformers story in my head and Bludgeon is apart of it he always. Look like his IDW incarnation. Before he got a messed up pretender shell. I think that version of Bludgeon kinda looks like he should be in one of the Micheal Bay movies. But then he would probably have five minutes of screen time and die in the movies middle. Thanks for showing me how awesome Bludgeon can be Chris.

Also, RE: Future episodes: While I'd personally love to see some character-centric episodes based on Cliffjumper and Thundercracker, because those are two of my favorite Transformers characters, like... ever? If you're itching to do another episode based on a concept... how about Japanese-exclusive Transformers fiction?
Or at least, Japanese-exclusive Transformers cartoons like Headmasters and Beast Wars II from that era where Japan was putting out a lot of those? Because even for longtime fans who've spent countless hours browsing TFWiki that stuff can be... a little elusive.

I would love in a future Transformers production, he would be used as something like Kaos from Skylanders; in that he would try so hard to be intimidating and "one who could make Unicron bow to him," but he's a total joke that has WAY more bark than bite and the Autobots would just see him as a goomba who has no mute button.

Bludgeon is one of the coolest Transformers ever conceived, and his ROTF toy is high on my list of must-haves for my collection - let's hope this "Basics" episode doesn't spark a rush on it cos you can still pick him up for a good price... Loved his story in the G2 comics.

I love how in IDW Bludgeon essentially becomes that universe's answer to the Fallen in lieu of Megatronus himself, Void Scepter and Unicron allegiance and all. John would play with character archetypes in cool ways like that.

Bludgeon was a Con I never heard of for years but when I saw his name in a fan fiction of all things I got curious and looked him up and just loved that idea of a samurai Decepticon and he became like my third favorite Transformer of all time with Transformers Armada Starscream being number one to this day and Demolisher taking second place. Bludgeon actually took third place from Transformers Cybertron Megatron with me.

The Marvel UK story Shut Up really freaked me out as a kid. I bought Bludgeon's toy around that time and he's been a favourite ever since. What a visual concept! I'd have been interested to see what he could have done with leadership if Megs hadn't come back in G2.

Interesting that such an overtly samurai looking transformer has been so overlooked when samurai like design elements (head designs mostly) have been consistently fundamental to transformers all the way from the original Japanese toys.
