We contacted the Kia Corporate office to help with an issue we had after our car broke down on the side of the interstate 2 times after being serviced at 2 different Kia dealerships, Langdale Kia in Valdosta and Crown Kia in Saint Petersburg. Kia Corporate gave us the run around, telling us they would send our service request upper management to have it approved. After 3 weeks, they finally told us that no our car wasn’t under warranty! What?! It’s like they didn’t even read what we submitted. Kia doesn’t know how to fix their own vehicles and doesn’t care if they break down multiple times. This has been a horrible

More Hyundai SUVs Recalled Due to Fire Risk
Over 651,000 Hyundai Tucson SUVs and Kia Stinger sedans should be parked outside until they are repaired
Hyundai added an additional 471,000 Tucson SUVs to an existing recall related to vehicle fires, and warned owners to park their cars outside and away from structures until repairs can be made.
The new list of recalled vehicles-which now includes Hyundai Tucson SUVs from the 2016 through 2021 model years-adds to a campaign announced in September 2020 because problems with the antilock braking system (ABS) could cause a fire. Kia recalled the 2019 Stinger sedan for a similar problem in September as well, and also said affected vehicles should also be parked outside until they are fixed.

I'm getting pretty sick and tired of reviewers whingeing about how small the third row area is in SUVs. They're not made for adults, everyone knows they're not made for adults and no one expects adults to sit there for any length of time. If people want a large third row, people with buy a van.

    • @headers12
      @headers12 3 года назад +11

Definitely! They were never design with adults in mine, they’re meant for parents with kids who want a 3rd row without having to buy a humongous Tahoe, Explorer, etc.

Oil changes, air filters, 1 battery and 2 sets of tires. The most dependable car I’ve ever owned. The quality might not be the best but the reliability is unbeatable. 22 mpg average and $35 still fills it up. I’m a very proud Kia Motors owner. One of the best investments I ever took a chance on. i bought a new 2021 sorento x line black with the rust interior and i love it. i looked at all the other companies. jeep was too expensive and smaller, chevy blazer and ford escape were too expensive and had horrible build quality (gaps and cheap plastics), dodge was a dodge and i would constantly worry if a dog pissed on my tires i would not be able to start it. the domestics have this take it or leave it attitude and the really nice features are only available on the most expensive trims while kia has it standard even on the base. Kia also has lots of different interior color options whereas the domestics have only a couple. At 44k the Kia was the best equipped for the price and the warranty is the best i have ever seen. it rides great and the best part is the chimes that happen to be annoying on other vehicles can be deactivated on the Kia. there are things i would change or options i would like to see added but it has more options and better features than the competition in my opinion.
Features i would like to see added:
    heated and cooled rear seats
twin turbo charge V6 option (from the stinger)
visible tow hooks in the front
dual exhaust built into rear bumper
velvet lining of the glove box and console container (makes the stuff moving in the containers quieter)
    heads up display
substitute piano black for wood or leather trim also on the steering wheel (like the K900)
larger storage container underneath rear cargo area
i think i ask for more i will be making the telluride irrelevant but i am happy to hear any comments or suggestions from anyone else. :)

    - Honda Pilot/Odyssey is also very easy to get into the third row with a simple press of a button.
    - Hiding the rear wiper is one of my new favourite perks. Why? two reasons - 1. The plastic won't sun-fade like others do; or if its metal is exposed it won't rust up as fast. 2. NO SNOW CAN SIT ON THE ARM/BLADE causing build up and not fully wiping the window. As for how much it covers, other SUVs, some even larger than the Sorrento don't even wipe that much of the window.
    - Honda also has the turn signal camera but only on the passenger side and it's HUGE under the mirror.
    - as for the switches or whatever for the climate... When have you ever went from LOW to HIGH in the same day? If anything you increase a few degrees. I don't see what the true issue is with this.
I still love how far Kia/Hyundai have come. They update their vehicles, reasonably prices, etc.

I'm saying this on basically every American review of this car; I have seen multiple reviews of this car from around the world, where a 6ft+ reviewer fits in every row, including the third, behind themselves. A 6ft. tall Korean reviewer fit in the back with the second row set ALL THE WAY BACK. Granted, Doug is even taller but its telling that no American reviewer has given the third row a fair shake.

Kia almost pulled off some Bugatti Chiroņ headlights. I wonder if that was intentional 🤔

9:00 the new Sorentos I saw on the lot had a little sticker down at the bottom of the hatch with an arrow showing where the release button is hidden.

I will always have a soft spot for this car
