  • The popularity of remote food delivery skyrocketed during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the trend has continued to help businesses thrive years later. Unfortunately, some of the robotic delivery vehicles are taking a beating, with several viral videos showing people kicking the autonomous bots over and even stealing the products inside.
    KTLA 5's Rachel Menitoff reports. (Aug. 7, 2023)

    Like someone actually believed we live in a world where a robot wouldn't be robbed, mugged, vandalized, or destroyed given the opportunity... delusional and wishful thinking on their part -- there's no utopia in L.A., where there's homelessness and criminals looking for easy targets -- using a robot for delivery is just asking for trouble... at least, not until these robots can fight back.

    Of course this was going to happen. These people don’t respect anything or anyone….they attack people and commit crimes against them…you’re stupid if you thought they would leave a delivery robot alone. You can’t have nice things because of people like that….and they choose to behave like this because they think they should be allowed to get away with whatever they want and not have to follow the laws like all of us law abiding citizens do.

    • @SI0AX
      @SI0AX 11 месяцев назад +16

      They should have private security robots as well. Maybe that's where they are heading next. Use this for justification for private robot security laws that allows these bots to be equipped with the tools to defend themselves from theft and have laws absolve and grant them immunity from lawsuits.

      When we cause destruction and war it is to protect our land and secure a future for our children. When they cause destruction it comes from hatred, a lack of impulse control, and tainted blood from Cain. Isn’t the Progressive utopia awesome? California Progressive voters are the type of people who would make their girlfriend’s boyfriend breakfast in the morning. You are cucks to the people you vote in. You are cucks to fake compassion and you just keep voting the same. Thanks for the entertainment though! The one problem with automation companies are discovering is theft and crime. The automated check outs are a great example, they are pulling them out of stores after theft skyrocketed. People would scan only a fraction of their items then walk out ripping off the store.
